Bobby responded to our request for a quote promptly. We were given a good price for the job and got on the schedule. The day of the job, the crew showed up first thing in the morning. They took care to cover all shrubs, etc., got the job done in a timely fashion, and were very thorough in cleaning up when the job was done. The only sign that they had been here was our new roof!

On June 30th, I called JCB Roofing to schedule an appointment for someone to come out and have a look at a couple of roof leaks on my house. I was told that an appointment would be scheduled for July 9th at 4 PM. On the 9th, I called JCB at 4:13 PM to confirm that the appointment was still on. I was assured that we were still good for the scheduled appointment, but that the technician was a bit behind schedule for some reason. That day, no one came to my house, nor did anyone give me the courtesy of a phone call to advise what was happening. That’s a completely unacceptable level of service, especially when I took personal leave from work to make myself available for the appointment. I know having a couple leaks fixed isn’t the biggest or most lucrative job, but giving customers the run-around is no way to run a business. The evening of the missed appointment, I emailed Amber at JCB to convey my disappointment with their level of communication and service. As of today, July 14, 2018, I have yet to receive any response from anyone at JCB roofing. As a veteran, I selected JCB Roofing because it’s a veteran-owned business, and I’m sorry to say that I will not be recommending JCB to my neighbors and associates. Then again, I'm not sorry, because they earned my 'F' review.

They are nice people, but I wouldn't use them again. Before I had the house painted, because of Matthew. They have a really good value. Well, they were real messy. They left a quite a bit of debris. They did work, that they didn't have to do. They also did some wood work, that they didn't charge me for. Their pricing was good. They were excellent at that. They were good that way. They did so much, to accommodate us. I would consider them, but I guess I would consider them.

We were impressed with their response to our request for a quote and after looking over three bids, we chose JCB. We have a 3 story historic home, so the job was not an easy one. The JCB crew did an excellent job both on putting on a new roof, but in their clean-up.

They were great! They customer service lady was soo polite. She called me and let me know that they were coming at 0730hrs. I had to be at work that time, but JCB Roofing told me they do not need to go inside so I didn't have to take off from work. They called me at about 3pm and said they were finished. When I got home from work (about 4:45pm), I looked at my new roof and it was awesome. They even cleaned up my yard. There was no debris. I was soo excited and walked around my house looking at my new roof. I would recommend JCB Roofing to anyone in the area that need roof replacement or repair. EXCELLENT!!! Thank you very much JCB. Never done. I called at least 10 times and no one bothered to call me back. . I have used this company before & particularly wanted them to make these repairs. But I won't hire someone who doesn't have the courtesy and professionalism to return calls - even to tell me that there will be a long wait for services.

Very pleased. Excellent service and very knowledgable. Came out and found the problem and fixed it on the spot. Couldn't be happier. I would highly recommend to anyone needing roof work done. They will be the first people I call next time I need anything done.

The contractor failed to live up to his promise of providing services when he said he would.

See above. JCB has not conducted attic inspection of house nor have they replied to property manager regarding my request for deletion of their "hold-harmless" clauses against damage their roofers could cause to AC or water lines located in the attic.

Some delay in getting started but completed job swiftly once underway and am pleased with the look and performance. Only problem was workers didn't do a very good job getting up all the nails and screws from around the house. Still, I think JCB is a standout among contractors from whom I've obtained services.

On initial contact TJ was responsive in inspecting the roof and assessing problem areas with the old roof and what different roofing was needed to cover the house as well as the flat roof patio area. He was thorough in explaining the process JCB would employ . The crew arrived as scheduled and worked as a tight team in removing the old roof, getting rid of debris and installing the new roof in one day. As the roof covers an approximate 4000 sq ft house we were surprised they finished the roof in one day as scheduled. They returned the next day to install the flat roof on the covered patio area. All work was professional and the crew polite and were careful to work around shrubs and our coming and going. Before and during the installation TJ was available for our questions . He stopped by during and after the roof installation to assess the crew progress and to see if we were satisfied or had any concerns. We also appreciated JCB's flexibility in our changing the roof shingle color selection 2 times before the installation date the last change only 2 days before installation.

They could have paid more attention to the nails along the edge of the roof; they stick out a little bit.

The crew arrived promptly at 7am and started immediately removing the old shingles and felt. I was offered a different color for the architectural shingles than I had originally selected which I was happy to switch to since it was a lighter color. The work crew were professional and quick--the new roof was in place by 2pm. I selected JCB Roofing due to the comprehensive and detailed estimate that they provided me. I love my new roof. It looks fantastic. I would definitely recommend JCB Roofing to anyone needing a new roof. The final plus was the 5% discount for belonging to Angie's List. The cost of the roof without the discount was $4,790.00
