WM Tree Services

We hired WM to remove a tree hanging over our pool and fence. The tree was actually in our neighbor's yard, but we had permission to remove it. Wil from WM reviewed the job with me and provided a quote. He was able to get it done within three weeks, which was great. His crew cut the tree down quickly and safely with minimal mess. After the tree was down, they did a good job cleaning up and then ground up the stump. Overall, I am very happy with their service.

WM Tree Services was my savior when another tree company on Tybee Island failed to finish my job despite me paying for it. This company also ignored 4 months of texts, emails and broken promises. WM Tree Services was the exact opposite in providing their services. Wil responded promptly in giving me a quote and setting us services. He performed them by the date promised and completed the work in an excellent fashion. The previous company had done a terrible job on my palm trees and Wil fixed them so they still looked great months later. Plus Wil was much more reasonable i price compared to others on Tybee. WM Tree Services is my go to person on Tybee Island for tree trimming services.

When he came for the estimate, he told me exactly what would happen including lawn damage to the area around the trees caused by the equipment they used. They were well equipped for the job and they were quick and relatively quiet considering the size of the job. They took down four trees that were 60 to 100 feet tall (3 pines and 1 oak) in two days. The stumps were ground down and the large trunks were hauled off the following Monday. (They finished the job Friday afternoon and had to wait until Monday for the dump too be opened).

Will is GREAT! Very friendly and gets right down to business. He brought out a large crew and had all the trees cut down, overgrowth/bushes removed, and debris hauled away in 1 day....this guy doesn't mess around! He then came back the next day to finish off the stumps, and sent out crew to level out the holes the following Monday. I've heard horror stories about how much it would cost to cut down so many large trees, especially how dangerous most of mine were. Will came in under my planned budget, which was a huge relief! Would most definitely hire WM again without a doubt. I recommended him to my neighbors and I hope they choose WM, and I hope you will too!

Showed up on time. Had to climb trees and could not use bucket truck. Worked hard. Cleaned up well. Very satisfied.

Will came and gave us an estimate a month ago. When he and we were ready, he and his team came to work. Got everything done in one day. It was a big job, and they managed to trip the trees without any damage to the fence! Cleaned up everything as well and took the debris away.

Called Will one of the partners of WM Tree Service. I had one large tree branch over my shed and near the power lines out back of my house. Had two other medium size branch and a number of other smaller branches. He came out the next day and gave me an estimate. Their quote was much low than the other quotes I had obtained. He stated he would call me Monday and let me know the day and time, but probably Tuesday or Wednesday. Rain was predicted for that week. He called Monday and stated he would there Tuesday morning. Weather had improved. And his crew was there just as he told me at 9:30 a.m. He had a large crew of men. He also used a bucket truck for the front yard work. He cut not only the ones we had talked about, but other smaller branches on the tree that needed to be cut. I got him to trim a Drake Elm which was not in the original quote. He only charged me an additional $50. The tree with the large branch in the back had to be climbed. He lowered each piece as it was cut with ropes so it would not damage the shed roof or hit the power lines. He took his time and did it right! They removed all the branches from the property - he had a chipped that worked on also most all expect the very large pieces, which he loaded on his truck. He blew off all the areas and made the property look good. I recommend him highly for his company's professionalism, punctuality, very fair cost and getting the job done safely.

Franklin and his crew arrived promptly on the scheduled service day and removed a tree that was in a tricky location on the fence line and close to many power lines. The crew removed the tree on Monday and came back and ground the stump on Tuesday. Total time between the two days was about 4.5 hours. We requested a few logs to be left behind for the fireplace, and they cut the logs to our size specifications and stacked them neatly for us! We were super impressed with WM Tree Services. Will definitely call them again, if needed.

Everything went well. Wil and his crew are very good at what they do. One of Wil's crew climbed the largest tree, in our backyard, to cut it down branch by branch as it was between our house and the power lines and also had several large branches hanging over our neighbor's yard, shed and fence. Between that crew member on the tree cutting and the one on the ground pulling down the branches as they were cut, the huge pine tree came down piece by piece and not a twig even hit the neighbor's fence. They knew exactly what they were doing. They also cut down three other pine trees with no problems whatsoever including another really large pine tree in the front yard that they were able to quickly drop into an open area without climbing. After cutting the trees and removing and grinding the tree parts, they used a blower and rake to clean up any debris that got in the roadway or my neighbors' yards as well as to tidy up our yard where they worked. Going back to the day I called WM Tree Service, I can tell you that Wil answered his phone and came out and gave me a quote when he said he would and then showed up right on schedule Friday morning (about two or so weeks later as they were already backlogged with work) to do the job. When I did leave messages for various reasons, Wil always returned my call. He confirmed the job details again prior to starting that morning, told me when it would be done, and stationed his crew of about five men to get to work. Everyone worked hard and in synch with each other and obviously knew what they were doing. They would have finished the job in one day but a thunderstorm rolled in during the afternoon and so two crew members came back the next morning for about just under two hours to finish grinding up the tree debris piles. Then Wil ground all the stumps down a day or so later and done. It was all uneventful -- and I mean that in a good way. I recommend anyone hire this company -- they have a trained crew, good boss/supervisor, expertise in tree cutting, professionalism, good work ethic, proper equipment/trucks, and liability/worker's comp insurance. That's all you need!

Tree fell on house early Sunday morning; called WM and left message; WM called back Sunday afternoon and came out to house on Sunday evening; he had a crew there first thing Monday morning and the 10-ton tree was gone and a tarp on the roof by mid-afternoon. Price was steep but reasonable given the emergency situation.

They are excellent. I use them all the time. I have referred them to people. I used them three times and each time I have been very happy. The last time was last year, as I had a huge branch fall and I wanted the two trees coming down. He is so good and he really is. I took out three trees that I wanted but one I didn't like the branches and he didn't charge me for it and he is that kind. He is very reasonable. He will come out and give me an estimate and he does a good job. I didn't know they are on your website else I would have gone up and looked up for them because they are really fabulous and he is a good guy. The cost depended upon how difficult it was to get to the tree. He does what he said he is going to do. He comes and he is very polite, very professional and he is honest as far as what he takes whether its tree branches or not. It is easy to work with him. If I call him, I get a message that he will call me back and will set up an appointment and he will be there. If he is running late he will call me and will say he is sorry that he is late and will be there at such and such time. I am giving him high rates because I never had a problem with him and I took him over to my mom's house and my mother is a pickiest woman in the world. She loves him and she thought he was wonderful. He doesn't accept credit cards; he only takes cash or checks and refuses to take card numbers.

Wil did a great job, and came with very short notice.I would highly recommend him.

The day Will and his crew showed up they worked in a very safe and professional manner, everything that Will discussed with me on the terms of what he would do, He did, and then some. When he left the area was policed up and all trash was removed. If you really want a great job done right...call WM tree service, i say this with all honest.

Before the work was started, I was shown proof that they were bonded and insured. Will explained to us just how the tree shourd be trimmed. Once started, they stayed on the job until it was completed. All the trimmings were cleaned up and removed, even raking the lawns.

I have used them twice and my mom and her neighbors also use him. He is really great and very reasonable. He is a very nice person and is professional in what he does. The last time he took down trees for me he had to take down 3 of them in my backyard and had to take down the fence to get back there to it; then he put it back up. He is a very caring individual who is very polite and stays firm to his estimate so there are no hidden or surprise costs. He does a great job and I will use him again in the future.

I liked everything about them. I liked their price. They worked very hard and diligently. They did at least what they said they would do and a little bit more. They are a very good tree service. They were great.
