A/C unit went down on a Wednesday, Brian from Sam Pickren came out on Thursday gave us the bad news coil was shot. New unit put in on Friday. It was 90 + degrees that whole week can't beat a two day turnaround. Replaced with a Carrier unit 2/12 ton 15 seer, air handler and new thermostat. The install team was top notch very professional, when they were done all trash and old A/C removed.

I was very impressed with the customer service, products and prices of Sam Pickren. Their specialist, Darrell, was extremely helpful and knowledgeable when he came to give me a quote. He continually stayed in contact with me answering my questions throughout the process. The team was able to install our new AC and perform duct work all in one day. They answered all of my questions before leaving and they cleaned up everything very well. There was a small problem with one of the parts. They explained the situation to me clearly and gave me options for how they could remedy the problem. They were quick to install the part I desired and kept the original price quote the same. I was very impressed with their excellent customer service throughout this process. They proved themselves to be a very trustworthy company! I am very happy with the performance of the new AC and Sam Pickren's prices are excellent compared to some other local companies. I highly recommend Sam Pickren to anyone in the Camden County area!

It was painless! In and out in one day

Cost is included in annual maintenance contract. The technician troubleshot the problem from one end of our trailer (triple-wide office) to the other. He climbed up into the (HOT!) overhead,and stuck his head up into the (SMALL) ventillation ducts, getting covered in fiberglass and plaster in the process. He added freon, checked voltages and pressures, and even swapped out thermostats. At the end of the day, the problem was corrected. OUTSTANDING KNOWLEDGE, SERVICE, and PROFESSIONALISM!

They were great! Our home warranty sent a company that did not fix the AC correctly. We decided to call Sam Pickren and pay out of pocket. They sent someone out who was extremely thorough and helpful. They fixed it in one day and we haven't had problems since. We will be calling them in the future for sure.

Removed old unit from house and replaced it with a newer more efficient unit. They were very professional and upfront about each step in the process.

Initial inspection and tuning of AC systems was very thorough. Filter changes and system inspections monthly as part of an annual maintenance contract. Very professional, no complaints. Prices are competative with local peer company of similar quality (TURNER).

Will came out a few months prior to the repair to evaluate our system. Last summer we had $500 power bills and we were still uncomfortable in the house. He told us our duct work was almost completely constructed of flexible piping which blocked the air flow and the system was just old and inefficient. When we decided to replace the system, Justin came out and wrote an estimate. At that time he told us it would probably be about a month before they could get to the job. We were going to be without a/c for 3-4 days and this would have put us into the beginning of June. They then called us back a week or so later and said they were able to get us in earlier. The crew showed up on time each day. Chris and the crew removed the old units(2), and installed the new one first. They replaced the duct work, registers and returns the last two days. Chris answered all our questions about the process. The crew cleaned up each day after themselves. One day we had to move some furniture in the living room and they helped with that. I was warned when they were going to turn the system on, so I could cover the furniture to keep from getting debris on it. I had to deal with the office staff a few times during the process. They were polite and efficient. There were two times there were delays in the process ( getting an estimate and balancing the air flow after the unit was installed) and I was contacted each time during the delay. The work was completed in 4 days, so the estimate was correct. The service did not cost any more money than the original estimate. We elected to get an extended warrany through Sam Pickren to cover labor for ten years. Each person we dealt with was able to answer questions to our satisfaction. While the crew was in the house, they were polite, hard working and punctual. After the system had been in a few days, our kitchen was staying a little warmer. The crew came back out to balance the air flow. When we got our first power bill after, it was $400. I was hoping for more improvement, and when I called the company back, Will came out and evaluated the situation. Our new system is pulling far less power than the old one. I think it is due more to Georgia Power upping the electricity rates during the summer months. Our latest power bill is down to $375, and we are comfortable in the house.

I called Pickren when the unit stopped cooling. A technician reported within a few hours, quickly diagnosed the problem, gave me a repair estimate, and replaced the man motor. While he was here he performed the annual PM including cleaning the coils, vacuumed the condensate line, and checked refrigerant pressures. This unit is 17 years old. My technician told me it is in very good condition considering its age. The technician was very competent, friendly, professional. Pickren installed my system when I built the house 17 years ago and has maintained my system ever since. They're great!!

They arrive on time and perform the work according to their estimatea. New system works like a champ. I highly recommend their annual service agreement for priority scheduling; on any given service call, they have arrived within a couple of hours to fix whatever problem I've had.

My AC went out and I called for service. They came out and fixed the unit. About 3 weeks later the outside unit just completely went out. I called them back to get a quote on replacing the entire system. We made an appointment for the next afternoon and they never showed. I called them to reschedule for the next afternoon, and once again they didn't show up. I wasn't going to call again. I got the unit replaced by another company.

Told me that the unit was too old and needed to be replaced and charged me 270 bucks for their time. They didn't repair anything, no parts, nothing. Just three hundred bucks and a good luck, call us for an estimate on a new system. I wouldnt recommend these crooks to my worst enemy.

They are good people with a good reputation. They care about the quality of work that is done. They also give back to the community. A lot of the employees have worked there for a long time, and that speaks volumes. Its husband and wife owned they work their business every day. They are family orientated. They go the extra mile to give their customers good service. You get what you pay for they use high end equipment.

They did a really good job. It was a difficult job because of how old my home is. They got right to work and did great. They did everything within one day, and I haven't had any problems with it sense.
