I thought I needed an entire new back deck but he said my supporting frame was still sound so he replaced every surface board and brought my house up to code with a new safer staircase and railings. He replaced my back door and some damaged siding as well. My "new" deck is stunning! He also repaired my wooden privacy fence that had been damaged in a storm. Job site was left neat and tidy. Work was completed within promised time frame and his price was competitive. He was honest and didn't add in hidden cost. I plan to call on him again this summer to do some interior work as well. I highly recommend this company!
Description of Work: Rebuilt deck, replaced entire deck stairs and frame, installed new door, replaced damaged siding.

+ -1 moreHe arrived on time and ready to work. He was very friendly and checked out our deck and sun room . Several of the post holding up the room were so badly decayed we could easily push a long screwdriver all the way into the post and out the other side at dirt level . Needless to say we were in fear of the room collapsing. He replaced all 5 posts and put them on concrete deck blocks. He did a great job....Will be using him again.
Description of Work: He replaced the rotten boards beneath our sun-room with all new posts which gave us the peace knowing our room was not in danger of falling down. He cleaned up everything and was finished in about 3 hours.

The job was complete and all unused materials was cleaned up from my yard. There have been no problems with my deck and the work done.

I have been looking for someone to do things at the house that we are unable to do, and I am very happy to have discovered JAL Handyman Services. He is thorough, reliable, reasonable and respectful in every way. I will definitely use his services again. I am not related to him, nor had I ever met him before contracting his services. I am an extremely satisfied customer!
Description of Work: Rebuilt and reinforced extra large privacy fence gate. Moved chain link fence and re-ran fence, including picking up new posts, cementing for reinforcement and running fence. Disposed of extra / unwanted materials.
