+ 0 moreThis experience was a total disaster and I think when a contractor asked for money before he does any work on the project, that should be a warning that you need to avoid dealing with him or her.
Description of Work: I contracted with Rogers Construction to remodel our small (9 x 5) bathroom into a powder room. Mr. Rogers talked me into doing a cost plus 15% service and said I would need to give him $1800. that day in order for him to buy materials. I gave him a check and later two more workers started tearing out our bathroom and informed me that they needed more money for materials. I asked them where Mr. Rogers was and they said they were actually doing the work for Mr. Rogers and needed to get more material. For a job that Mr. Rogers said would take four days, we ended up dealing with these people for almost three weeks. We are hiring another contractor to finish the job and this has been a very stressful experience that I would not wish on anyone.
