I have always had to take everything to them and they do not respond to anything. They are great when you get there sooner. They take care of you. I would use them again because I do not have much choice.

Went well AFTER I got them to send a technician, original technician installed my wireless modem in a front corner office of a 3600 square foot home. When I challenged putting it there he said.. "Only place I can put it." I requested it be put in our family room with vaulted ceilings and he barely acknowledged my request. After he left... Exactly as I knew it was going to be, barely a connection in any room except for the office... Less than 1 mbps speeds throughout the house. I called Comcast to send a technician back out and they ran me around to different people doing everything they could to not send someone out. I finally requested they just send someone back out to pick everything up and just cancel my service, they transferred me to set up an appointment. They then had the audacity to ask if I would agree to a $45 service call fee.... Unreal. Again we went through the just come and get everything and they set it up for free. New technician was fantastic, did his due diligence, went into my attic and moved it to where it should have been to begin with.... Overall, been satisfied with the Internet service, although it still has times it is less than what I would expect for what I am paying. Cable is top shelf, very happy with it in every room in the house. Original technician was a contractor and not a Comcast employee, the second technician was a Comcast employee and was fantastic.
Description of Work: Moved my initially installed modem to a more central place in my new home.

For internet service we have Comcast and we have internet and cable. We have with them for ever since moved in here. It is the only available the last time we checked except for one of the generic services like dish tv and that kind of stuff and I really don't know how that works. We have had some issues they usually have taken care of the issues in a timely manner. Sometimes it is hard to get a hold off them, but from nightmare stories I have heard other places I don't think what we experience is too bad. It is not great, they are okay. The quality most channels are fine one night that got snowey but most of them are fine. We have had some technical issues and they have responded timely, but I know that we just had an issue we were going on for several months over the winter when he came back we had a problem getting our service back because we had it on a snowbird plan my husband said he was on the phone for an hour. Couple of times I have talked to them on phone when our cable was down they had been very good and very professional.

My appointment was between 8 and 10 am. They called me to tell me they would be there at 10. I waited to 10:32 to have them call them to cancel the appointment. They did not care and tried not to pay me for the lost time of $20 for being late. They consistently do not schedules and do not seem to care very much. If I had another choice Comcast would not be a choice at all.
Description of Work: Comcast was supposed to be here to install new equipment.

I called the company May 15, 2013 to suspend my service for 3 months since I would be across seas for international studies. I came home in August, and upon trying to restore service I found that the service was never suspended. Customer service tried to get me to pay for 3 months of service plus the upcoming month because my account was actually about to be turned over to collections. After 2 days and speaking to 7 different agents and supervisors, they finally credited my account and I only paid the $15 for the 3 months and the fee for the new billing period. I honestly hate comcast's prices and customer service, however because I have several trees in my yard that would have to be cut down to use direct tv, it's the only choice I have for cable service.

I swapped out a DVR cable box that I was not using for a lower-priced basic one. It was easy to exchange. And they set me up over the phone with voice prompting which was very effective.
