It went very well. We lost the use of the front door for only a few hours over several days. Mr. Boggs also arranged for the repair of the brick wall on the front of the house. Some of the Azalea bushes were damaged by the construction. Mr. Boggs replaced them immediately, no hassle. I would, definitely, use Structured Results, Inc. for future jobs at our home.
Description of Work: Mr. Boggs repaired our front porch. He also had repaired, numerous large cracks in our walls.

The workmen worked hard and got the job done however, overall, they showed up late each morning and left by or before 5pm each day when there was plenty of daylight to continue to work in order to complete the job in a more timely fashion. The foreman of the company, Rich, met me for 2 minutes and was overall not personable, unorganized, irresponsible, incompetent, unprofessional and could not multi-task. He also lied about me to the owner of the company, saying that I said something that I never said. The owner, Joe Boggs, was going through some personal issues, felt the need to tell me his sob stories whenever he had a chance and all the stuff he had to deal with personally reflected in the way he conducted himself professionally. I originally fired him when he refused to set a start date with me and I re-hired him when he apologized and appeared sincere about wanting my business. I pretty much decided to use him because I didn't want to start over at square one and have to get more estimates. Even though the work was done to my satisfaction, I'm truly sorry I chose to re-hire him. The owner came over after completion to see if he could find out what had transpired between the foreman and myself which ended up with my kicking him out of my house when he continued to interrupt me and not allow me to speak to tell my side of things and he kept denying that I hadn't spoken to him about his men working on certain things when I had spoken to him about those things on numerous occasions, the last time, just 8 hours earlier. After I told him to leave, I had to tell him two more times as he just stood there. I'm not sure if he was refusing to leave or simply shocked that I was kicking him out. The final time I told him to leave my house, I told him it could be handled one of two ways - him leaving on his own or my calling the police and having him removed from my property. He told me that he had never had this kind of experience with a customer before and I told him that I had never dealt with a contractor as unprofessional as him nor had I ever been put in such an uncomfortable situation. Upon him leaving, I told him I would never hire him again nor refer him to anyone. I then text messaged him and told him to not contact me again nor come to my property. I am prepared to file an official harassment complaint with my local police should he ever try to contact me again. During the week the job was being done, when discussing things with him over the phone, he was constantly telling me one thing and telling his foreman another. For instance, he told me the foreman would be one of the workmen on the job when he never worked a second on my house, other than my seeing him for a total of 10 minutes during the first day of the job as he was overseeing what his workers were accomplishing. Another example, on the final day of work, the owner of this business told me that his men would be there early that day and they did not arrive until 10:33am. When I discussed this with him, he responded "That's my workers." as if this was acceptable that his workmen kept a client waiting. As if constantly showing up late on the job was the norm. **** I WILL NEVER HIRE THIS COMPANY AGAIN AND I STRONGLY SUGGEST THAT PEOPLE SHOULD SPEND THEIR HARD-EARNED MONEY ELSEWHERE.**** ** UPDATE **: I received the final bill in the mail nearly a week later with an increase of $600+ for additional work and labor costs. He did not provide me with labor costs in the original estimate, did not go over this extra work and costs in his original estimate nor did he discuss anything with me prior to the work being done. He also wrote in the final bill that I had said that the work was "exceptional and better than brand new" when I had never made such a statement. So now I consider Mr. Boggs to be a thief AND a liar. Who lies about such things and thinks he/she can get away with it? I contacted my lawyer who said I had a case against him but that if I proceeded with a lawsuit, it would cost me more than if I simply just paid it off. The very next day, I put the payment in the mail, and within a few hours Mr. Bogg's lawyer contacted me about the payment. I told him that his client hadn't sent me a bill until the previous day and that I could only move so fast to get the payment to him. I also advised him to remind his client not to contact me again or he would be hearing from my lawyer. His lawyer, who was very apologetic to me for jumping the gun and contacting me because Mr. Boggs neglected to tell him about his delay in sending me the final bill, told me that I would not have any further issues.
