+ 1 moreI was told it would be a three day job so I took vacation from work to be home while the work was going on. On day one no one showed up so I waited two hours and called. I was told there was a scheduling mix up and they would try to come in the afternoon so I waited for a few more hours. When I called back I was told that they would just come the next day and they would now be able to get it all done in two days. Great, but I had already wasted a day waiting. Six months after the work was done, part of the irrigation system broke. I sent an email to JD (owner) and was told that they were busy but to shut off the system and they would contact me in a few days to schedule a time to fix it. I emailed three times after that and JD never bothered to respond.
Description of Work: Designed and installed backyard landscaping, including plants, trees, sod and irrigation.

+ -1 moreOnce the permits were issued it seem that the rain would not let up. JD and his crew were able to work around the weather and made it happen. Large trucks bringing dirt, 18 total, the last load broke a part of our concrete driveway. No problem in having it repaired.
Description of Work: Cleared out brush at rear of property. Installed a retaining wall and back filled with good quality dirt. Installed centipede sod.

+ -1 moreIt worked out great. They were on time, gave me a very detailed plan of what they were going to do including a computer generated picture of what it would look like after the job and they stuffed the budget. I would use them again in the future.
Description of Work: I used DLG Land Management Incorporated for irrigation, tree service, yard separation, bush service and re-working planting beds.

+ -1 moreI started a fairly large patio project and got over my head. DGL came out and and quot;rescuedand quot; the project. They listen to what we had envisioned and then brought in a very talented and profession team that completed a great patio. Their attention to detail was excellent. I will definitely use them again when we start our other larger landscaping projects.
Description of Work: Level, compact, lay sand and level, and lay pavers, construct small retaining wall and cap with top. Area approximately 12' x 20'

+ 1 moreWe love Stella, and we are so glad we found DLG. We plan to continue to the next phase of the design with them.
Description of Work: Stella Matthews came to our home to help us prepare an area for a new playset we purchased for our children. Our back yard is a total downward slope with very little level ground. We decided to hire her to create a design for our entire backyard and incorporate the playset design in it. She took very thorough measurements, and I was so impressed that she returned to our home a few times to double-check measurements and fence heights. When my husband and I met with her to take a look at her design, we were totally thrilled. She had listened to us describe the things we love; entertaining, fairy tales, organic gardening . . . and incorporated all of that into the design. The design was divided into phases, phase 1 being our playground area. Stella hired fantastic contractors to come and level a space for the new playset, and they built a beautiful retaining wall at the bottom of that level area. They put fresh sod down around the area, and made it completely ready. There were no surprises. The work was delayed because of bad weather, but Stella's communication with us was excellent.
