HUTTON'S LANDSCAPES

At first, the lawn service was excellent. After about a year, however, they stopped trimming our bushes, consistently blew a substantial portion of the fallen leaves in our yard into our crawlspace, and would pile up fallen branches next to our house instead of draggin them to the alley. We cancelled our lawn service and notified Hutton of our complaints, but received no response whatsoever. Switched to Savannah Eco Mowing, which is cheaper and higher quality, and couldn't be happier. We had additional problems with a sump pump installation we paid $1700 or so for Hutton to do. The work was so poor a 2nd team had to come out and redo the sump pump installation from scratch.

Area cleared and dug out previous to estimate. Company did not send representative for cost, went according to our specifications. Confusion regarding estimate. We wanted area 24 x 17 for patio, area dug out for 24 x 17. Apparently they said we stated area 12 x 17, gave estimate for 12 x 17. When crew came to lay forms we contacted Matt who stated that estimate was for 12 X 17. Informed me that they had dropped the ball on this job because it was too small and that they should never have agreed to do the job. The cost doubled for the 24 x 17 patio so we went with the 12 x 17 patio. Matt also stated he would landscape the already cut area with their landscaping for a mere $100.00 extra. 1)Estimate on June 9, 2008. 2) Actual concrete poured third week of June. 3) Forms have not been removed. We have called to request someone come out to remove them. They were to have come week of July 12, 2008. No response. 4) Called to cancel decorative border due to poor work ethic and lack of communication with us. Received invoice for payment, job not complete. New invoice mailed for just concrete, received 7/17/08. Job still not complete.
