Reface Cabinets

Cabinet Refacing and Refinishing, Cabinet Making, Kitchen and Bath Remodeling

About us

Note: we do not do any on site refinishing (painting) work, and only provide repair work as part of a complete refacing job. We do not take on cabinet repair work or cabinet modification work by itself. Reface Cabinets specializes in solid hardwood cabinet refacing to provide you the beautiful cabinets that up until now you have been dreaming about. Our MINIMUM kitchen cabinet project is $5,000, which is a mere fraction of the cost of replacing your existing cabinets for new cabinets. All your materials will be custom cut and finished off site, and when we come back to do the installation, we will typically be in and out of your home in 3 days or less. Reface Cabinets position in the market is delivering a great value on high quality workmanship with the use of very high quality materials and hardware. We do not do any onsite cabinet painting, or refinishing. Instead, we focus on the business of cabinet refacing. That means we will always be replacing the doors, hinges, and drawer fronts and the trim such as crown molding. The exterior of your cabinet boxes will be covered with new material, which we prefinish off site along with all your other materials. This is so your cabinet boxes will exactly match the your new doors, drawer fronts, and crown molding. If you like the doors you have and just want to change the color of your cabinets, we are not the right company to call. We can perform any type of cabinet repair and/or addition as part of a refacing project. We do not offer general cabinet repair services as a stand alone offering if not part of a larger refacing and/or new custom cabinet project. A realistic minimum job is about $4K which generally rules out doing a vanity by itself. Thank you Angie's List Members for recognizing our work with your reviews! Reface Cabinets was recognized with the Super Service Award in 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2017.

20 years of trusted experience

Services we offer

Pre-finished custom Cabinet Refacing in Stained hardwood, Antique Glaze, or Solid Color finishes, plus extra services, such as add onto or change existing cabinet configurations, added functionality such as full extension pull out drawer systems, sliding organizers, and pantry systems. We also build and install custom cabinets.

Services we don't offer

Supplying unfinished cabinet doors, or supplying individual cabinet repair parts for people who are not our existing customers. We do not offer on site cabinet re-staining, or finishing services. We feel that spraying lacquer finishes inside people's homes makes it difficult to provide the same level of quality as we can achieve easily with pre finished materials prepared in the controlled environment of our furniture finishing facility.

Kitchen looks fabulous. We went with a custom white and are very pleased with the results. My job was a little more involved since I wanted the cabinet fronts to completely cover the cabinet boxes and no two sets of cabinets had the same hinges. The installers measured twice just to be sure. We did have a few hiccups, (cracks in a couple of panels), but Dennis stands by his products and had them replaced immediately. I was very pleased with the quality of the cabinets and the installers are great guys!!

Planning to go get some photos of that large island the customer mentioned. It is very fancy with decorative columns and a lot of detailed trim. As she mentioned, the cabinets in a large kitchen had several different overlays (frame width) which made the job challenging. That is an unusual situation.

The final result exceeded all of our expectations. The fit and finish -- from the doors to the facing to the crown molding to the trim pieces -- is all vastly superior to the builder-grade look that we started with. We were concerned that by refacing rather than remodeling we would come up short, but that's definitely not the case. The team did a beautiful job and treated us and our home really well. We recommend them without hesitation. The process started with a phone call with Dennis, where we discussed our current situation and our objectives. That was followed by a home visit where Dennis showed us samples and helped us problem-solve specific areas where we wanted to make a change. Next came the proposal phase, where we did a few rounds of back-and-forth via e-mail and phone as we made various tradeoffs. Once we signed the contract his team came and completed a detailed measure. Meanwhile, the project manager reached out to me via phone and e-mail and we stayed in contact through the install date. During that period we confirmed and ordered the pulls, and they sent us a painted sample so we could approve the custom color before manufacturing. Finally, after about four weeks, they notified us they were ready and we agreed on an install date. The installation took three days. During the installation the guys arrived each day exactly on schedule and treated our home and our family with the utmost of respect. As with any major home improvement project there were a few hiccups where we had to confer and call audibles, and in every case the guys were great partners and did everything they could to make us happy. We never lost the ability to use our kitchen and our home was clean and navigable each night after they left. If we were to offer any advice, it would be to put more of the process in writing. The core elements of the job were included in the contract, but everything else was verbal. The result was that the installers didn't have exact instructions on each design element, and we ended up having to rework a few things. For example, we requested that the toe-kick molding (quarter round) be stained to match our floor rather than painted to match the cabinets -- that wasn't written down so the installers didn't know. None of it was huge or insurmountable, but it was avoidable. Lastly, note that all of the boards and trim are cut to size on site, so be prepared to have a portion of your driveway or garage dedicated to the equipment for a few days. Also, it produces a lot of dust wherever that equipment is stationed, so move anything you don't want to get dirty. We ended up having to clean some items in our garage that we would have moved or covered if we had realized. Again, not a huge deal but it would have made the experience better. Despite those few minor issues, we are EXTREMELY happy with the results and are definitely willing to use them again and to recommend them to you.
Description of Work: Refaced kitchen cabinets, including 35 doors and 16 drawer fronts. Added slide-outs for better under-cabinet storage in two cabinets. Converted four small drawers into two double-wide drawers. Cabinet doors were paint-grade maple, and we chose a custom color to coordinate with our home decor. Dennis and the team had all parts factory-painted prior to delivery.

I am so thrilled with my new kitchen, it is better than I imagined it would be! And The project team was I absolutely the best project team I have worked with. I will definitely refer Reface Cabinets to my friends or anyone else that asks. What a great non-stressful experience this has been. I couldn't decide if I wanted to go with the clean glaze, so I truly appreciated their patience with me while I was trying to figure out my color. I have already gotten so many compliments on my new kitchen and my husband's loves it too!

I had my kitchen cabinets refaced and had some new ones built. They did an amazing job. I got everything I asked for. The installers were great at measuring and installing and very easy to work with. Dennis was great, always easy to get a hold of and followed through on everything I asked of him! My kitchen is beautiful now. I love it. I have all pull out drawers, self closing doors and drawers. They even moved my dishwasher closer to the sink and that gave me 3 additional drawers. I had them make the cabinets go all the way to the ceiling with small cabinet doors with glass on top of the cabinets with lighting. It is beautiful. The quality of the cabinets, drawers and doors are excellent. Solid wood. I can't say enough about this company they were great! My friend told me she now has kitchen envy!!!

This was a larger kitchen project and about half the total project cost was associated with the new custom cabinets and the other extensive upgrades the customer reported. About half our business involves some amount of custom cabinets in addition to basic refacing. Sometimes the custom cabinet work portion is very basic such as putting in a fridge case. In other jobs we have refaced half a kitchen and replaced all the cabinets on the other side. A lot of people think of refacing vs. replacing as an either/or situation, but in many cases combining some new cabinets with refacing is a great way to go. In the case of this customer she would have spent at least $35K to rip and replace everything with custom cabinets, and would have had her kitchen torn up for a couple of weeks. Refacing combined with some new cabinets, can make a dramatic difference in your kitchen and save substantial money over the rip and replace approach.

We did a complete renovation of our master bath with custom cabinets and absolutely love the results. I wanted 2 pull out spice drawers to keep the clutter off the vanity and to have easy access to products. No questions asked, Dennis was able to produce these with beautiful results. When the drawers rubbed a little bit, that was not good enough. Dennis made sure the glides were smooth and that I was 100% satisfied. We also had 3 large custom mirrors made and installed. All the work was done in a timely matter and the crew was great to work with. I would definitely recommend Reface Cabinets and would use them in the future.

The custom vanities and mirror frames we created for this job were done in white shaker styke. The customer specified inset doors and drawer fronts. Having the inset drawer fronts was a little more challenging to set up the two 8" wide slide out units so the drawer fronts wouldn't be able to rub where they slide in flush with the cabinets. With typical drawer fronts which overlay on the outside of the cabinets that is never an issue. The solution was not difficult, but that is a good example of new issues which come up and need to be resolved.

Dennis and his team of workers did a beautiful job refacing our kitchen cabinets and drawers. We went from an ugly 1990's honey oak finish to a transitional espresso stain. No one would know that the cabinets and drawers behind the new door and drawer fronts are from the original house! They look fantastic, and the soft-close feature is so nice with kids in the house. Dennis was very patient going through all of the door and drawer options, and made recommendations and sent photos of prior jobs to help ease the decision-making process. He even recommended a modification to the drawers that didn't cost extra, but helped to incorporate the look of the door design into the drawer fronts. The installation team was professional, courteous, and on time. They cleaned up after themselves every day, and made sure that the work was completed to our liking and approval before they finished up. I would highly recommend Reface Cabinets. The price was one of the lowest estimates we received (out of 5 bids), and their quality is excellent!

We are very pleased with our kitchen! it looks flawless. I got several quotes for new and refacing cabinets and this company by far had the best value, while providing the best options like slow close hinges and all wood cabinetry made in georgia. we had some new cabinets and a cubbies made to customize the kitchen (which was hideous oak grain prior) and it all blends in seamlessly. You'd never know they weren't installed just as they are. Got a $40,000 for a quarter that price. I'd definitely recommend this service provider.

This is another great example of what you can accomplish by combining Refacing with some New Cabinets. This job was interesting and challenging with modifications to both ends of the island, as well as some other custom pieces the customer mentioned in the review. We worked hard to come up with the ideal solution to enlarging the island for more drawers and a wide spice pull out, without making it too big for the available space. The customers also chose a contrasting island in an espresso stain. That is a beautiful combination with off white/dark brown clean glaze cabinets. I wish Angie's List had a way for us to post photos with these reviews. The customer touched on Reface Cabinets providing a very good value for her project. We specialize in doing top quality work for a good price. There are other competitors out there whom is all about the price. One says will beat any price by $100. Our work may cost 10% -15% more than some vendors who don't have as high standards for fit an finish or the same level of customer service. In the end whether you are looking for a plain or a fancy kitchen project we will deliver great work and beautiful results at a good value. We made the decision years ago to differentiate and compete by delivering a great value for superior work. It was a good decision then and still is.

When we bought our home in 2012, we loved almost everything about it, but the kitchen cabinets did not work with our style and we really wanted to brighten it up and make it more modern. In addition, we really wanted to have one more tall cabinet on the end, because there was space for additional storage and it looked kind of unfinished. I contacted a local sales rep for the manufacturers of the existing cabinets to see how much it would be to purchase an add on and I was told it would be $2,400, which seems like a lot, considering we didnt even like the look of the existing cabinets. I told the sales rep our situation and he recommended I reach out to Dennis Callahan because not only would he be able to do a beautiful job refacing, he could also build us a custom cabinet that would be exactly what we wanted and for less than buying the stock cabinet from the manufacturer. I contacted Dennis at Reface Cabinets and he came out to meet with us and show us some example doors, colors, and photos of the work they had done. I was very impressed. He explained the reface process, and it is a much less expensive option than replacing the entire cabinets, and you really can't tell the difference! The best part is that we didn't even have to take anything out of the cabinets. He also gave us some great options to customize with some glass panels and replacing some cabinet space with a wine rack. We did a bunch of change orders during the process, but Dennis made it pretty seamless. We decided on an antique white with a brown glaze. He gave us some great options for sample doors and crowns once we sent him a few examples of doors we liked. The guys that did the work finished the job in the 3-4 day window that they promised, they were professional, and told us if there were any small changes that we wanted, they would happy to come back, understanding that it takes at least a week to really look at every detail. The work that was done significantly exceeded our expectations. It brightened up the whole great room of our home, and it really is our dream kitchen now. The final touches that they did really showed that they went the extra mile. I highly recommend Reface Cabinets!

This customer chose a White Shaker style for refacing her builder grade thermofoil cabinets. We use paint grade Maple fro the doors and all other pieces for solid color jobs. When working with real hardwood doors, solid color finishes are the most economical, primarily because we can use paint grade Maple on the doors and drawer fronts, it does not pay to but maple with pretty grain suitable for translucent stains and then cover it up with primer and solid color top coat. Typically solid color finishes (not glazes) are about 10% less than stained hardwood finishes are owing to this savings. In this case our customer has a good size kitchen with a fairly high door/drawer front count, which is reflected in the job price. Our finishes are what are called Conversion Coatings, or Conversion Varnishes. They are comprised of a base material and a hardener which is combined just before application. These finishes have to be applied in an EPA approved paint booth at a finishing facility, and we offer a 10 year limited warranty on the finish. We often have people calling us to do on site finishing work and we have to decline because our crew and our materials are not set up to provide on site finishing. Refacing replaces all doors drawer fronts, crown molding, and 1/4 round toe rail, and all other external cabinet surfaces are covered with new material finished to match your new doors. In the case of end panels it is usually 1/4" maple plywood, and for the face frames around and under there doors there are a couple of different choices of materials, from thin wood veneer to 1/4" thick maple cut and milled from furniture grade Maple lumber. Refacing can be a great way to go. For equivalent quality of refacing vs. new cabinets the savings is nearly 50%. Please contact use with your kichen project ideas and we can usually give you a good idea of the likely cost over the phone. If what we discuss makes sense, the next step is to schedule a no cost visit to show sample materials and gather information so we can generate a real proposal.

The product itself was of excellent quality. The crew that did the work was very friendly , punctual and professional. If you need any special changes or fixes, they can do it! I was perfectly pleased with everything Dennis and his team did for our kitchen renovation. On a side note, I found this company by searching the internet, and after interviewing Dennis and a few other companies, I felt that Dennis would be reliable and true to his word. I was right.

In addition, they built us a custom wine cabinet which we had installed where the desk used to be (my idea to update the kitchen) . All looks perfect. Like a brand new kitchen in only 3 days.

This was a large kitchen project with over 60 pieces plus some decorative door style panels on the island in addition to the custom wine rack cabinet we built to replace the desk they were not using. That cabinet isn't your typical wine rack. It has capacity for about 4 1/2 cases of wine. We also did some minor cabinet repairs, and made some improvements in their laundry room.

When I decided to replace my kitchen cabinets, I contacted 3 Angie's List providers for estimates. Of the 3, I chose Reface Cabinets to do the work for me. When I met with the owner, Dennis Callaghan, I was impressed that his company uses local suppliers and where possible all of the products are made in America. His price was not the the cheapest, but I felt Reface Cabinets would provide me with the quality results I expected and would provide superior service and warranties. My expectations were met and I am extremely happy with my new kitchen cabinets. Dennis's crew showed up on time each day and cleaned up the area at the end of the day. The install only had one minor glitch where one door did not fit. Dennis had that door replaced quickly; however one of my door knobs got misplaced. Dennis took care of the problem by offering to replace (at his expense) all of the knobs so the replacement would be a complete match. I am extremely pleased with the final product and would use Reface Cabinets for any other cabinets work that I may need.

It was a great experience overall. Dennis and his crew are very professional, kept to their time commitments and are very pleasant to do business with. Their work exceeded my expectations and I would certainly recommend Reface Cabinets to anyone. Communication was easy, and since most of the planning was done via email, it was especially convenient for me as I live most of the time in Hawai'i. Distance didn't matter in this case and I'm happy everything worked out so well. Our kitchen looks brand new, modern, and wonderful!

The customers chose a beautiful look with high gloss acrylic laminate material with contemporary doors. This material is a premier product made by Norther Contours, and is comparable in price to doing refacing with solid hardwood and mitered doors. In this case the customers chose to do their island in Wired Cobalt which is a deep blue, and did the wall cabinets in a light color named Smoke. We usually do not resell granite directly but have the customer work with our partner company for counter tops. In this case since the customer was remote in Hawaii, we supplied the ultra white granite she chose. The countertop ends were done in a vertical waterfall with the granite. All in all the changes from original builder grade light stained wood cabinets to the ultra modern look the customer wanted are night and day different and the effect of the changes is striking. The customer posted a photo. Unfortunately Angie's List doesn't have a way for vendors to post pictures of jobs with these reviews, or we would put up a set of before and after photos. If you are looking for the high gloss acrylic look in your project, please contact us for a set of before and after photos.

This job was for a large kitchen and Master bath. We did an off white/van dyke brown clean glaze in the kitchen with an Espresso dark stained Maple island. The master bath was refaced in black. One thing we hadn't run into before, the client wanted to put a trash pull out in an area which was just slightly too narrow for any of the standard soft close trash pulls made to be mounted with a straight pull out door. We typically use Rev-A-Shelf soft close single or dual bin models. Our cabinet shop pulled through and make a custom unit to fit the space, mounted on Blum BluMotion glides, and got it done in less that 24 hours.

This review is long overdue but nonetheless sincere. We are very pleased with our new refaced kitchen cabinets. Our 1978 era kitchen looked beat up and dark, but now it looks like we are in a totally different house! I had seen the usual coupons in the local mailers for other vendors, but their negative Angie?s lists reviews gave me pause. I wasn?t looking for the cheapest, but the BEST solution. Dennis Callahan made several trips to show us samples and walk through ideas. He explained our options as far as paint colors and trim. He kept in touch by phone and email frequently. I cannot say enough praise about the crew. Mark, Daniel and Chris were top notch and meticulous. They were flexible about scheduling. When informed we were unable to offer the garage as a staging area, they set up a canopy area in the driveway to work. They worked steadily, answered our questions, cleaned up daily, and clearly took pride in their work. I would enthusiastically recommend them to anyone looking for a quality job.

I had contacted a couple other companies and wasn't able to find the right fit, one contractor was quite arrogant with my design plan to relocate and keep my double ovens (in addition to free standing stove) Another gave an estimate, but not itemized. We knew we would wanted to work with Dennis on our first meeting, he really understood that we wanted to see the a-la carte pricing for each option, this allowed us to work within our budget and decide which features were most important to us. I had a very specific design in mind, and Dennis worked carefully with his suppliers and commissioned some of these pieces without adding upcharges.. Details are extremely important, and Dennis insured the estimate and then the contract was extremely clear with every line item, including immediately posting change orders as we progressed through the work The job entailed tearing our of much existing cabinetry, and coordination of electrical, plumbing and some other work done ourselves, Dennis's has a very pleasant team of contractors and they were flexible in proving adequate time in between for us have the incremental completed before installing the new cabinets, The job took a bit longer than expected due to some issues with some of the custom pieces, but overall everything was completed to our satisfaction and we are thrilled with the look of our 'new' kitchen. We definitely recommend this company.

This was a great project to work on. As the customer noted, she had some very specific design details she wanted implemented. For example we built a 6'6" wide wood vent hood to go over a very large range. It has beautiful curved support columns and numerous raised panel details and incorporates a mantel. Wish there was a way to post photos attached to review responses, as words do not do it justice. In addition to refacing 1/2 the kitchen including a large island, and replacing an entire 18 1/2 foot wall of upper and lower cabinets, we also built two 9' tall 42" wide custom book case units for her family room. One thing we hadn't run into before was a requirement for glass doors with curved Mullion dividers. The customer specified four such glass doors. The pattern was two half circles vertically which intersected ~1/3 and 2/3 of the way from the top and bottom. I was floored that our door vendor wanted an extra $375 per door to make the curved mullions on the raw maple doors. After checking around I found that was the going rate for that type curved mullion design. I will post some photos in our Gallery soon.

They did a great job with great attention to detail. They were always careful to protect the surface of the cabinets during the install which I really appreciate! They were on time and finished earlier than originally anticipated. I had a small problem with one of the pullout drawers the day after the installation was completed. Dennis from Reface came out that very day and quickly took care of it for me. It was a positive experience working with them. The finished product is beautiful!

This was a very pretty job with a chocolate brown clean glaze over an antique white and she elected to have an espresso stained Maple island. As the customer reported, things went as they should, with no surprises. Just how we like them to go.

Dennis was meticulous in surveying my kitchen and making optional recommendations, all of which were good ones and we accepted. He was prompt with quotes and documents for signing. The team that did the install was cracker jack and friendly. The quality of the products and installation was excellent. I had all doors replaced with solid maple with mitered edges and all drawer fronts with the same. They also built all new drawers and full extension pullouts which we half-bling dovetail. All doors and drawers were installed with new soft close slides and hinges. They hauled off all old doors and and drawers as well. If you want to get your kitchen spruced up, Dennis and his team will not disappoint!

In addition to the work the customer mentioned, we tore out an unused desk and replaced it with a custom made base cabinet section. We also extended his island a foot to put an open shelf for cook books on the end. Almost half our jobs involve some reconfiguration work and or a new cabinet or two. We can make any custom cabinetry piece needed, or just do simple modifications to existing cabinets. Popular modifications include cutting the base cabinet to replace a cook-top with a free standing range, making a fridge case, installing a free standing pantry, installing an outdoor vented range hood, and modifying or replacing an island. In many cases the real choices aren't just refacing vs. replacing. Often times the best solution does combine refacing with some specialized reconfiguration work.

I am extremely pleased with the result. Dennis and his team are professionals. I saved over $20,000 and had the full use of my kitchen throughout the process. They finished exactly in the amount of time forcasted. My kitchen looks brand new.
Description of Work: I was looking at a complete kitchen remodel, but chose to reface instead. They presented options and ideas for staying within my budget and helped me coordinate appliance deliveries and countertop installation so I didn't experience any down-time at all. Refacing involves replacement of all the doors, hinges, drawer fronts (plus glides if requested), trim pieces, and the wood veneers where they are exposed.

This project provided some interesting challenges. As the customer mentioned, we needed to minimize downtime while doing some modifications in addition to the refacing work. As an example, he wanted to replace a cook-top with a freestanding range so we cut the existing cabinet out when we came to measure the job. He had the new range sitting there, so the plumber connected up the gas to the new range and it was slid in with no downtime. At one point a new hardwood floor was installed over an old floor and the dishwasher was nearly trapped under the counter top and behind the 3/4" high edge of the new hardwood floor which ran in front of it. Before the granite guys came to measure the new countertops, we took off the island top, and raised the floor under the dishwasher with a piece of 3/4" thick sub floor ply wood. Then we shimmed up the island cabinet top height 3/4" so the there would be room to get the dishwasher in and out after the new granite was installed. We had the same kind of issue to deal with under a huge built in sub zero fridge which was also behind the 3/4" new flooring lip, and there was also some water damage to the sub floor under that fridge. We co-originated getting furniture movers in to wrestle the 700 lb fridge out, once we opened up the cabinet over it, and they stood by for a couple of hours while we repaired the floor and raised it up 3/4". That worked out pretty well as they had a 3 hour job minimum anyway, and then they put the big fridge back in place. We also built and installed a custom outdoor exhausting wood vent hood for the new range. This was a medium-large kitchen, as as noted there was a a good bit of extra work besides the refacing. As the customer mentioned, he would have spent ~$35,000 to rip and replace instead of $15,000 to reface his kitchen and do the other mods. Our place in the market is to offer a good value on top quality work and that is exactly what we delivered for this customer.

Dennis provided us with much information and suggestions to correct the problems that existed in our kitchen. The team was professional, punctual and worked to make us happy with the results. Dennis provided us with a sample of the color match for our approval, well before the project was undertaken. The carpenters that measured the project were those that did the installation and worked the project to its completion. During installation when an issue occurred, it was immediately brought to our attention and resolved. Overall they were a competent and professional team and we are very happy with the results.
Description of Work: The cabinets on one side of the kitchen were redesigned to correct poor workmanships of a our original contractor. In doing so, the team worked with us to change the position of the appliances to create a built-in look. In addition we had slow close hinges put in, cabinet doors replaced, color corrected and moldings repaired.

This was the first time we did a "rescue" project to fix another contractor's shoddy work, and it was great to be able to get their kitchen looking the way it should. I couldn't believe what a poor job the original contractor did on details such as how he'd run some of the crown molding. Everything worked out well, and we were able to finish up as scheduled, so they could get their hardwood floors redone the following week while they were gone on vacation.

Reface Cabinets were a pleasure to work with. Dennis Callahan is very knowledgeable as the primary sales contact and helped educate us on the entire process. He and this firm is very committed to integrity and quality, which we indeed saw through the entire installation process. Mark and his son, Daniel, were the crew that measured and installed our cabinets refacing and doors. Their work was of extremely high quality. My husband does woodworking as a hobby and has very high standards on craftsmanship; he was quite impressed with their work. All nail holes are completely invisible and there was no caulking done to make up for gaps that we've experienced from other contractors. By a long shot, they have been the best contractors we've ever hired for house projects and would not hesitate to use them again. There were no short cuts made and I was completely comfortable if I had to leave the house with them alone in it. Daniel also has great trouble-shooting abilities as we were trying to figure out an issue with one of our doors & hinges due to our tight space in one of our kitchen corners and the results were awesome. Our kitchen went from country to modern and looks like a totally different space. Unless we mention it, no one has guessed we refaced them; they thought we completely gutted our kitchen. When people want further detail, they can't believe it for the price we paid. Overall, it was an outstanding experience and feel we got a brand new kitchen at a fraction of the price.

We really enjoyed working with these customers. One of their objectives was to reduce the space between their cabinet doors, by increasing the door overlay. This sounds easy to do, but in practice is time consuming to specify the maximum size doors without running into problems with hinge clearance between them. Laying out doors by redesigning the overlay for minimum spacing between is a value added service we do have to charge extra for. Our guys are masters of doing this.

The company owner worked closely with us, over two separate visits to our home, to address each and every requirement we had for complete refacing of our 30+ old kitchen cabinets. Dennis answered all our questions and didn't rush us one bit. He was quite patient and helpful which was invaluable to us given that we had never undertaken such a project before. The installers, Mark and Daniel, were real professionals, both in workmanship and customer relationship building. Given that one of our cabinet structures had sagged over the years, the refacing job met a few challenges that had to be overcome by close attention to detail. Yet the job was done in the planned 2.5 day period with no delays. Mark and Daniel were extremely patient and helpful answering all our questions and ensuring that the most trivial of tasks went according to our wishes. We had a minor request a few days after installation was complete. Mark came out the very next day and took care of the issue in 20 minutes time. We are thrilled with the look of our new kitchen. Though the cabinets themselves are over 30 years old, the refacing job has them looking brand new, and we love the look of the solid wood door design that we chose. The doors and drawers work smoothly and flawlessly. I would encourage anyone that is considering new cabinets to reconsider and evaluate refacing instead. And I strongly recommend Reface Cabinets LLC for the job. You would be hard-pressed to find a provider that matches them in quality for a reasonable price. Oh, and as for price, I had invited two other providers to quote on the job. One quote was 50% higher and the other was similar but that provider never followed up with us as did Reface Cabinets.

I called for an estimate for doors and drawer refacing only and was immediately given a ball park cost estimate. After discussing the value of a complete refacing I made an in-home appointment for a complete renovation. We decided to go forward with the complete renovation which included pull out baskets under the counter and louvered laundry closet doors. We chose the style and color from samples. Received the quote for the job and the lead time the next day. Precise measurements were required and some modifications to a door was necessary due to the location of our refrigerator relative to space required for the pull out shelves. All Reface Cabinets LLC personnel were courteous and friendly throughout the process. We were kept informed during the period of fabrication of the refacing materials. We were called to make the appointment for installation ~ at the end of the original lead time estimate. The installers arrived early on the install date and completed the installation in one full long day. They cleaned up, loaded all scrap and offal, then left. The end product is very nice and we are very pleased with the result.

The customer came to us looking for a cost effective solution to a cabinet issue. They were rehabbing some builder white cabinets and were going to have them repainted white in place, but quite a few of the original doors had typical MDF issues of splitting and swelling. We provided them a good number of new paint grade solid Maple doors and drawer fronts primed and ready for finishing. After their painter got done with his part, we installed the drawer fronts and hung the door on new soft close Blum hinges.
