Also, they are so great with our two dogs which makes a big difference considering they are in the house along with them while they clean. Initial deep clean was worth the expense. They literally cleaned it from top to bottom - moving everything to get it dusted & rid of dog hair. Since then, we have them visit twice a month for cleaning and it's been a major help to our hectic lifestyle. Beyond their great cleaning work, I also enjoy them as people and totally trust them in our house. Can't say enough good things about their service!

Kelly and Kathy have been cleaning our house weekly for over a year and a half. They have yet to disappoint! They are punctual, professional, and cheerful...they even love our dogs. They are the best cleaning service we have ever had in over 30 years of trial and mostly errors. They understand the definition of "clean." Unlike other companies, they consistently maintain the high standard they showed on their first deep clean. Often times, I ask for an "extra" and it is welcomed enthusiastically. They have also helped organize our garage and when the weather cools we will tackle the attic. Without hesitation, I recommend these two ladies and know they will exceed your expectations.

Kelly and Kathy have been cleaning my home for more than 1.5 years. Both ladies are very friendly and more than willing to tackle any extra odd task I might request in addition to their normal cleaning. They are thorough, efficient, and unobtrusive. I work from home, typically on conference calls, and no one on those calls is any wiser that my house is currently being thoroughly cleaned. I do not have the time, or energy, to get the house as clean as the 2 Girls do - they are worth every penny! Kelly and Kathy are professional and do a great job. I have recommended them to other friends who now use their services too.

Kathy and her crew did a deep clean of our house after our ceiling collapsed. Despite the fact that one if girls was allergic to cats, and we have 2, they pushed through and did a wonderful job. They came on short notice at the end if the day after a full day of helping other homeowners. Highly recommended.

Written on behalf of my parents, who do not have a computer. My parents have always taken deep pride in maintaining their home. In sixty-one years of marriage, Mom had never hired a cleaning service, always preferring to do the work to her own high standards - that is, until prolonged illness, a hospital stay and required rest at home forced her to admit she could no longer do everything herself. During my recent visit to their home in The Landings in Savannah, we discussed cleaning services but weren't sure where to start the search. I consulted Angie's List, simply added the Savannah subscription to my existing one in North Carolina, and began to research service providers. I was very impressed by the reviews for Two Girls Trying to Make a Buck. When I contacted them to inquire about their services, they were able to come over the same day to meet my parents, see the house, and give an estimate for cleaning. In addition to being very professional and clearly capable, Kelly and Kathy also expressed willingness to help with small projects that might arise -- organizing the garage or closets, power washing outdoors, gardening tasks, etc. My parents felt very confident that they would do a good job and immediately arranged for them to return the following week for a deep cleaning of the house. Ladder and equipment in hand, after 4-1/2 to 5 hours, Two Girls had cleaned and dusted virtually every surface, including door jambs, ceiling fans, light fixtures, kitchen cabinetry, etc. While this initial clean cost more than I expected, the thoroughness and attention to detail made it a good value, and the weekly fee is substantially less. Now, about two months later, Kelly and Kathy come weekly. Kelly's state-of-the-art vacuum cleaner is as silent as a whisper. Kathy scrubs the porcelain and tiles in the bathrooms to a brilliant shine. Their cleaning products leave a very light, pleasant scent-- (even to my sensitive nose.) They are polite and unobtrusive as they work, while friendly and attentive to my parents. From my perspective, living at a distance, it makes me feel good that Mom and Dad have a competent and trustworthy cleaning team who are also willing to do a bit more around the house when I can't be there to help. I know that for some odd jobs that arise, they can turn to Kelly and Kathy instead of experiencing the inconvenience and delays of finding multiple service providers for miscellaneous chores. (For example, next week, Two Girls will wash the exterior windows.) Most important, Mom has been relieved of many exhausting chores, and is able to get the rest she needs for her health. My parents heartily recommend Two Girls Trying to Make a Buck and feel they are deserving of every success as a business and as lovely people. For that reason, it is also their pleasure to nominate them for a POH award.

They were very professional and did a great job!!!!

The clean out was fairly quick and easy. The organizing of the remaining articles in the garage (this included packaging and storing materials in the attic). They arrived on time the only day they worked, also were punctual for the initial bid appointment. When they arrived to work had the necessary materials and seemed to have a clear idea of what they wanted to do and did it.

Phenomenal. Sparkling clean. Loved the work. Super clean with attention to detail. Everything was covered. Not to mention they came out on a Sunday after church, with 2 days notice. They worked very hard and it showed. Numerous people commented on the quality of the work. It is always a gamble, living out of state and coordinating things via phone. The price was a little higher than a couple "corporate" services. but the corporate services NEVER did a clean like this. I was told by two different companies that they do not wipe down baseboards, "we only dust them" Well, my baseboards are very clean now, and they were wiped and scrubbed. These ladies are Worth every penny. I am very happy with their work, and they will be my go to in the future.

I don't have time to do a lot more than pick up and do laundry and dishes. They came in and did all the rest. They did very well, and were very fast.

They are fantastic. They are absolutely wonderful. They come out every two weeks. They are members of our family now. I cook for them when they come. They clean the house every two weeks. I make sure they go home with a meal. I have given them flowers and plants from my yard. They even watch for my dogs when I go on vacation. They are wonderful people. They are super. They use all good green chemicals and the house smells wonderfully. They use all their own materials. They are great people. They always show up on time. If they have to change something they call ahead of time.

I have nothing but good things to say about them. I was happy in every way with their service and the work that they did. The price was very reasonable and there were no surprises. I will definitely be hiring these folks again.

I lost my housekeeper over three months ago and while it's just the dog and me, the place was in need of a serious cleaning. Based on Angie's List reviews, I contacted Kathy and we made plans for a date for service. Kathy, Kelly and Tim arrived promptly with everything they needed to get the job done - all cleaning products, rags, tools, garbage bags, mops, buckets (no lousy Swiffers here!) vacuum cleaners (they have two and you can barely hear them when they're operating) dusters and brooms. I have an office in my home which is centrally located in the house. They were so quiet, I got up three times during the day to make sure they were still here!! No chatter, no cell phones, no music - just concentrated cleaning. I've tried the big housecleaning companies, some friends of friends and I've never seen anything like it!! I have a major case of OCD and these ladies punched all the right buttons. Everything was visibly cleaner - my kitchen which is all white looked like it had been freshly painted! My ceiling fans looked brand new! The toilets looked brand new! I have a LOT of tchotchkes and they took great pains to reposition everything after cleaning. Just a very few were not exactly where I had them, but they were darned close! With other housekeepers I've had to reposition literally everything after they leave. They arrived a little after 9am and left close to 6pm!! A clean house makes me happy and the team from 2 Girls Trying to Make a Buck made very sure I was happy! As they were leaving, Kelly told me to call if there was anything they missed and they'd come back to take care of it!! WOW! Cleaning service was fair. I needed someone in a pinch and the girls were polite but not thorough. Left polish can and keys on dining room table..Had to mention they would scratch...Had to have them polish refrigerator front again as they left it all cloudy...Very cooperate and pleasant in doing this job and others but did not seem well trained.

Did an excellent job cleaning a big house left pretty messy by the previous owners move-out.

It's been great. Will continue to use their services.

WONDERFUL! Will never be without them again! The deep cleaning got every nook and cranny, every vertical and horizontal surface; windows, baseboards, ceiling fans, ledges, crevices, cabinet surfaces, complete detailing in the bathroom - fixtures, faucets, "the bowl", inside and out; mopped and vacuumed all floors from 100 yr. old heart pine, to carpeting and tile. Their products are non-toxic (we have kids and dogs) and they smell wonderful, or better than that even! No streaks, residue or greasy surfaces - just sparkling clean. They were great with my dogs, one of whom is pretty shy, but she came right around and ended up following them through the house. Should we need a dog-sitter, I will definitely use them. The girls are extremely hard-working, very professional and are pleasant and friendly towards the whole family. They supply everything and use all their own equipment. They have been flexible when we've had to change dates of service, and I've had no problem leaving them alone to lock up the house when they're done. t They've also crated my dogs before leaving so I wouldn't come home to a mess. Always on time; never in a hurry to finish - they're very thorough. Can't wait to use some of their other services - I know our garage needs their reorganizational help! They're also very much 'plant-people' and we've discussed landscaping and gardening. I've been to their house discussing plantings and have shared some of my plants with them; they've also given me some good advice about things they are growing. All in all, this has been a wonderful experience. These are the RIGHT people to use. (We've had the "wrongs" before). I don't have a single negative thing to comment on regarding all aspects of their services, price, reliability, trustworthiness, and personal/professional demeanor...THANKS GIRLS - YOU ROCK!

Exceptional service and dedication. I love to cook but hate (I mean really hate) to clean. So we gave up and asked Two Girls to help us. They were so nice to us and our dog. They spent hours in the kitchen alone. The house smells and looks wonderful. I recommend them to anyone who needs a good job done.

Everything went really well! Kathy and Kelly work really well together. They have a great system. I do not have any complaints. I think if I did I feel comfortable enough to bring it to their attention and I know we could work it out. Communication is very important to me. I really appreciate how it is also important to Kelly and Kathy. I have had to call Kelly several times about things I have changed or to reschedule. Kathy and Kelly always seem to make time for us. I highly recommend 2 GIRLS TRYIN TO MAKE A BUCK. I think they are reasonably priced and they do great work too!

They called me two hours before our appointed time and left a message that 'they had several issues with our business arrangement. ' 1] That I was not on a regular schedule with them. (NOT true.) I am scheduled for every 3 weeks and they never schedule me as they leave; I have to call them to get BACK on the schedule. That my house is too far out; (What?) I am six miles from downtown Savannah. That I spoke rudely to them. NOT TRUE. NEVER! That my house took too long to do. They rarely spent more than two hours at my appointment. All of these issues could have been solved in a sit down. But it's just as well, they frequently canceled on me or had to reschedule. I was always accommodating with this. They were never on time and seemed to schedule me at the end of a day and then rush through the job. They are very unprofessional on how they handled this situation. They didn't appear to value me as a customer or value the fact that I had more than one property/job for them as I am a landlord. To cancel my appointment two hours before they were supposed to be here was very UNPROFESSIONAL and UNRELIABLE.

We recently renovated our home and in doing so there was a heavy layer of dust everywhere. I checked out Angie's List to find a housecleaning service which could put our home back in a livable state. We came upon 2 Girls trying 2 Make A Buck and asked them to come by the house, see what we have and give us an estimate. When Kathy & Kelly walked in and began to speak about what had to be done, my wife & I knew this was the service we were going to use. Now, after the job is complete there is no question we made the correct choice. They showed up on time and immediately went to work. The house is now spotless and we are thrilled with their performance. I am not only writing this review but will also recommend them to everyone I know.
