KDL Painting

Description of Work: Kevin at KDL was booked up, and asked me if he could recommend one of his sub-contractors to do my job. I agreed, and I was totally pleased with the job done by Brad Abernathy. His first assignment entailed patching and painting the walls and vaulted ceiling of a living-dining room and loft in a Buckhead (Atlanta) 4th floor condo. I hired Brad again for two more jobs, and will write about them in a separate post under his company name, Abernathy Precision Painting (also based in McDonough). Description of Work: They did some interior painting.

Description of Work: After renting out our house in Macon, Georgia, for two years it needed a lot of work before I felt that we could put it on the market to sell. I interviewed several painting companies and chose KDL because prices were similar but Kevin seemed the most Knowledgable and dependable. They repaired walls and ceilings and some woodwork inside, and straightened gutters outside. They power washed sidewalks and driveway, and painted inside and out. It looked like a new house when they were finished.

Description of Work: Kevin Laird of KDL painting came out to my house in February of 2013 to write up an estimate for painting the exterior of my house. The house is three stories with masonite siding. Kevin stated that he was booked through April, but would get back with me as a window opened up to do the work. Kevin stayed in contact during the interim. Kevin's estimate was for $2850.00 with the $100.00 coupon. Some rain and pollen delayed the start a bit, but Kevin and his crew strated on Monday May 6th with pressure washing the house and doing all the prep. I also had him write up an estimate to clean and stain my deck as well. The house was painted from May 7th to May 9th and the deck was stained on May 10th. As I was out of town for work the entire week, Kevin maid sure he regularly update my wife and son as well as keeping me in the loop. We could not have been more pleased with the work Kevin and his crew have done on our house. The professionalism and attention to detail displayed by Kevin's team was second to none. I have already discussed the painting of the interior of our home with Kevin and have recommended his work to family members. I will absolutely use Kevin for any painting in the future and would highly recommend his services. It is not often you come across someone who combines quality work with professionalism and manners.

Description of Work: Brad Abernathy and 2 other men painted a small powder room, foyer, dining room, hall, kitchen, very tall stairwell, and living room. They paid close attention to detail and finished in 3 days. Their payment included the paint which they picked up and brought with them.

Description of Work: We just bought a house that had been a foreclosure. The entire 2 story house really needed a good paint job. It also needed a lot of patch work and caulking to close up separations on the based boards etc. There were some crazy dark colors and stripes in some of the rooms.There was even a room that had a huge ugly hand made cabinet nailed to the wall that had been stained a dark reddish brown. Kevin came right out the next day and gave us an estimate but let me know the waiting time for him and his crew would be 3 to 4 weeks. He had a lot of work scheduled but suggested if we were in a hurry to consider other companies. I had read all of his reviews and really wanted him to do the work so I scheduled other work to be done while we waited for his availability.

All of our walls, doors and trim were painted, which included some crown molding and wainscoting.

Description of Work: OVer the last 2 month I have had Kevin do 3 differnt jobs for me, presure wash the exterior of my house, paint the front and rear porch and paint the complete inside of my house.

Description of Work: Contacted Kevin to get an estimate for painting the interior of our home. We agreed on a time for the estimate, and Kevin even showed up a few minutes early on a Saturday morning..very impressive in my opinion. Kevin was dressed very professionally, discussed our project and made a number of helpful suggestions.

Description of Work: Kevin has done work for us in the past. He came on time and gave a very reasonable estimate to repair paint damage done by a hardwood refinisher. In the end, the refinishing company fixed the paint damage, so I did not need Kevin for this job.

Description of Work: I used KDL Painters. Their office is outside of my area, but they serve my area. Kevin is the name of the owner. I arranged the painting beforehand, but they did it at a later time. They painted both the inside and the outside. It is a big house and it needed everything. There were a couple of cracks in the wall and some outside door with some trim around windows that needed to be repaired.
