Arrived late, when longer electric drain line; the options unfolded based on price.

The person you sent did not know what he was doing. I had to call another plumber who solved the problem in less than the 15 minutes for 200.oo dollars.

Worst experience ever. Was assigned to them by our home warranty. They made us wait over 6 hours because the dispatcher "was busy organizing a baby shower".... then the plumber who finally shows up had no clue what he was doing, was quick to misdiagnose, didn't even bother trying to look for the problem. He then made a HUGE mess and flooded our entire laundry room, ruined our flooring and when asked to clean it up he sped away in his truck. Literally. Completely crazy experience. Stay away from this company. Their office didn't even have the decency to apologize or even call us back when we reported it.

I had a leaking hot water tank. The plumber I was assigned through my Home Warranty company told me that they could not relocate the hot water tank in any place other than in my master suite closet. This was needed because the current hot water tank was located in the attic. The hot water tank was installed and the home was built around it. The attic access opening was 20.5 inches and the hot water tank is 23 inches wide so the tank couldn't be removed. Because of the HVAC duct work, we couldn't put another tank in the same spot. Brilliant builder design! I would have to pay extra for the relocation, which is to be expected, but I would have to find an electrician to run the wires for this relocation. I understand that their hands were tied because of the home warranty contract but finding an electrician and getting their schedules to match up would take some time that I didn't want to waste. The tank was leaking from the bottom. I didn't want 50 gallons of hot water pouring through the ceiling should it fail. So I looked at other alternatives. I decided to call other plumbers for a 2nd opinion. I called Guy Boyd Plumbing on Wednesday late afternoon. On Thursday morning, Guy called me and asked what help I needed and to gather some initial information. Later that afternoon, Guy came over to my house to see the current set up and provided some options. After discussing options and costs associated with each option, we settled on relocating the hot water tank into a closet on the main floor. This was the most expensive option, but made the most sense. He provided his professional insight on the pros and cons of each option and answered every single question I had. He was very pleasant to deal with, very polite, and professional. The quote was exactly what we were charged. He stated he didn't think he could get to us the next day due to the corona virus situation and that it was 3pm in the afternoon on Thursday. Friday morning, we received a call asking if we could be available to have the hot water tank installed. The crew was polite and professional as well and had the hot water tank relocated and installed in less than 2 hours. I would highly recommend Guy Boyd Plumbing for any plumbing job based on my experience with the services provided. Excellent job, quick replies, and 1 very satisfied customer.

Three different appointment times were set for this company with no work being done. The first time a service man arrived said he needed a drop cord, left and never returned. No work whatsoever was done. Two more appointment times were set, there was no shows/no communication. The company charged and received money for a completed job with our warranty company! We had to inform the warranty company we needed a different plumber.

Pretty amazing really. Our appointment was set within minutes of registering on Angie's List. Nick arrived within the time window, was professional, friendly, patient, and efficient. I was happy to pay the reasonable hourly fee. I didn't feel like a first-time customer, I felt invited to be part of the Guy Boyd Family. We have our next project planned. It's so good to feel safe, confident and pleased with the service and care we received.

It went fantastic. This organization is highly professional. They keep in contact with you. They work until the job is done. They answer your questions thoroughly. I would use them again in a heartbeat.

Plumbers arrived on the next business day early in the morning with necessary parts to fix or replace faucet. They completed work quickly. And they both had a pleasant attitude. Nice team.

It was a swampy mess in my yard. The city denied that it was on their end. Guy Boyd plumbing came out and assessed it very quickly and gave me a good price. Saturday was a monsoon and he couldn’t get the repair that day but they worked all day Sunday to get me back in business and the city was the big issue! I’m happy with the results.

I called and they came out the same day. Nolan was fast, efficient, and told me what he was doing!

The employees showed up in a timely fashion. They worked professionally and problem solved until the work was done to my satisfaction. The price was a little higher than quoted. The job cost $200.00 when the quote was $120.00 so that dropped them from an A to a B on price. They employees were here for approximately an hour or maybe a bit less. Overall I am satisfied with their work.

We had a leak with our garbage disposal. I had hoped it could be repaired but ran out to Lowes to pick up a new disposal for $129 just in case it could not. At the time, I noticed a sign that said Lowes would install the disposal for $179. I called Boyd and they agreed to send someone out the next day. His arrival was timely and he was very professional. He advised that the disposal could not be repaired and would need to be replaced. When I brought out the 1 I had purchased he said it was for commercial & to install it he would have to change out the sink but that he had 1 in his truck. He produced the same brand, 1/4 hp less which sells at Lowes for $114 and quickly, professionally installed it. He advised me that the cost for service was $300 and to write my email on the check for a rec't. That was March 5. Finally on March 16, after numerous phone calls I rec'd a rec't for $350 and not itemized as had been requested.

This company is super responsive and send professionals in a timely fashion. Everything was positive about our experience with them.

He never showed up after scheduling.

Scheduled an apppointment from 1-5 on weekday - took time off to meet tech and no one showed or called. Called next day, they appologized and told me they would call back and never did. What a waste of time and lack of professionalism.

After calling them (first time doing business, no appointment made prior to my initial phone call) they were at my house within two hours - which was at 8PM at night. Not only did they fix the problem quickly but also quietly (my kids were asleep in the next room). Price seemed fair.

Professional, efficient, knowledgeable and gentleman. Would use again, great company and workers!
