We were very pleased with the service and responsiveness of Unlock-It in changing our locks. And as a bonus, our garage door is easier to close and doesn't squeak and that our back door closes securely!

They did what they said they would do. They not only came early, but called to make sure they could come earlier. They rekeyed all the locks, the person who came was very professional. The price was exactly what they said it would be. I would use them again.

They came out the day after I called (could have come out for same day service if I had wanted). The technician was very knowledgeable - he worked quickly but was also very thorough. I contacted Unlock-It based on the rave reviews here and was not disappointed! I was able to schedule the appointment at my convenience and received a courtesy call from Tomas about 1/2 hour before his arrival letting me know he was on his way. Tomas completed all the work and actually did more than I asked for in that he offered suggestions to make the re-keying process easier. He was also able to make one lock work for both keys, which I didn't even know was possible. Finally - he adjusted two of my deadbolts to make the doors more secure. He was great. The price was even better and included 4 extra keys. The overall experience was exceptional.

It was a great experience. The technician came on time, worked methodically and even did some extras. Our front door did not close properly and he fixed it! We have multiple doors and I just asked him to change them all. He missed one and when I called to report that, the technician was back in an hour and fixed it immediately with many apologies - at no charge. I then got a call from the owner apologizing as well. This company has excellent customer service.

Tomas visited and did a great job. He was courteous, friendly, and respectful. Aside from getting delayed at a previous call, it would be hard to ask for a better experience.

For the first appointment, Rick was sent to rekey my locks. That job was completed in a totally competent manner. Rick was professional, friendly, and helpful. I asked him what else he would suggest, so he filled in a form, gave an estimate, and said that I could call him or the office. I went ahead and did this a few days later. Rick was early, which was great, and he started work right away. In fact, I felt so comfortable with him in the house and the plumber outside the house that I left both of them and went to buy a fridge, which, by the way, Rick helped me carry into the house. Gil joined him to work on the gate. He, too, worked non-stop. I could tell that he was determined to make sure that the gate solution would work. Both men remained way longer than I expected and would have let me leave them to their work if I had wanted. When Rick finished his work, which took longer than expected, because of the state of the door, he went to help Gil, and they both continued to work on the gate. During the whole time that they were working, separately and together, the only conversation they had was to do with the job at hand. Gil was very apologetic that it was taking him longer than expected, and I appreciated that he was sensitive enough to think of his customer. They both cleaned up completely after themselves. In fact, Rick put out a mat to lay all his equipment on and vacuumed afterwards. The next day I received a follow-up call from the company inquiring as to my satisfaction with the men. The money that I spent was more than I expected, but the quality of the work, the professionalism and friendly, positive attitude of Rick and Gil made this a very successful experience. I would absolutely use them again. UPDATE: First of all, this is an addendum to the sterling service that I have already received. Lyn, who answers the phone, is so sweet, courteous, and helpful. It's almost like having a friend at the other end of the phone. A few weeks back Rick and Gil had worked on a lock for my patio gate, which is very heavy. The lock was working fine, but it seemed to me that the gate could drop over time so that the new bolt would no longer fit. I explained this, and Rick came out once more. Within a short time, he had attached a bracket and guide to the gate, which, even if it does drop, has nowhere to go! It took little time, and Rick worked with his usual cheerfulness and industry. I just wanted to make sure that I sent another short report about such wonderful people. Thank you.

I called the company and aksed for an appointment to install an anti-lift lock on sliders, double sided dead bolt on front door and deadbolt on garage door. Company sent a rep same day for a review and estimate. I was told that my sliders were installed in such a way that they could not be lifted out. The rep indicated that he could install the lock I requested but it was not necessary and I could save the money by putting a bar in the door. I appreciated tha the did not sell me something I did not need. The rep said that he could install a wrap around enforced double sided lock and re-enforce the door jamb on the front door to prevent kick ins. He also indicated that he could move my sigle side lock to my garage door to save the expense of purchasing a brand new lock. I agreed to all of these steps. The company sent an installer the very next day. He was on time and performed everything that we discussed and was complete in a little over an hour. Overall this was a very good experience and I would highly recommend this company.

They came out the following night I called. He was done within an hour. He was excellent and cleaned up well after himself. He did an excellent job. The price was reasonable as well.

From the time I contacted Unlock it, to the completion of the work, the entire experience was great. They are customer focused, patient and take time to understand and answer any questions. Very prompt service. Professional appearance with uniforms. They honored their original estimate even though the actual job came in a few dollors over. The service technicians were very patient with all my questions and exceeded expectations. We had a problem with flexing on the back door after installation of the reinforcing bar. The technician came out no charge and reworked the bar to eliminate the problem. Everyone from the office staff to the technicians made sure the job was done correct and to my satisfaction. I would strongly recommend Unlockit to anyone with locking needs.

Gill did all the installation, was punctual, very professional, did a great job, and was extremely friendly too! The technician arrived promptly wearing company clothes and identified himself. He quickly diagnosed that the lock had been improperly installed originally. He got the door open and reinstalled the lock correctly. He also reviewed with my husband how to open the door if we had future problems. He also checked that our front door lock was working properly. There was no additional charge beyond the service call. He was very pleasant and professional. We would definitely call Unlockit again.

We have several doors that open to the outside. Because of lockset changes over the past few years, we had three different keys for all the locks. We wanted one key. Unlockit quoted a fair price (with a senior discount) and the work was scheduled within a few days. The gentleman showed up on time and completed the work in about an hour (including a lock we couldn't find a key for). A great experience with a professional company.

The technician was extremely professional, kind and informative. I had installed some of the new locks myself but ran into difficulties because the door frame had much wood missing where the strike plate should be installed on all 3 doors. The technician not only corrected the work I requested but also pointed out other potential problems and fixed them as well. The door going out to my garage would open, even when locked if a strong wind came in under the garage door, setting off my burlgar alarm. I thought it was going to take the deadbolt installation to correct that. Although I will use both deadbolt and handle lock for security, the technician was able to tighten up the handle lock to keep it from flying open if it is unlocked and I am working in my garage and a wind blows through. I will definitely use this company in the future for all my locksmith needs. I found their pricing to be extremely reasonable. Gil came out to check on a front door lock that needed fixing and to give me an estimate on adding a lock to the door. He was prompt, polite, very knowledgable, and explained to me all the various options about what we could do. He also looked at a couple of back doors and checked the lock quality, and he expained to me a couple of options to increase security. Ultimately we decided not to do any upgrades to the back doors, but we may want to do that later. He brought sample locks for me to see and feel and expained the process of replacing the locks on the various doors. He told me that he could take apart the front door lockset to see if he could fix the problem before replacing the whole set. I really appreciated that, as it was less expensive to fix the lock instead of replace it. He gave me very clear estimates on the prices of all the different repairs/upgrades. When he came back out to the do the work a few days later, he was very prompt, was able to fix the front door lock and the price was exactly what he said it would be. I will definitely use this company again. Top-notch service from the initial phone call to schedule an estimate to the actual work itself. The only slight hitch was that I wish I had asked to see where on the front door the 2nd lock was going to go before Gil started the installation; I would have asked for it to be installed slightly lower. Small problem, not a big deal, and I could have prevented the problem entirely if I had asked ahead of time. Over all, an A for both Gil and UnlockIt - I will definitely use them again.

I contacted several vendors on Angie's list to get estimates for rekeying my locks. I tried companies that we close to my Lithonia home. I got estimates from $125 - $175 for this service. I noticed that Unlock It offered a discount and 4 free keys to Angie's List members. They were the furthiest vendor from my home so I was not sure they serviced Lithonia. I was pleasantly surprised to find that they would indeed come to Lithonia and on the day that I requested (2 days after my call.) On the day of the service, I got a call that the technician was ahead of schedule and could actually get to my house about 40 minutes early. They called to see if this was OK with me. This worked really well for me. A very pleasant and professional Security Specialist named Tomas Rodriquez completed the work. I am so glad that I called Unlock It. They provided excellent service at a great price.
