Excellent service. We had great responsive reps to work with and we ended up with a really great product. We’ve enjoyed the pool every weekend since the late sprint!

Where to start? I hope this review gives me enough space to fit it all. It will be 2 years this March. Absolutely zero communication from the start. I was never called the night before a crew would show up and they did so randomly every couple months. The hole was dug (40'x20') and a huge pile of dirt left for months. The gunite crew showed up one day and did their thing. Left a big mess in several areas of my yard (I had to clean) After several more months with this huge concrete hole in my yard I had to have the fence installed as I have a 4 and 2 year old. I had to move the dirt myself (thank goodness I have a tractor) for the fence. We could not have the area graded first as I was afraid one of my children would fall into the hole. So the fence is a wavy mess. Fast forward about 6 months the pool got water and 3 weeks later they came for 'pool school' to turn on the pump. BTW (I'm leaving so much out due to text limits) The border had a big piece missing out of it. One morning a one ton truck pulled into my back yard as I was drinking my morning coffee. No idea who it was and why did they drive into my back yard is beyond me but they parked on my septic system which is now leaking. Then they replaced the tile and dropped mortar in the bottom of the pool and it is stuck on the bottom. The travertine had to be redone as it was wavy and falling in. Now it is separating and waving again. A concrete border was put around the deck up to 1' in some areas. I can not landscape or do anything with it until they fix that. March will be 2 years and the $117k I paid up front was a disaster. I have called the last 2 days to a 'Mike' and no return call. As a small business owner I could not imagine doing this to one of my customers and my average job is only $10k. I have been patient. The only time I got a response was when I call the salesman (who was the only positive in all this). There was so much more I do not have the space to fit in. Like leaving a half ton of gravel in my yard for me to clean and huge pieces of concrete left in my yard. I have a news team coming here in the next week and we will make sure others do not make the same mistake. Now I will pay someone else to fix what I have already paid for. I leave reviews for almost everything I do. Is why I have been given 'local guide' status. 95% of the reviews I give are positive--Buyer beware!

The renovation went great and I am pleased with the result. (And so are my grandkids!) The pool needed new coping and tile after 22 years of regular use and now it looks brand new. My thanks to the whole team at Anthony and Sylvan Pools.

The overall project went very well from start to finish. Our initial contact was with Matthew, and our ongoing project manager was Chandra, both of whom were excellent. They showed up on time. They did the job very well. They completed the project on time and on budget. And they followed through to make sure that everything was done properly! You can't ask for better service than that. We really had a great experience from start to finish. I would highly recommend them.

The crew was professional. The entire renovation was only a few days. We choose mini-pebble and it looks fantastic. The tile work was expertly done. I own a construction company so the final detail & finishing quality was very important to me!

I really like the people who work for Anthony & Sylvan, specifically Suzanne and Eric. They were awesome and really tried to make me happy. However, the process has been a nightmare and my pool has been on the back burner as they juggle too many customers. The company is obviously overwhelmed and in need of more help, but keeps signing contracts to build more pools. So customers like me just keep getting deadlines pushed. I really wanted to give them 5 stars but that would just be a lie when they internally need to fix so many things.

The process went very smoothly. The project manager did an excellent job of taking care of the city and HOA permits and coordinating the various trades. They provided constant communication so we always knew what the upcoming steps were.

We had a wonderful experience with Anthony & Sylvan Pools. From start to finish, there was constant communication, with the team at Anthony & Sylvan always checking in to see how things were going. We met with the team first at our home for the free consultation, told them our ideas for what we wanted in a pool, and we had a quote not even a week later. Our pool was built in about three months. We started construction in February and had a beautiful pool in our backyard by the end of April. We have been so grateful to have a pool during these uncertain times -- and it has been so hot and humid in Atlanta. My husband and I love our new pool so much. I'm so happy with our decision to go with Anthony & Sylvan as our design consultant and builder. With the lifetime structural warranty, the amazing team and the fact that the company has been in business 75 years, there really was no other choice.

The design process was great! Suzanne Martin worked diligently with us to ensure that our expectations were exceeded. She gave us numerous options and presented ideas to make sure we were satisfied prior to beginning construction. The subcontractors used throughout construction were very professional and delivered quality workmanship. Throughout the construction phase, Project Manager Michael Fallon maintained constant contact with us, including numerous onsite visits, to ensure work was progressing as promised and keeping us informed of timing and potential delays (i.e., weather or supply delays). He was always responsive to our questions and in addressing any concerns we might raise.

In December, 2020, we contracted with Anthony Sylvan to start a pool renovation in March to avoid bad weather. Without any announcement, some clown shows up in our driveway and tells us they are ready to start. This is in early January, two months early. He says he drove all the way from PA to Georgia. I tell him we are in the middle of a kitchen remodel but he's kind of pushy. He says he'll be back in a couple of weeks. In two days he shows up again, unannounced, and starts to drain our pool. I should have told him to get off our property and I was close but out of respect for the subcontractor I let him continue. That was a mistake. Virtually that same day Anthony Sylvan calls to say they don't have the tile and will have to delay construction. Great. I already removed our safety cover in preparation for them starting. While on the phone with this guy I look out the window and my 17 year old dog is literally drowning in our pool. He died that way. OK, he was half blind and deaf but he didn't need to die like that and it was totally unnecessary. So I fired Anthony Sylvan but now my dog is dead, my pool is drained, and they refused to pay to refill it. I estimate the cost to refill my pool at $600 so I gamble and hire another company. At this point in time (February 2021) my pool is tiled and ready for final plaster but there is no window of decent weather to complete the job. Thanks Anthony Sylvan. You just had to think only of yourself and the fact that you had no other work to do so you found someone you thought you could bully into starting early, and DID! Unfortunately that was me. Don't let Anthony Sylvan take advantage of you. Find another company with decent reviews.

The workmanship was of the highest quality and the lifetime guarantee on the shell was a big selling point and we only had minimal work as one would expect on the pump and heater over the years. We also choose to have the in-floor cleaning system installed and it was the best decision we ever made. We broke ground on the pool in mid January of 2004, and started swimming in March and ever since, we have not had to use the vacuum even once. The in-floor system is that good. I highly recommend A&S!

Anthony & Sylvan honored their warranty obligations to replace my 21 year old cracked pool filter shell. I will definitely do business with this company again.

Very helpful with the layout and design of our large family pool and spa on a very difficult lot! The work crews were amazing as well. No trash left behind and always timely. We have really enjoyed our pool for the last 15 years with no problems at all.

They had a problem with a subcontractor. But the manager with A&S made sure it was not our problem. They created paradise for us.

Great! When they began to dig, they discovered that there was all kind of trash buried on our property. We had to stop and reevaluate excavation and they worked with us to get it done as well as on the price. They were very professional and timely. They did a beautiful job in a difficult area. We needed retaining walls and a lot of land prep work. This was not a flat area and they made it work. We no longer live in Atlanta so I do not have a photo. I would absolutely use them again and highly recommend Sylvan pools.
