Excellent and fast work from friendly team!

They're very good. They found what the problem was and knew it was still under warranty so they handled the warranty issue. They got the part and installed it. They explained what was going on and what was in involved.

They have maintaining our system for 3-4 years now. We have been using them for years. It was done on time. It was done well. I didn't have to call them back. They showed up with the right tools, and it didn't take long to do the job. The repairs have lasted and didn't require a second trip. They are outstanding. They couldn't be better. We have recommended them several times. They are extremely reasonable. They are fast, and come out when you call them. There is nothing bad about this company.

When you find a company like this, you stay with them. We had been through other providers that didn't do quality work, prices was over the moon, never on time, and we were never impressed. These folks had a office here on the island. We had heard good things from neighbors about them. We called them, they showed up, and did their job.

They are awesome! Always friendly and helpful! They are a family business who really seems to care about the work they do. They try their absolute best to give you quality work for a great price! They saved us from AAction Air 2 weeks after we bought our house and the HVAC leaked everywhere! They fixed the problem and contacted out home warranty company to cover part of the cost. We paid about $60 when AAction Air wanted to charge us $800 just to clean the unit! All our annual services keep the unit running well and they explain everything so clearly!

We had another provider diagnose the issue but were very uncomfortable. After checking Angie's List, we verified that Air Mechanix was one of their providers and asked to use them. They were great and we plan to use them for all HVAC needs going forward.

They were pretty good. What stood out was their professionalism and knowledge on what they did as well as their ability to explain it to the customer. I would recommend them.

We had many problems with( the apparant construction of a new home. Problems that were overlooked by our other hvac service. Over a period of years the problems were appearing & in spite of the service we had formally contracted with, those problems were either never discovered or ignored ,After a while those problems surfaced in ways that were difficult to understand. Using Angies List we found Air Mechanix, Tony, Garrett & Justin came to our house went through carefully & listened to our concerns. They diligently metered analyzed and began to correct the problem. This took many days of discovery of trial & repair. They also recommended a responsible & fair insulating company for us when they found a massive amount of non insulated areas. Slowly we are recovering due to Garretts research,suggestions & implementing & installing. We had several companies in with tests etc. at great cost, & appraisals.& we were leary of more hvac unknowns, so in trusting & seeing results as well as Garrett pointing out the target problems ( in one situation Garrett repaired a part that he noticed while he was investigating a nearby ) That small fault would have been amajor problem in a short time & unknown to us. He noticed it & then fixed it,as a kindness to us, We cannot say enough good words for Garrett,Tony (his experience in furnace & a/c) shows in so many ways. Garrett has that same infor as well as the newer (hvac) available products, A great combo for us. Every one in that family is kind,polite,& concerned about their customers (like us) Thank You

Bought a new home and wanted to check our heat pump. The techs that came installed the unit originally eight months ago and gave us a lot of background and answer our questions. (We had a gas furnace in our previous home out-of-sate.) Very knowledgeable and professional. I gave them a B on punctuality just because they were running 1-hour late due to an early morning emergency call.

I have been using their services for about ten months. Their prices are less than the company I was previously using. They are punctual, complete the work quickly, and don't try to up sale. They have been very good.

The only problem we had was the minimum cost. It was $85 for labor and the part was $62.50. They were up front about the costs, however. There were no surprises but I thought the labor charge was a little high. The repairman was professional, knowledgeable, and efficient. He had the part in the van so we didn't have to wait for it to be ordered and it took only 30 minutes to complete the repair. The company worked with us to set up an appropriate appointment around our difficult schedule. All in all, the company was great to work with!

We rent and there is a warranty through Republic....they called Air Mechanix. They called back the next day and could not come for another day..which meant we'd been without AC for 3 days now and it's 85 inside the house. The Tech did come and said the fan was broken....he took it to get a part and said he "might" be back at the end of the day. We called around 2 to the office to ask if they got the part yet. They informed us that the warranty company had not approved replacement yet..that they sent an email and was waiting for a reply. When we asked if they could call the warranty company to speed up the process they refused. Then they got disrespectful and told us they didn't have to do anything and we could now wait until monday. Then they called our reality company we rent through and said they refuse to come back to our house. Yet they still have our part. We have now gotten reassigned to a different company and our reality company will NOT ever use Air mechanix again !!! They are rude and that includes the owner who was very crude to my husband. They get all F's in our book.

We currently have a home warranty through Republic. We called the warranty company this morning around 8 AM as the temperature in the house felt warmer and found warm air coming from the vents. Republic said they were referring us to another company that had been to our house twice before (through Republic) with less than satisfying results. We asked for another company and they referred us to Air Mechanix. Within an hour Air Mechanix called us to set up a time for the service call. We received a call shortly thereafter telling us a technician is on the way. The tech, Justin, arrived in a marked truck and identified himself before entering. He was EXTREMELY polite and efficient. After inspecting the airhandler in the attic and the compressor outside, he immediately identified the problem and performed the repair. We had a fully functioning A/C system before noon. We will use Air Mechanix next spring for our annual system checkup. Thoroughly, satisfied! We paid the deductible as required by the home warranty company therefore I cannot grade on price but, service was impeccable.

Our air conditioner went out on the 4rd of July when our family was in town. We had 9 miserable people sweating to death...... When I called for emergency service, I was told that it would be more expensive since it was the holiday and if I could wait one more day, it would be cheaper since it would be the weekend rate. We were so hot, I told them to come out that day. They arrived within a short time, quickly fixed the problem, and also gave us some advice to help make our system more efficient. We will be using them again.

I feel like I was taken advantage of. The charge of $85 for this small fix was unreasonable. For this amount, and to make customers like me feel better, the techs could have cleaned out the grates of the outside units or SOMETHING that would warrant the exhorbitant charge. I didn't know what was wrong with the unit, but next time I'll do some research before calling Air Mechanix. Better yet, I might try another A/C company and get confirmation up front about minimum charges, requesting that the hourly rate being charged equate to an hour's worth of work.

Small family knowledgeable reliable company. Nan in the office is always very cordial, helpful, and fun to talk with. Yearly inspections and any service performed is always done by Justin and/or Garrett, so they know me and my 4 systems, and what's been done previously. They schedule, they show up, they teach me. They coordinate very well with Old Republic Home Warranty for the big repairs, like new compressor. They have re-done other providers' incorrect work. They are the best service company I've ever dealt with in Savannah!

They were on time and did their complete inspection thoroughly. They are professional,friendly, and mannerly and their fees are competitive and fair. What more can you ask.

They came on time and stayed until the job was done. The work was a little complicated as they had to mount the new unit on the fireplace which used to be the outside of the house. They took away the old unit and their new unit is so quiet you can't hear it from two feet away.

The outdoor portion of our A/C system (Heat Pump) was making a horrible racket. I thought sure it was going to be the pump which would have been expensive to replace. But, even after I suggested as much, they pointed out that it was only the fan motor, and provided me with alternatives for replacement too. There were two service technicians who made the service call. They were very knowledgeable about my particular A/C brand and the typical issues that were particular to the brand. Overall, I thought they were prompt, professional, skilled and knowledgeable about their services. I would hire them again.

We were very pleased with Air Mechanix. This is a reliable, friendly, family-run business. They were able to schedule us for next-day service so we would not be without heat because our gas was turned off by the gas company for not having a sediment trap. They explained everything in detail and were very patient & friendly. I felt like we were given honest information about our overall system and freon leak, etc. They charge by the hour for labor and then add on any parts to the overall amount due. I felt like they worked efficiently and did not try to drag things out to run up the bill. The next time I need a HVAC I will call them again.

The first folks we call when we have a heating and Air. They seem honest and do not over charge. They explain things well. They stay busy so you might have to wait on them.

Air Mechanix came out to review an HVAC unit at new home before we bought it. Garrett Hite and his team found a critical issue that could have caused harm to the people in the home and possibly saved them from a gas leak! They are thorough, fair and punctual.
