+ -1 moreBefore we begin going through the process of looking through the many manufacturer fabric books Taylor Upholstery has on the premises, Lauri suggested we check out their scrap bolts for our two office chairs. She told me she could give us a good deal if something suited us from those bolts. Fortunately for us, we found an ideal fabric that suited our taste and needs. The material was perfect for our décor and enabled us to receive a significant price cut. Taylor upholstery did a great job. Lauri and Will are on top of everything...we got the chairs exactly when promised and we are extremely happy with the outcome. I would definitely recommend Taylor Upholstery.

+ 0 moreDeserves the five stars and more. From the beginning when I brought my car in shambles: parts thrown in and a driver's seat unbolted, they were so supportive and helpful. AND HONEST. They told me they could put it back together but wouldn't be able to get to it until mid-summer (it was the beginning of May). They told me to go back and gather some of the parts that were missing - like the back seat cushion, the headrests... I went back with the missing parts and they put in the bare back seat and took out the disassembled passenger seat so that I could pick up my dog who was at the vet's. When the beginning of July came the owner called me to let me know it was time to work on my car (mid-summer just like promised). They did most of the work at the shop while I still had my car to drive to save me on a rental (I had already paid for 3 ½ weeks of rental while the other awful job (from the other upholsterer) was in the shop. It took them under 2 weeks total and I was without a car for just under 3 days. A beautiful upholstery job, with a warranty, The Taylor couple who owns it are WONDERFUL people and ANDRE who worked on it quite a craftsman. I am so very grateful for the job they did. It is impossible to get parts for old SAAB cars and this car only had 60k miles with a like new exterior and solid workings. THANK YOU to the Taylors and ANDRE.
Description of Work: Auto re-upholstery. Brought in my 2005 SAAB for re-upholstery after another so-called "upholster" had botched the job leaving my car's interior in shreds: front seat and back seat disassembled and parts scattered on the car floor and/or missing. Taylor Upholstery re-rupholstered my car - a BEAUTIFUL job.

Description of Work: The gentleman arrived at my house right on time. He looked at the chair, sat on it and bounced on it and said it still had a lot of life in the cushion. He said he didn't need money bad enough just to take mine and said to call if I ever needed anything else.

Description of Work: Taylor has done 2 jobs for us. The first was reupholstering 4 dining chairs in time for Thanksgiving. They did a superb job, and delivered the chairs sooner than expected. The second job was reupholstering a couch in time for Christmas, after the chairs had been done. Again the work was stellar, and the couch was delivered when expected. I didn't try to give a price, because so much is dependent on the fabrics you choose. We found their prices to be very reasonable, however. I would certainly use them again, and have no hesitation at all in recommending them highly.

+ -1 moreThey were okay. But I would probably try somebody new next time. They took a really long time, longer then expected. There were also some things that were part of the chairs that they didn't do. I would have liked to be asked about them. The chairs were originally tufted, and when I got it back, they weren't tufted.

Description of Work: The upholstering job was beautiful, I couldn't have imagined a better job. The only issue we encountered was a very rude man working there. He said his wife did the upholstery and when I asked about the throw pillows I had ordered he got irate about how hard his wife worked and that I should pay even more than was quoted for the pillows. He was belligerent.
