It went very well. I met them prior to leaving for work, gave them a check for the as agreed cost of service. I came home to a clean exterior with no evidence that anyone had even been here. Everything looks great - plants, bushes, etc. not the least bit disturbed. These guys are friendly, professional, and all about business. Their rig is fantastic - if you have small kids, they need to get to see it. They will love it! They can look for a call from us next year - only we will call earlier! These guys are in demand!

Lindell did a great job power washing the exterior of our rent house, the concrete drive and sidewalks, gutters & downspouts inside and out. He made great suggestions and the results were amazing. He washed the garage shed as well. I hope to be able to use him again for another property.

It looks like a brand new house now and it (and driveway, etc) really needed washing badly. It was a real pleasure working with Mike throughout the whole process and we couldn't be more pleased with the results and the experience. Communication with Mike were excellent before and after the job. Mike is very trustworthy and reliable and takes a very professional approach to the whole job. His years of experience were very valuable in making sure we had the place ready for him to do best job possible. The results very good and nothing was damaged or harmed at all. We intend to use Mike again in the future and would highly recommend his services.

Excellent work!! Mike was very easy to schedule for both the inital estimate and the actual work. Very rare to see such a great communicator. He made follow up phone calls and called the day of service to let us know he was on the way. The house looks perfect and even as he was leaving noticed a very small item he missed, and fixed it immediately. Can't reccomend him enough! We are using him again for the driveway and sidewalks.

Nothing happened. Another arrogant contractor who can't take some questions from a woman... He just keeps e-mailing me upset that I don't like his work ethic and I called him an a**....
Description of Work: I hired this company through e-mail. I picked him because he was a firefighter. He was nice in the e-mails and came out while I was not home and sent me an estimate. The estimate was to pressure my house except for the large screened in porch in the back as well as the deck next to it. Our appointment was for 1:00 today. I wrote him last night and asked for a confirmation because I had not heard from him. He did respond he would be here. I also e-mailed him that I had a contractor here at my home yesterday and the contractor told me to ask him a few questions for the safety of my home. I sent him an e-mail asking about what the chemicals are used and how hard of pressure? He responded he used bleach and soft pressure. I told him incorrectly my windows have some gaps and leak but I didn't mean to say that in the e-mail. I mean to say, can windows leak? I am tired and that was my fault for what I said but when I told him what I meant to say, it made no difference as he was still rude to me. I did tell him, I had gaps in the bottoms of some doors which a lot of people have. I thought by asking questions, he could tell me if I should put tape at the bottom before he comes. I also asked about the furniture on my back porch because if he does the small portion of the house in the back, will the bleach get on it. He told me he preferred I take the cushions off which was fine. I told him, "Why don't you skip the small portion next to the porch?" He wrote me and said, "I can't do that, I prefer to do the whole house." I said, "Why"? He wrote me a list about materials, his time, travel time, etc. I wrote back and said, "What difference does it make if you are getting the same amount of money for a little less work." It made no sense. He wrote me and said, "I'm booking a job in your spot." I think that is totally rude. As I'm writing this, he keeps e-mailing me. He just e-mailed me to make sure I tell you all that he is an a and has a bad work ethic. I just stopped this review to read his e-mail and I responded "I will tell you all and to stop harassing me! All he had to say if he was so worried water was going to destroy my home is, "You can put tape at the bottom of your doors or I can go easy on that area." Anything but "I'm booking a job in your spot!" Very arrogant to say that "You know no one that works more than me." I know lots of people of work their butts off including my family so I'm glad you are booking someone else because we don't have time for an arrogant pressure washer guy.....Your e-mails were deceiving in the beginning of all this because again you turned out to be a @@@@...I'm not in to cursing but @@@@ is what you are...Sorry but you ruined me and my husband's day over your ego...Best of luck!

Response from Firehouse Pressure Washing
As I am in the business of making customers (that I actually perform services for) happy and not getting into online debate, I have posted the emails of communication between myself and (member name removed) . Also, I never performed any work for this member. On Sep 24, 2013, at 8:49 PM, (member name removed) wrote: Hi, That day and time is fine, the only problem is it's the exact time I'm not here. I leave every day around 1:00 to go to Atlanta to get my kids and I don't get home until 3:45. I'm getting estimates on the painting. The last estimate was ridiculous. This house looks big but it's really just the huge porch. Now with the trees gone, it looks stupid..lol..One whole side doesn't have to be painted because of the brick. I am still trying to find someone to tell me if my deck is work $5,000 to pier it up. It's such a mess. If you know a deck person, let me know. So, that won't be painted either and the deck is going to be torn down. This whole mess with the water in the basement has taken all this time for the insurance to finally deny the claim two weeks ago. Anyway, let me know if you think we can work Thursday out. I don't have to be there but need to pay you. Thanks (member name removed) On Oct 2, 2013, at 6:15 PM, (member name removed) wrote: Hi Mike, I would like to confirm tomorrow but I have a few questions. I had a contractor at my house today and he told me to ask you if you are going to put bleach/cleaner and let it sit before you pressure wash? He said, "If it's just pressure washed it could mess up the house." I have no idea but wanted to find out how you clean it? Thanks (member name removed) On Oct 2, 2013, at 7:45 PM, Mike Dingler wrote: I apply a housewash mix that I make and it does contain bleach. I let it sit and then soft rinse it with water. It is a low pressure process and will not harm the house. I will be there tomorrow afternoon. Basically he was saying that too much pressure can and will hurt the house. I know I told you not to do the porch or deck but I'm afraid it's going to get on them anyway because they are so close to the other two walls…Let me know what you think, we may have to reschedule and I move everything. I can't take chances of the bleach ruining it. Let me know what you think about all this, (member name removed) On Oct 3, 2013, at 9:28 AM, Mike Dingler wrote: At this time I think the best thing to do would be reschedule. Who turns down a job in this economy when we are going to pay you full price just to skip a small past of our home? How is that affecting you travel time and all that bull you listed if you are getting paid the same amount?? Unbelievable. I report to all agencies, Facebook, Angie's list and more. It's commendable you're a fireman that why I hired you. It's a shame you turned our to be an ass. Sent from my iPhone On Oct 3, 2013, at 10:47 AM, Mike Dingler wrote: It is truly a shame that this has come down to name calling and obscenities. Here is the information I had: all windows and doors leak, no one will be home due to the fact that you pick up your children from Atlanta everyday leaving at 1 and returning at 3:30. These two pieces of information led me to believe that this would be a liability for my company. Hardwood floors swell if they get wet and no one is around. Just as you were being cautious so was I. Please do not challenge my work ethic, I work more hours in a week than anyone you know. If you feel the need to report me to whoever then that is your decision. I was making a decision to postpone your job based on the criteria I previously listed. If we could have talked on the phone this might have all ended up with you being another satisfied customer. I am sorry if I offended you or ruined your day, this was not my intentions. This is a difficult economy to work in, you are right. It is unfortunate that me trying to protect your property from water damage has ended up like this. Thanks, Mike Dingler Firehouse Power Washing (770) 468-0014 From: (member name removed) Date: Thu, 3 Oct 2013 10:53:40 -0400 I can guarantee you my husband puts in more hours than you. You never even gave me the chance to tell you we rearranged our plans so that I could be here. You started being rude because I was asking questions. I misspoke about the windows and I apologize for this. I didn't mean to say, "They all leak" I think I am just tired. They windows have never leaked. The contractor told me to ask questions and I did and you don't like it. I could care less about challenging your work ethic. Again, you don't work any harder than my husband who averages 3 to 4 hours sleep so get off your high horse. obscenities? Call you an ass isn't that bad because that's exactly how you acted. Maybe you should pick up the phone and talk to people and maybe you would understand things better. You did offend me and you did waste our day as we are just as busy as you are if you would stop with all the arrogance of how hard you work and how great your work ethic is. Your work ethic is horrible. If you are nervous about a job, pick up the phone and speak to that person. You weren't trying to protect my home from water damage. Give me a break….I was just asking questions to be cautious and you couldn't handle it. I'm in the middle of reporting you now so I just wasted more of my time trying to speak to an idiot. I then told her that while she is reporting me to make sure she told all readers that she called me an ass with a poor work ethic. She replied with "I am, stop harrassing me". This was the end of our communications. Everyone I have actually worked for has been happy with the job. I think it is a shame that Angies List lets people who have never actually paid me for services rendered weigh in on my companies reputation. Leaking doors and windows are why I carry a 1 million dollar liability insurance policy. As all business owners know, it is best to try to avoid a potential problem in which more harm is done than good. I hope that all who read this know that I tried my best to please this member, but some people are just miserable and project that attitude on all they come in contact with.

Very responsive to email inquiry. Came out in a couple of days to provide quote. Set a date for work and quickly responded to several emails. They arrived about an hour late saying it was due to traffic; however, I'm glad they did. The late arrival meant they didn't start work while it was still raining, nor were they having to climb on the roof while it was still pouring down. Spent about 4 hours on everything. Very thorough!!! The back deck looks brand new-even after 15 years. What a difference that made. Also, they were meticulous in cleaning the inside of the windows as well as the outside. They also gave me a 10% discount for first-time customer... VERY SATISFIED!!!
Description of Work: Firehouse cleaned out all the gutters, pressure washed the exterior of the home, the front porch and the back deck. They thoroughly cleaned all windows inside and out.
