was fine at first but then he just left the job and never bothered to make contact or finish the job he got paid for. I gave him half up front and the other half on the last day but he ran out of paint. this is where he left and said he would finish it up in a day or two. It never got done. I even gave him an extra 40 bucks, a free dresser, and a coffee table.
Description of Work: I called Mike up and he came out to give an estimate on painting 2 bedrooms, 1 small hallway, 1 bathroom, and a deck and laundry room. He also said he would perform small wall patches. The original price was 600 but his wife added another 50 onto since it was a 20 minute drive which i was ok with. I picked out the colors and they showed up about 2.5 hours late from when they said they would start work which wasnt cool. they patched the walls where you can still see the minor holes in the wall after they painted them. They also got paint on the floor and the trim where it wasnt suppose to be. There is also spots that never got a second coat and they never bothered to check their work. The deck required 6 gallons of paint more then he said it would need which i was ok with but he never bothered to call me back or respond to any of my emails regarding when he wanted to finish it up. His business etiquette was something to be desired. If he wanted more money then maybe he should of called me back and talked to me at least. I hate people who screw other people over and dont do what they say they are going to do. I hope this helps someone else so that they do not get screwed.

He came over and let us know he could do the total job for $500 so we gave him an additional $200. He got about half of the work done and he said he needed more money. We agreed to pay a little more so he could complete the job. After doing so, he never came back to complete the job. He then never answered our calls or responded to us and was not responsive to our BBB complaint either.
Description of Work: My husband and I bid on and won a $300 gift certificate offered by Mike Keegan. We hired him to paint our bathroom.

The bathroom walls had to be refinished with joint compound(drywall mud)where necessary because old wallpaper had been removed taking some of the sheet rock paper backing with it. After the joint compound dries it has to be completely sanded smooth so that no dips or ridges show through the paint which the painter didn't do! After the painting was done you can see the outlines(dips and ridges) of the compound througth the paint. The dinning room had no sheet rock damage. No complaints.
Description of Work: Subject: Paint master bathroom, dinning room(partial) Labor: Apply drywall mud where necessary, let dry, sand walls competely and apply two coats of paint.

He initially came and presented a folio with several samples of his work....so many it was really hard to pick just one. He showed up on time and finished the work when he promised. He cleaned up totally and even left a small amount of top coat paint in case I needed a touch-up. I would certainly call him again!
Description of Work: Faux painting on great room feature wall, entry walls, 2 bathroom walls and bonus room. Faux painting was a 5 step process made to look like italian plaster. The depth of color and interest with changing light was phenomenal.

Bought a new house with contractor grade finishes....every wall was the same color. I saw an ad for Faux Palette and called just to get information. He came to the house within 2 days and presented a portfolio with many, many different finishes and options. He actually made it difficult to choose, there were so many beautiful examples.....and not just little chips....large...some over 12" x 18". Because of the layers necessary and the drying time it took 2 days to do each area. After the first day it was a little scary because the color looked so flat and not at all what I was expecting. But oh, my....the second day! The color personalities just jumped out and grabbed you. He did a marvelous job of cleaning up after each day and was very professional as well as very friendly. This is definitely one of those jobs you have to see for yourself....words just can't do it justice.
Description of Work: Transformed areas of a new boring tract house into spashes of WOW! Uses materials with textures and colors layered into unusual and eye-catching finishes to make areas where you just want to stand and stare.
