I wrote a review about J & M pools back in December 2015. After the review was written, The owner Jacob called me, he was very kind. The reason for the phone call was to discuss what happen with our community pool service. It was a pleasure talking with him. I feel that communication is key in the world we live in today,. For Jacob to call and admit the wrong doings of the company, and taking the extra step to make things right shows a lot about his character. He is truly someone that cares about his company. We had a rough patch and moving forward, I would recommend J & M pools for all your pool services.

They were wonderful. The service was great. I got this company off Angie's List. They cleaned my pool up where another company could not do that and then they kept it clean. They closed it out for me at the end of the summer. I have recommended them several times to other people.

Great staff. Always available for questions and concerns. Response time is great.

We have had weekly maintenance by J&M Pools for several years. They always do a great job. The crews are friendly, knowledgeable and professional. They notify us with an estimate if something needs to be repaired and provide excellent repair work. It's easy to reach someone at the office if you need to talk to them about something. Also, emails are promptly answered. I can't say enough good about this company. They make it easy to enjoy our pool!

It went great. The service reps came and installed the pool cover in no time. I had already winterized the pool, but didn't want to manage putting the pool cover on. Their price for installing the cover was just a one hour service call. I used J & M previously to get rid of some algae. They are timely and courteous and their prices are reasonable. I highly recommend them.

We're new to owning a house with a pool, and we new our pool's vinyl liner was aging, but we thought we could get some more years out of it. We were wrong. After six months, it started tearing quite easily. He found J & M on Angies list and we hired them after they gave us a quote that was within $100 of their competitor, but J&M was rated higher so we went with them. Overall, they did a great job. Showed up on time, followed our specific instructions (our main drain didn't work so they drained the pool with a pump instead), and they finished the job exactly when they said they would for the price they quoted. No surprises and they definitely know pools. The only bad things I can say about them is that they forgot a small piece of duct tape on the side of the pool, and they forgot to collect three poles and tarp which they put down while it was raining to protect the liner as it was going in. However, those are minor and they cleaned that up right away when I called them about it. Moves them from an 'A+' to an 'A', but that's about it. Great job, great service, and we'd definitely use them again!

J&M Pools was very responsive to my request even during a holiday week. They did a quality job and made recommendations regarding our equipment which is quite old. I called the office later to better understand my options on the equipment and the staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. Being unfamiliar with the equipment I asked the maintenance crew, who came a few days later to clean out the pool, to explain to me how it worked and what I needed to watch out for when maintaining the pool myself. They were very professional, patient and clear in their instructions on how to maintain the pool. I have been impressed with everyone I have dealt with from this company. I will definitely use them again!

The guy made time after hours of his schedule to come and help me out. He told me in the beginning that he didn’t have time to do what needed to be done but he valuated my situation and gave me a path on what to do. So, he was good on that.

They originally came out when I was having a hissy fit because my pool pump has been giving me difficulty all summer. I called and Jacob came out that day to have a look at it. It took three visits to fix the problem which was more complicated than the leak underground that we initially thought was the crux of it. They are easy to work withmprofessionalmand their communication is good. Though they charge $95/hr for labor, they send two men and seem to get the work done in record time, e.g. The charge for digging up and repairing my leaking pipe was only $95 (another company told me it would cost anywhere between $500 and $2500).

We had been experiencing several pool leaks in our old vinyl liner over the past two years. After doing our own patch jobs, we called J&M to patch up some of the bigger holes in 2011 until we saved up enough money for the liner. J&M gave us an idea in 2011 about how much it'd cost for our 16x32 pool and what to expect (pool to be drained, liner to be shipped, pool bottom to be refinished, wall foam to be installed, liner and hardware to be installed, pool to be filled, water chemistry to be done, etc.). They suggested we call in March before the pool season got too busy. We had also talked to them about saltwater conversion. They were informative and made it all easy to understand. In March 2012, I called three companies for estimates on liners. Two responded, including J&M and another who said we needed to make an appointment which they couldn't schedule until two weeks out. J&M came the next day and had an estimate ready in two days with everything itemized. They also provided email contacts for 11 referrals or past residential customers. We decided on J&M for both the liner and conversion. They gave us a liner brochure with some samples for us to choose our liner and a $50 discount. We selected a liner and paid about $1,000 for it. After the liner came in the next week, their work and labor was completed in less than four days. The costs came in as estimated. We feared the old pool walls may have needed more work, but they didn't. My husband was out of town, and they handled everything promptly and professionally. They came back twice to show my husband how to operate the new salt chlorinator pump and to straighten out a corner of the liner which slipped out. They have always been extremely responsive to any call.Their prices were in line to other estimates. We were very satisfied with the work and have referred them to other friends who have pools.

These guys are great! The pump and filter on my pool failed. They provided me complete information on my available options. I had them install a new pump and sand filter. Installation was quick and of high quality. Since then, I have had them maintain my pool and it has never looked better. They are professional, courteous and always willing to answer my questions fully. I highly recommend them.

He gave me an estimate on what it would take to get a dilapidated pool working. The pool hadn't been functioning for a couple of years. He gave me an estimate to replace all the non functioning equipment. We didn't use him, because we didn't buy the house. He was very responsive to my calls, he was on time, and he came when he said he was going to come. He went out of his way to get it done. Give him top notch marks. In Atlanta, GA if someone comes when they say they are going to come, that's half the battle right there! I would use him again.

After contacting me the day of the service to give me an approximate arrival time, x2 repairmen, Kevin and Devin, arrived as scheduled. The installation of the Polaris Pump appeared to go relatively smoothly. The installation of the freeze guard was a bit more complex, but Kevin was determined to get the installation completed at minimal expense to me. He analyzed the problem and applied the right solution(s). They made sure I completely understood what would happen relative to the freeze guard installation, i.e., location of the unit(s) on the wall, how to operate, etc. The work was completed as stated. Both technicians knew what they where doing, were presentable in appearance, courteous, and timely. Would recommend their services to anyone. Will call J&M for all my future pool maintenance needs.

Absolutely the best. First and foremost is that Mike and Jacob take pride in their work. The brothers know what they are doing. Quality with a capital Q. You can call them anytime it seems and they will answer. No missing in action pool cleaners. They are very nice, respectful, professional, reliable and punctual. Their prices are competitive. See, I had been working with two other companies prior to them and getting nowhere. See, you could add all the shock and flock you want but my pool need to be vacuumed and swept out. My pool had been sitting unused for awhile. Some pool cleaners are not consistent or reliable. BUT NOT MIKE AND JACOB. They will give you their cell phone number and really take care of you. If you are in South Fulton, you should not use anyone else.

They're very dependable, very good at what they do, and I think they're very reasonably priced.

By far the best pool company i've dealt with in this area. It's a breath of fresh air to have a company that knows what they're doing. Michael and Jacob are great!!!
