I believe you've got it, from start to finish, in the chapter listed above! Hope this helps others : and gt; }
Description of Work: WE have a detached workshop that is my husband's "man Cave." Apparently, when the previous owners installed a small heat/.AC unit (along with a unfinished bathroom and small hot H2O heater), they F O R G O T the third wire to G O U N D the unit. This is a true story! Anyway, it took several calls to even get Braddy Electric to even come to the house. We live in Midtown, not like we're in Hinesville or something. When the fellow DID arrive, he was very courteous, apologetic and knowledgeable. HOWEVER, to fix the grounding issue, a trench would have to be dug, from the workshop to the main electrical panel of the house, to REMOVE the old PVC that encloses the present electrical wires underground. The "third or ground wire" would then be placed in new PVC tubing with the other two wires. OK, sounds simple enough. It's only about 20 feet (I'm guesstimating) of digging/tubing. HOWEVER, although it IS an electrical problem, the digging of the superficial ditch to get to the old wiring is NOT electrical. In other words, Braddy does NOT do digging. Neither my husband nor I can dig, due to back issues. We obviously offered to add this labor to the electrical cost, but NO WAY. So..... to date the AC and Heat cannot be turned on, due to safety reasons. If your issue Isn't like this, still be prepared to wait your turn for an appointment. They said they're ALWAYS very busy... what's wrong with Savannah not having oodles of electricians to choose from? We had another electrician who was subcontracted to assist in the electrical components of building a 4 seasons sun-room. He was undependable, multi-tasking other jobs out the wazoo and was slow. Again, I just don't get why a beautiful city like Savannah can't get or hold licensed, qualified, professional, honest, trustworthy tradesman like electricians. It's the same with plumbers, dry-wall hangers, appliance repairman etc,. etc,. and so forth! WOW! looks like I needed to ventilate, eh? You asked for my experience and opinion and you got it, Toyota!
