Description of Work: Toilet was leaking at base. Response was same day. Plumber replaced seal. leak stopped for awhile, then occurred again. Plumber replace seal again, ran caulk bead around base of toilet...no more leak. They were prompt, courteous, professional, and efficient. This company will henceforth be my plumber of choice.

Description of Work: Mr. Blitch and company found the problem about an hour after arrival. They were called in by the first plumber I notified, because he could not locate the damaged pipe. I highly recommend Mr. Blitch. The plumbing problem occurred in December, 2006.

Description of Work: The plumber was late in responding to my request for service. The work performed was not what was requested. The price charged was outrageous even by plumber price standards. The company president did not respond to my complaint.

Description of Work: Blitch was called to fix an inoperative kitchen faucet.One of his plumbers arrived promptly and determined that the faucet had to be rebuilt Some new innards) When he was done Blitch's plumber presented me with an exhorbitant bill which required immediate payment. I paid the bill and called blitch's office to protest the amount of the charge which was more than twice what it would have cost to simply replace the faucet. Despite several additional calls leavin messages each time with his secretary, Blitch never had the common decency or concern to talk to me. Inquiries to others in the Community generally elicited the response that Blitch was an S.O.B. who regularly overcharged and was arrogantly unresponsive.

 + 0 moreThey came on a holiday and it was fine. Everything was fine and there wasn’t anything bad. They came, they did their job, I paid them, everything was fine, and the toilet worked well. I'm not sure about the price because I don't have anything to compare it to.

 + -1 moreThe plumbing crew showed up within a few hours, found the leak, repaired pipe and refilled the slab. They were professional and knew what they were doing. The only problem was that my husband had to give them a check for the full amount on the spot. The previous job I had them do for me (water heater repair), they billed me for the service. I paid for that service within the month so I was not slow pay.
Description of Work: I had a slab leak and needed emergency service.

 + -1 moreWater was leaking from a drain pipe under the sink that connects to PVC drain. The leak was discovered when water appeared on the floor of the garage.(The building plumber must have mismeasured when installing original plumbing because an opening had been chiseled through the concrete and the wall to give the pipe room to 'fit') I called and John Blitch Plumbing was able to come (July 2008) that day. The problem was identified, fixed, and completed within an hour, which included getting the piece of pipe from a local hardware store.
Description of Work: A leak was found and repaired. A piece of pipe connecting the sink drain to the main drain (nipple) was worn through. The problem was identified and repaired within one hour.
