Most professional, thorough installation I have seen. Original 2 heat pump systems installed by Dean Custom Air contract labor (Carrier) were installed improperly and cheaply, were not sized properly and ductwork was undersized and/or installed poorly. Old Coast corrected some ductwork issues without being paid to do so or prompted. They installed two float cut--off switches per air handler and brought a lot of "extras" to the table. They even wrapped our hot water heater in insulation for no charge (as a surprise). The factory-supplied air handlers (Lennox) had exposed fiberglass insulation inside. The Lead Technician sealed up all of the exposed parts and put in extra insulation retention parts in the fan area to keep the insulation from pulling-in. This extra attention to detail and diligence is rare. I would highly recommend this company and would use them again and again. I bid this work and they were low-bid by a good deal. I believe I received superior service and equipment at a very fair price.

This is one "stand out" HVAC firm, I gotta hand it to them. What was initially an enquiry for an additional return turned out to be a defunct unit that died literally 24 hours before the duct work service call. Jeff Mallet quickly ascertained a $1500 blower part for a 10 year old system with corroding coils would be a mistake. He offered a portable room AC unit while we waited on the installation of a new 15 SEER Lennox system. And we were able to qualify for close to $2k in Ga Power rebates! I highly recommend this HVAC company; ask for Jeff!!

I had a new Lennox heat pump system installed by Old Coast last week. My 13 year old system had a bad leak in the coil that was diagnosed by a friend so when I called Old Coast I had already made the decision to replace the system. I also called three competitors for quotes, one being another Lennox dealer and two other Trane dealers. Chris, my sales rep was by far the most informative and generous with his time during the selection process. I learned more about the efficiency of systems now and what all the mumbo jumbo of multi stage systems, variable speed blowers etc meant. Overall the initial out of pocket cost for Old Coast was middle of the road but factoring in the energy rebates I was expected to qualify for based on some improvements they would make during the installation process that was part of their overall quote and the efficiency of the system I picked I was expected to be able to get at least a $1500 rebate from Georgia Power and possibly up to $2200. I was a little skeptical that that would all come to pass but the independent energy auditor came and did his thing yesterday, verifying the work Old Coast had done and had me change out some CFL and incandescent lightbulbs to LEDs and I'm getting the full $2200 rebate AND a $350 tax credit. After that money is taken into account Old Coast ended up being cheaper than the lowest quote I got from any of the competitors for a significantly lesser system and a lot less labor than they put into resealing all my ductwork and duct connections. This is a no brainer everyone! Their customer service has been phenomenal and I am so happy with my purchase. Not only did I save thousands on my system but I'm going to see a mjor reduction on my power bill for years and years to come. I have already started recommending Old Coast to everyone I know!

My wife and I recently replaced the two hvac systems in our home. After meeting with several local contractors we decided on old coast heating and air conditioning as our contractor. I will be the first to say that they are not the cheapest company to do business with. But after meeting with the installation technicians at the beginning of the project and seeing the end result we feel that we made the best choice for our home and family. Jeff and his company followed through with all the power company rebates and everything they said they would do. If I have a family member or friend in need of heating or air conditioning repair or replacement I will fully recommend old coast heating and air.

Service Tech came to check out the unit but could not locate the problem offered suggestions on what may be wrong but could not pinpoint the issue also informed me he was a new tech on the job. he was a very polite and courteous young man did what he could but I felt he was limited in knowledge due to his length of employment

Excellent service

They were not the least expensive company to do business with, but I took into account the reviews and customer experiences in my decision to hire them. They were very professional and did an excellent job with the installation and clean-up. They had the daunting task of removing almost everything from a storage room in my house and had to rebuild some of the shelving for the unit to fit-and there was no grumbling or complaining about the extra work. Even though I paid a premium, Bryan helped me see how I could replace the 3 heat pumps with 2 larger ones, and eventually save on my energy bills. I'm very pleased with my choice in using Old Coast.

Purchased new HVAC system since the old one had leaky copper coil. New installation included a whole house assessment so we are getting almost $2000 rebate from GA Power.
