Terrible. They don't care at all when I complain they miss pick up. And then the rats and roaches invade. UGH.
Description of Work: I chose them to pick up my trash and recycling and they are THE WORST company ever! They miss pickup and don't care! Even when I complain! After about 20 time of missing pickup, I am fed up!

Consistently failed to pickup trash bin on scheduled days. Customer Service cites "Equipment Problems". Problem keeps recurring even after contacting management and having promise that issues have been corrected. Customer Service is out of Atlanta not Savannah. Have used Waste Management for 30 years. These have all occurred in last year.

I cancelled my service with Waste Management in late September. The next billing cycle was in early October. I was assured several times by phone that this was all taken care of and that I would not be billed. They did come and pick up my container so I thought every thing was settled. Then a charge of $114.00 for the next billing cycle appeared on my checking account. I called about this and was told that the service does show as cancelled and that I would be reimbursed in 6 to 8 business weeks. This is unacceptable. I have already started using another waste removal company. They should never have charged me for this cycle and certainly should not take almost two months to reimburse me.

When the city dropped service, I decided to go with Waste Management, because I had used them before up north. Service was good in previous location. Even though they were 2nd highest in cost here . In the first three months I had to call 12 of 13 weeks to get service because they missed my house either for regular or recyclable garbage 12 out of 13 weeks. I have tried calling the local office and the national base, sometimes both. This month I have called twice, so you could say they are getting better, but calling 14 out of 18 weeks is starting to take its toll. By the way don't use their email service, it takes 48 to 96 hours before reply. Everytime I call customer service I get someone new, they apologize, for the bad service and say they are working on it. I called today and they said "we know we are having problems and we are trying to make changes." Six weeks after I fired them, they showed up to pick up the garbage, they had not showed up during that six week period. I informed the men picking up garbage I had dropped their service, they said no one had contacted them from the office to let them know. I said I was sorry but service had been way to inconsistent to keep the service.

Promises but no service what so ever. Would not recommend this company for trash/garbage collection in this area of the world.
Description of Work: After 3 weeks from the time I signed up, the trash container, promised in 3-5 business days had not arrived. Trash truck never stopped by my house, as if my account with did not exist. Called main office several times. I got the the same script read to me each time and a promise to get "Operations" to do something. Nothing ever happened.

We have used this service for a number of years. (Appox. 8) They are a "Hit or Miss" company for us. They have missed picking up our trash on several occasions. This week was the last straw! Tuesday pick-up.....never came. They sent out an animated phone response stating that the apologized IF our trash wasn't picked up that day, and if it hadn't it would be picked up the following day. So we left our container out. Still no pick up. I called DAILEY.... our next regularly secedualed pick up day us Friday. STILL no trash collection. I again called and was promised that the trash would be removed no later than close of business. ( remember this is our bi-weekly secedualed pick up day, so why the delay??). It's now 8:00 p.m. No. Pick-up. And no customer service after 5:00. I'm done with WM. Looking for a new company I can depend on.

I started out with Waste Management, and they referred me to a subcontractor, Nature is Calling, Greg Reed. He would not return my calls, and I left 3 or 4 messages. Finally, I ended up using Nature is Calling, through a different contact, not Greg Reed. I needed the dumpster, so I went ahead a got one, but I wouldn't use Greg again. The new contact got me exactly what I needed, and she was very prompt. I would use her again, but not Greg Reed.

We pay them quarterly. They take everything. They don't distinguish. We've not had any problems with them.
