Description of Work: Engergy audit. It was not comprehensive since they were not sure if my insulation in my attic contained asbestos.

 + -1 moreWe were experiencing high utility bills and cold spots in our home. We heard from a friend about having an energy audit done on our home, and Green Renewables came highly recommended. The auditor arrived 5 minutes early and he was very professional. The audit itself was very thorough and lasted about 4 hours. The auditor was also clearly experienced and knowledgeable. The extensive report was received in less than a week. There were lots of photos and explanations of how and why our home was losing energy, with step-by-step instructions on how to correct these issues and an energy payback period for each improvement. They were very honest and genuinely interested in helping us save energy/money, and showed us exactly what we could fix ourselves, and what would be best to have professionally done. Overall, we are very happy and would have no hesitation recommending Green Renewables to our neighbors, friends, and family.
Description of Work: Green Renewables performed a comprehensive energy audit on our home, which included an HVAC performance check. During the audit, a blower door was used to check how leaky the home was, a thermal imaging camera to identify where we were losing energy, and a pressure pan to check how leaky our ducts were, among other tests.During the HVAC performance check, they used CO and gas leak detectors to test our furnace and water heater.

Description of Work: Green Renewables completed a comprehensive energy audit and then completed all work necessary to correct all energy conservation deficiencies identified in the audit. They gave us simple step-by-step instructions on how to apply for all relevant rebates which saved us around $4,000.00. There work will save us over $800.00 per year in future energy costs.
