Never showed up!!!

This was a great company to work with on the many projects I had. On time and very neat work. The price was very reasonable! We are very pleased!

Mr.Collins was very professional and kind. His crew was punctual and the prices were very reasonable.

Terrible. I hired Tim Collins, aka TLC Handyman services, to do work on my back porch and master bath. I needed skylights removed and the roof over my back porch repaired. I contacted Mr.Collins one week after completion because I saw water leaking in my bathroom. Mr. Collins "said" he came out, (while I was at work) sprayed my roof with the hose and found no leaks so most likely "the shingles just hadn't sealed yet". Rained a couple more times, I would hear water dripping from the sealing into my bathtub. Sent Mr.Collins pictures and told him I thought it was still leaking. He said he would see if he could get the roofers to come check it out. A month goes by, nothing from Mr.Collins. Now comes October and we have to evacuate due to hurricane Matthew. I left it alone for a while just out of consideration for Mr.Collins and knowing with the damage around Savannah he was probably pretty busy. Parts of Savannah had some pretty bad damage but my neighborhood was virtually untouched. Not so much as even a tree limb in my yard when we returned home. Towards the end of November I texted Mr.Collins and reminded him that I was still waiting. What happened next blew me away & astounded me. When I contacted Mr. Collins he acted as if he didn't know what I was talking about and blamed the hurricane. He said, "the hurricane probably blew a few shingles off." I told him no, I didn't think that was the problem because the problem was there before the hurricane. He then tells me he wished he had known about it prior so that he could have the roofers cover it under warranty. (??!??) I reminded him that I contacted him 1 week after completion. I reminded him of the photos I sent. He completely ignored me saying that part and went into a tangent about the hurricane blowing the roof off of every house in Savannah and how now I'm trying to blame him for the damage to my home. (Wow!) He proceeded to tell me "what I needed to do was file with my insurance company and hire someone to fix it". This man is a crook. Never again will I support a small business when it comes to my biggest investment; my home. Especially not this man. You hear of horror stories but I guess you never really think that there are enough terrible people in this world that you will have a personal experience. The photos I posted are the same photos I sent to Mr.Collins. I don't believe he ever came back out to look at the terrible job he did. He got his money and didn't care about the quality of the job. My neighbor had some work done by Mr.Collins as well, when I was telling him of my experience he told me that he wished he had known I hired Mr.Collins because he had to hire someone to redo the work that Mr.Collins did for him, too. Coincidence? I think not..
