I found Mr. Barbee on Angie's List and called him on Monday. I was busy on Tuesday, so I asked if he could come out on Wednesday. He said he would call me Wednesday morning and tell me what time he'd be here. Mr. Barbee called in the morning as promised, and then he and his assistant Brian arrived when they said they would. After I explained the problems, they got right to work and checked out everything that could possibly be the cause. Before long, they had located the problem and resolved it. I had expected a high cost for this job, but it turned out to be something relatively easy to take care of. Since I live on a barrier island about 25 miles from Savannah, there is always a higher charge for travel time from every company I call. So when the charge was only $150 for the entire job, I was very pleased and relieved. I told Mr. Barbee he is number one on my list to call for help if I have any more electrical short-circuits, etc. He and Brian were courteous, punctual, pleasant, professional, and overall two excellent people. Their work was top notch and very fast. It was a joy to find a company who does such a good job. Thank you, Angie's List. You have one happy member here!

Great, He showed up as promised on time(not the case for most in Savannah) at first said what all the other electricians had said, later that day he called me back and said that he had a lead and that maybe able to fix it. Called me later, all was well and he had tracked down the company and he would be able to fix it. Hurray!!

The guys from Barbee were great. They came in on time and went right to work. We have a very friendly dog, and unlike some other service providers, they were great with him (he wasn't an annoyance). The previous owner of our house had some shoddy work done, which they discovered while working on our motion sensor (a fan in our living room kept going on and off for no apparent reason). They took time to explain the problem before fixing it. They were great about explaining the bill and cleaned up some dust that accumulated.

Excellent and timely service. 75$/hour was price quoted to me. The only possible drawback was that the company does not provide estimates for small residential jobs. However, Mr. Barbee performed the job quickly and limited my costs. I will use the company again.

Prompt and professional. Provided estimated and stayed on budget. Provided service in the time frame suggested. Excellent quality of work.
