Pressure washed and prepped the house, making repairs as necessary. Painted the entire exterior and trim to my specifications. Accommodated last-minute change to door color. This is the third time I've used KDL Painting and wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

Kevin Laird and his two helpers did a fantastic job. Our family room has five doorways and all rooms have heavy crown molding so a lot of trim work was involved. A very heavy piece of furniture had to be moved and they made sure all furniture was protected during their work. The cleanup went just as well. When they finished, everything was spotless. I not only found Kevin on Angie's List but a friend highly recommended him as well. He is the only person we'll consider when additional painting is needed. He is not only a great painter but a really nice person.

Kevin was great. He and his team were always on time and were very cordial and polite. Work was done efficiently. Quality paint was used. I would strongly recommend him. Great job.

Responded promptly to all communication including proposal details, price and work date. Came on time and completed work in an efficient, professional and timely manner. Pressure washed the entire curb in front of my house and then, because of how it looked to stop at the property line, washed my neighbors whole curb! Stained the 16' X 24', 15 year old deck that had never been stained. Looks great! We have used KDL 3 times and are pretty picky but they NEVER disappoint. If you want quality work that you don't have to worry about, they are the only ones to use, period.

Kevin and his team are excellent. We have used them for both interior and exterior painting. They are very thorough, clean and professional. After moving and covering the furniture, Kevin and his team replaced a missing panel of plasterboard, filled nail holes, and prepared the walls of the basement media room and wet bar for painting. They painted the walls and floorboards, returned the furniture to its original position and vacuumed the carpet.

Went very well. Surprised me with going over and above the requested services and ended up making the job well worth the cost of services.

This is KDL Painting's fourth job at my home, which says it all. Kevin is always easy to get in contact with, gives accurate estimates at a time that is convenient for me. On more than one occasion after the job is complete, I've realized that I (not Kevin) have forgotten some detail and Kevin always goes the extra mile to finish the job.

All I can truly say is this was another spectacular job completed by KDL. always professional, always quality, always on time.

We are repeat customers of KDL Painting. Kevin and his crew always do an impeccable job! This was the largest job we have hired him for. In the past, he has painted a couple of bedrooms, our front door, and stained our deck. We have always been extremely happy with his work. This job required a lot of prep work due to a recent kitchen and bath remodel. In the kitchen, some of the drywall, especially the ceiling, was in rough shape. The drywall in the J & J bath was new and needed quite a bit of smoothing out as well. Kevin and his crew arrived exactly when they said they would, and were very professional. They took special care to cover the areas that they would be painting as well as moving the rug at our front door out of the way and putting down drop cloths where they would be walking through. All of the switch plates and vents were removed before painting and replaced when the project was finished. All surfaces that weren't being painted were properly covered. Kevin kept us updated on their progress and what was going to be done next, and was very accommodating in working with our schedule. We are of the opinion that a better painting company can't be found! We will definitely be calling them back for our future projects!

Without a doubt, I will call on Kevin to do all of our painting again. His team was excellent. They were very mindful of the fact that we living in the house and didn't want to leave the place in a state of disarray between the first and second day of painting so they did what they could to move furniture back between coats. Also, they were very fast, but more so, quite thorough. The paint job is easily the best we've paid for ever. Kevin stays on site with his team and doesn't try to manage a bunch of jobs. He operates one job at a time so you have his complete attention. There is something to be said for an owner operator. When questions arise, things get resolved. All in all, I would give KDL my highest recommendation.

Arrived on scheduled date; matched our blended color with the paint dealer; had a crew of three who were fine painters; completed work in timely fashion and provided excellent job; thorough clean-up when job was finished. Was attentive to our concerns and questions at all times.

Kevin did a great job for us. All the work was done professionally and timely. Now, understand, I did have to wait a few weeks to get on his schedule - but I suspect this is due to all the work he has lined up. I would have been a little suspect if he could have come out immediately. A good painter generally has worked lined up for a few weeks. One thing that stood out - there was some miscommunication on both sides regarding a paint color in one of my rooms. Kevin offered to come out and repaint it at his expense. I offered to pay him or at least split it 50/50 but he wanted us to be happy so he did not charge us. He would have been within his right to at least split it - but he was very professional about it and I could tell he wanted us to be happy. That is great customer service. Little things like that go a long way. I highly recommend him and would use him again.

Parts of the project look really good, but what disappointed me was the job he did in my garage, I asked him to sand and repair the damage where a previous painter had trash in the paint, but this was not done before he put the final coating of paint on my walls in the garage, there are also areas that he did not finish painting around my garage doors, because he has not come back. I did not notice the poor sanding job until after they left and my money was given to them. There was also a nail pop in my living room that was not repaired where they painted, so it is driving me crazy looking at it. Kevin comes off as being very professional, and he is to some extent, but unfortunately he does not have a good track record with timely service and responding back to at least tell you he is not interested in doing the work, or yes he is coming. I did not want to put this review out here, but whenever you are postponed for months, where he was supposed to come back in March to finish the outside of my home and the garage floor, and I have been very respectful with his time, as it is now mid June. After waiting as long as I have for at least a phone call to tell me to go fly a kite, or I am coming on this date, I have decided that my business of another $1,500 is not enough of a job for his crew to handle. I would rather him have told me that he did not like working on residential properties. Please all I can say is beware on his promises of coming back or being timely on an initial job which took him about 2 months to even come out and finish the first project.

Kevin and his crew are some of the best workers I have ever experienced! We found them here on Angie's List, and although we were initially skeptical, Kevin exceeded all of our expectations! Even though weather set the project back by a few weeks, Kevin always kept us updated as to when he expected to start. Before the work began, I asked if he could stain our back deck, and even though his crew is heavily booked, he agreed to the job without a second thought. When the work began, Kevin made sure to apprise us of exactly what was going to happen and how long everything would take. Every day he showed up right at 8AM and the crew didn't leave until they had accomplished everything they set out to do that day. At the end of each day, Kevin would give me an update on where they were in the process and whether there were any setbacks in the job. Because the old paint job was done with such low quality paint, the coat that Kevin and Giovanni put on initially soaked right into the hardiplank. They felt absolutely terrible that spray marks were visible on portions of the house and Giovanni told me that he hated the look so much that he was going to put a second coat on even though we only paid for one coat. Kevin called me later that day to expound on what had happened and from the conversation I could tell that he would have totally eaten the cost for the second coat. However, I was so impressed with their forthrightness that I offered to pay for the material cost of the extra paint if Kevin would handle the labor. I am not at all regretful for this decision because the final product was out of this world! The attention to detail on this project was above and beyond what I expected. These guys are the real deal and it's my pleasure to try and further their business. Thanks for everything Kev, and I wish you best of luck down the road! I have absolutely nothing negative to say about this company.

Two crew members came out and it took them about two hours. The house looked like a new paint job. It was just a good experience. They came and did and it and I wrote him a cheque and he took off. It was a prompt and good service.

This is the second time we have used KDL Painting, and they have exceeded expectations again. Their work is impeccable, and Kevin and his crew are professionals through and through. We could not be more pleased with the new look in our house. KDL will be back later this month to do exterior painting, and we can't wait to show off the beautiful results!
