Description of Work: I hired a carpenter (Mathew) for a day. Had three jobs -- fabricate and install some trim, cut down a door and install lattice on a service yard. All three were done professionally and in less time than I would have expected. I would hire them again in a minute.

Description of Work: Requested a Bid on a Sun Deck |I was told they " pro renovations " Would be able to provide at no charge an on-site consultation and written proposal. I even called after not hearing back from the Company. | |( Perhaps they just are not willing to work with me ) . | |Without a response, any reason I conclude is not a positive. | |They were given high marks for the job contracted and performed. | |A job well done. I will go further and explain they would NOT hang |( re-hang ) ceiling fans I had taken down from two of the bedrooms. |I was told an ELECTRICIAN would have to rewire the fans for the 36" down rod I wanted and supplied. |When the wiring extension is available at most D.I.Y. Hardware stores. The on site technician said they would not be able to install those fans. I was left with only one option.... I went and purchased TWO NEW CEILING FANS ( another $300.00 out of pocket ). And still have ceiling fans from remodel of rooms that are not be used. | |My options were lose the $100 from the Angie's List Purchase for the Instalation or get fans they would install. | |Not much of a choice. | |Angie's List does not seem to back up their Satifaction GUARANTEE! | |Somewhere, someone is not listening or choosing to ignore the circumstance's ?? |

Description of Work: Russell Hester did a great job for us - we had a punch list of carpentry and painting items for our home, which we had not been able to find anyone to help us with. Pro Renovations did a day of work under the Angie's List Big Deal, and then worked with us to get an estimate of the additional work. We are really happy with the results, and would use Pro Renovations again in the future.

Description of Work: Russell Hster was great at scheduling all the services I needed to get done on my house. This was a great relief, as I was out of state for much of the work as it progressed. He came up with workable solutions as things popped up. The company did a great job keeping project within budget.

Description of Work: They performed a complete, to the stud, guest bath reno. They showed up promptly, provided quotes, and completed the work in a timely manner.

Description of Work: Full disclosure: they did not do work for me so I cannot comment on their quality but let me explain why I did not select them. I prepared a simple list of about a dozen items to be completed on a home renovation job. I asked for a price on each item, and a subtotal so I could compare competitive bids fairly. What I got back was an incomprehensible series of cost quote sheets printed out from an estimating program. I made a simple request to reformat the bid into my original request bid sheet summarizing price per task (like paint interior, replace bathroom, etc). The following is the email I got in response to the request: I would first of all like to thank you for contacting us about your project and allowing us to provide you with a detailed estimate for the renovation work. Due to our success and our reputation we are fortunately extremely busy right now with existing clients. Therefore, we are not in a position to bid against other contractors at this time. I f you do not find the contractor you are looking for, you can contact us in January and we can do a walk through on site with our current estimate Kind regards Simon Its polite enough but basically pretty arrogant and was a huge red flag for me. If the contractor could not be bothered to provide a simple quote in a requested format because they are so successful and don't want to be compared to other contractors quotes, that told me all I needed to know about this contractor. Imagine if you had an issue with work that was performed on a job what kind of response you would get?

Description of Work: They replaced my damaged cork flooring, which failed prematurely, and replaced it with ceramic tile in my kitchen and hallway.

Description of Work: We had porcelain tile installed throughout the entire house. Old flooring was removed, floors leveled and new tile installed.

Description of Work: I had a major flood in my house that ruined all the wood flooring as well as the kitchen cabinets. Protile prepared an estimate for my insurance company, coordinated with the company that provided the dryers and dehumidifiers and assisted me with every decision. They found flooring similar to the original flooring, negotiated the price and installed the flooring. They also helped me design the new kitchen cabinets and worked with the cabinet makers. I made the decision to make some additional renovations to my house(opening wall between den and kitchen, etc.) for which they provided the services. Two weeks after we moved back into the house it flooded again. Protile once again prepared the estimate for the insurance company, coordinate with the company providing dryers and dehumidifiers, found and negotiated the price for replacement flooring and installed all the flooring.

Description of Work: Pulled out old tile and retiled bathroom (5 x 6). Cleaned the grout in our kitchen (12 x 20).

Description of Work: Came and gave a complete estimate with date work would be completed. They started on time, worked hard and completed installation well. Took just a little longer than planned but with an 850 square foot total amount of laminate installed the additional time, 1/2 day, was understandable. At the end of each day the men cleaned up and left only after house was back to good condition. Total installation took 2 1/2 days. Final bill was for exactly the estimated price. I will use ProTile again for future work.

Description of Work: Caulked a bathroom shower.

Description of Work: Had some water damage to our engineered hardwood floor. The damage was in an outside corner of the room. The area repaired was about 18" x 36". Fortunately, I had boards left over from when it was installed and I provided the glue. Matthew and Tony were the installers. They were on time, clean and professional, and left the room spotless; the repair time was just a few hours.

Description of Work: We had ProTile install our bathroom floor tile and tub surround tile as well as instillation of the Ditra system on the floor and tub. We purchased the tile with Jenkins Tile and Brick, and ProTile was our chosen installers. We quoted out a few different people to tile the bathroom - and their quote was the fair, reasonable and after meeting them, we felt very comfortable.

Description of Work: Price included supply of all materials and tiles, removing old carpets and tiling, preparing the site, laying floor and wall tiles and fixing towel and shower curtain rails. Note that this job was ordered and arranged through Home Depot Bluffton. Paula at Home Depot finalized the order and was extremely helpful and knowledgeable in specifying all the materials
