Description of Work: I chose this contractor because he had the most reviews. I only read the first 4 or 5 reviews which were good reviews. So I called and the next day the owner Dave arrived at the appointed time. When we introduced each other I notice immediately Dave wasa very straight laced person. His countenance was one of total business. In other words I did not feel a warm fuss from him just business. And that’s ok. I retired from the US Army Corps of Engs with over 25 years experience. The last ten was in commercial construction. I was trained to inspect heating and air condition systems. Before becoming disabled, I hired a heating and air person to install an upstairs system which has never worked properly. Upon investigation, I discovered the main supply air and return air entiums were too small. I had a Corps of Eng mechanical engineer design a new duct system for me and I had installed everything except completing the insulation of the metal duct. Then last year my 1 st floor system went down. With a herniated disc I could no longer finish the work so this is why I called Dave to come look at what I had to see if it was something he would be interested in finishing. To my surprise, after several questions and looking at my dilemma, Dave stated he did not want the job because he did not put his name on someone else’s work when he did not know what was done. At first I replied I understood and appreciated him coming out. Then after he left, I began to ponder on what Dave had said. One of the reviews I read on Angie’s list stated he had performed a complete change out of an old unit. Unless he completely changed all the duct work as well as the heating and air system he had to tie into the existing duct. Which another contractor would have installed. This statement contradicted Dave’s statement to me when he said “…I don’t put my name own someone else’s work.” This to me sounded like a false statement. When a condenser or air handler is old and needs replacement, most reputable contractors just change out the two main units with a newer and more effienct system. In this case you would connect to the existing duct work. The goes contrary to Dave’s statement to me. He furthermore faulted some of the work which I had started but was uncompleted as being something he would never put HIS name one. I did not brother to tell him I had done the incomplete work. Conclusion: Rating Scale 1 –10. 10 being best. Promptness = 10 Personality = 6 Honesty: Unknown. His words to me did not back up his reviews. Recommendations to others: Buyer bewares. This company may be great but I cannot honestly say one way or the other. Would I use them again: No. At best, I was left puzzled. Finally, as a disabled veteran and disabled senior citizen, without any heat or air, Dave seems to be totally unconcerned. This alone was reason enough for me to decide I did not wish his services.

Description of Work: Diagosed the Problm, installed new capacitor and recharged AC. Unit worked well for three days. Uh oh! I called on Labor Day and James was there within an hour. Problem was an easy fix--replace really clogged filter.

Description of Work: They came out to inspect and clean our ac system as per suggested by the Win Home Inspection. They were prompt and explained everything in detail. We needed a whole new system as the one we had was almost 18 years old. They gave us an estimate and the date they could come back and install. they also let us put a down payment on, and the balance when they came back. They were here a whole day....we very professional and courteous. The cleaned up their entire mess and took care of the old system.

Description of Work: Our AC is less then two years old and these guys came out, pin pointed the problem, stayed past 7:00 pm on a Friday night, and corrected the issue! Some sort of regulator was bad and they replaced it.
