We were lucky enough to be able to purchase our first home in a buyers market, with historically low interest rates and a federal tax credit of $8000. Closing went fine and we still had time to file our federal taxes before the 4/15 deadline. I came to find out that we could get the $8000 credit on our federal taxes NOW, and we didn't have to wait until 2011! That certainly helped us furnish our new home. The extra 2-3 days time to file for this credit was created by Jodi's suggestion.

We had the good luck to find Jodi as our agent all the way from Texas. My husband was being transferred to Atlanta and we really did not know much about the area.
