Description of Work: Good company. The tech rekeyed all doors, and we discussed options for a new front door handle set (at my request). He lubed the front door at no charge. The company has followed up with me about the handle set, and has presented different finish/style options to meet my needs and wallet.

Description of Work: Punctual, tidy and professional. did what I needed done, didn't nose around the house or try to upsell. very pleased and would use them again. I used them to reinforce the front door with a lock reinforcement for security.

Description of Work: I bought an Angie's Deal on-line and this is one of the few "Deals" that I feel worked out well. I had bought a coupon for each of our exterior doors to have the dead-bolt area of the door jamb reinforced. They arrived on time. They were clearly identifiable with a clean uniform and a company truck. The service man listened to my requests and installed 2 of the three reinforcements and adjusted the hinges and deadbolts. The third door, the front one, has side lites and he could not use the same reinforcement kit. I asked him to modify the jamb piece by attaching it top & bottom but he didn't have that option with the kits that he had. He had the Owner call me and discuss a solution. 4 Hours later the Owner arrived with the custom parts and installed them on the front door. He would not accept any added money. He said that they had a policy to finish ALL their installations on the same day and with satisfied customers. These guys are fantastic. I have recommended them to all my neighbors.

We wanted doors rekeyed and had several questions on types of locks to add as well. The installation serviceman was very professional and very fast and did everything to perfection! Description of Work: The company installed a reinforced strike plate for our front door's deadbolt. When someone attempts to kick in the door, the strike plate spreads the kick force on the deadbolt (which usually is concentrated enough to shear through an unreinforced wooden doorframe) over a wide enough area that the wooden doorframe won't break without multiple noisy attempts.

Description of Work: When our doorknob malfunctioned and fell off we thought we would need a whole new cylinder or assembly and perhaps new keys. To our delight the technician was able to repair it for the price of just a house call.. We were also delighted at the response time -- just a few hours since we couldn't lock the front door or arm our security system until it was repaired.

Description of Work: From the point of first contact with this company through days later when I had locked my self out of the house, everyone I came in contact with was polite & courteous. Technicians were knowledgable about their products & job, and even came prepared when I changed my mind at the last minute. I was asked the number of keys I would like and they were made on the spot. Several nights later I locked myself out of my house with only my laptop - no phone. I began emailing locksmiths. Unlockit was the only one that responded, he showed up about 6:30am, worked quickly and got me back into my house. He was more concerned about me getting in my home and warming up than billing me. I would definitely use this company again and would by all means recommend them to anyone. Thank you unlock it! You did a great job! Their first visit - the only one I had planned. Unlockit changed out turnbolt locks for double keyed deadbolts on 2 doors, keyed ALL the locks in the house to match. The second visit, they were able to open a locked door to get me back into my house.

Description of Work: We closed on a house the morning of the 27th, and immediately called Unlockit Locksmith & Security. We hoped to get a locksmith out to the new house by the end of the week. They were able to come that afternoon. We had already purchased new hardware for one door. When we got to the house, we realized our new hardware was the wrong finish, and also, that we needed a second deadbolt for another door. When the technician arrived (promptly), he was able to install the two deadbolt locks we needed and re-key the existing locks, all in a finish that matched the remaining hardware.
