COMPASS DESIGN 7 MANAGEMENT

Description of Work: I only met with this contractor, and although I found him pleasant for the first meeting, his lack of communication then inappropriate email soured the relationship. I scanned and emailed him all of the plans, including his request for the home inspection and blueprints(which I went out of my way to provide). I was upfront with all of the contractors that I met that I was meeting several contractors, and comparing bids. I did not hear back from John for several weeks, did not have the impression that he was working on my bid, and when I emailed him to say that I was changing the location of a kitchenette because of water access issues (no quotes had been given yet, and again, I had not heard from him) he basically said he had been working really h****** it (even though I never heard from him or saw any plans) that I he would not provide me a bid because he did not want me to waste his or his subs' time (to my knowledge, even though he had a key, in 3 weeks he did not take any subs over to show them the house) and he said the other contractors were "leading me in another direction". It was rude, accusational, and manipulative. I was frankly shocked because he was so positive and nice at the meeting. I have a hunch he overbooked himself and then made it about me. I even had to wait for him to mail my key back(out of state) because he wouldn't meet me to give it back in person, while I was in town!

Description of Work: They re-did my floors, painted, created a window in-between my kitchen and living room. He also re-did my French iron gate doors and installed my flat screen TV over my fireplace.
