Description of Work: I submitted two separate requests over the period of one week (one through Angie's List and one directly on the company's web Site) for information and asked the company to contact us. They never responded, so I moved on to another more responsive company. Business must be really good for RBA.

+ -1 moreI purchased the big deal and it went just fine. The guy did a good job and he was very thorough. I've never had one of those done before so I had no idea what I was getting into. I was very satisfied. He came in, set up a lower device on my front door and checked for air leaks. He looked throughout the house for areas that might have energy issues and also talked about duct work as well as its connections. He gives us a comprehensive written report after that with details of all the things that he saw and he mailed it out to us within a few days. He checked where there was insulation which was the other thing that he did, thermal imaging. There were some places where there was no insulation on a certain section of wall or something and he had that identified. He gave us photographs of all that so it was pretty comprehensive. I was very satisfied.

+ 0 moreI was happy to find an ASHI certified home inspector that was on the GA Power approved list to do their full energy audit (BPI). Leo was helpful (stopped by to check the gas a few days before the inspection). He answered my follow up questions, promptly. The pictures were good in the report. The report was well written and understandable. He seemed knowledgeable about construction, and I haven't found any discrepancy with what he said was in need of attention and estimates to do the repair work. Also, my HOA mamager was glad I showed him areas of the unit exterior from the inspection report that need repair. During the inspection Leo answered all my questions and explained everything, thoroughly.

+ -1 moreIt was a very positive experience overall. I wasn't sure what to expect since we'd never had an energy audit before but it definitely exceeded my expectations. Leo's report was very thorough, clear, and chock full of useful information about ways we could improve energy savings in our house.
Description of Work: We had wanted to have an energy audit for a long time but didn't know how to find a reliable contractor, so when Angie's List offered a Big Deal for SaveEnergyExperts we quickly signed up. I called Leo Velichkovsky and made an appointment for 1:00 on a Friday several weeks out. Having had bad experiences with no-show contractors in the past I was worried about making an appointment so far in advance, but my worries were totally unfounded. Leo showed up promptly at the appointed time and set up right away. He took care to explain the entire process to me and invited me along on the very thorough assessment, using an infrared instrument that showed where energy was leaking in our house. Along the way he offered tips and solutions and told me where I could save money on repairs. He is extremely knowledgeable about making energy saving improvements throughout the house. He went into the crawl space, the attic, the entire house, and even outside the perimeter of the house. In the attic he even detected some leaks in our roof and suggested that they may have been caused by hail damage from a recent storm ( the claims adjustor from the insurance company confirmed this was so). That alone was worth the price of the audit! Leo also did a door blower test to check for air tightness in the house. He was here for about four hours and made many useful suggestions for DIY energy saving improvements. A couple of weeks later he emailed a very thorough report that included clear photos that he had taken while he was doing the assessment. He was awesome, very easy to work with. I can't say enough good things about him. I would definitely recommend him to others.

+ -1 moreLeo was prompt, thorough, gracious. He had to climb all around our attic in the dead heat of summer and managed to get pictures of problems that follow-up workmen marveled at. Leo does not do improvements--so you know he has nothing to gain through his report. The report notes potential federal, state, and Georgia Power rebates. We had to call him several times regarding the inspection and he always graciously answered our call and answered our questions. He also filled out the paper work so that we got our rebate for the audit from Georgia Power in a timely manner.
Description of Work: We first hired Leo to do the home inspection for a 1986 model home we were moving into and asked that he do an overview of the energy efficiency of the house. Later he came back and did a complete energy analysis and provided us with a "Residential Property Energy Assessment Report."
