AERUS ELECTROLUX

When I initially took the vacuum to the store, they charged me full price for repair and parts. I thought this was unusual, because usually a reputable business will charge after after the repair is complete. Anyway, a two week job took over 2 months before I picked up the vacuum. In the interim, I complained to the parent company in Dallas, Texas. After I complained, the local store owner called me and said they were having trouble getting parts, and for my inconvenience, he would give me a credit on the charge. When I finally picked up the vacuum, he did not remember saying he would give me a credit. Instead, he said he would give me some free vacuum bags. I took the vacuum and left. Then a week later when I went to use the vacuum, I had the same problem that I had initially. Today, I plan on calling the parent company in Dallas, Texas. I will see if they will help me get my money back. I will keep Angie's list posted on this progress. In the meantime, I would stay away from Aerus Electrolux in Savannah, GA. They are located on 7302 Abercorn Street.

The men that came to the house for service smelled of smoke so badly. Even after they left, I could still smell smoke in my house. They rescheduled too many times for me. I had paid for a brand new vacuum and they gave me a refurbished one, so I demanded that they bring one out new vacuum that was with a true heppa filter because the refurbished one had a carbon filter, not heppa. When they brought it, I finally had to hold the refurbished one as kind of hostage until I had all the items for which I had paid. I don't like having to demand that I get the product for which I have paid. It is a long story but I will not use them again. Aerus products are life long, but the Savannah, GA store is shady.
