Description of Work: Home Appreciators helped us get a previously rented house ready for sale. They painted the interior, replaced the front door, and coordinated the replacement of carpet and broken sliding door glass. They took care of wood rot, an unstable deck, landscaping, and many smaller details. The house was ready for the market and sold quickly because of their work.

 + 1 moreHome Appreciators was with us from the very start of our home search. They went with us to look at homes (Stacy Carter is a licensed Realtor) and helped us understand what it would cost to take a very outdated house and make it into what we wanted. They gave us detailed estimates and planning advice. They started the work on the day we closed and within six weeks had re-done three bathrooms (one was ripped down to the studs and completely remodeled), the entire kitchen, refinished floors and a bunch of drywall work. Throughout the process, they gave us good advice and helped us use our money well. They had a lot of great advice about cost-effective materials and approaches - no snobbery here. They have a great team of professionals who do high quality work and are very respectful of your house. It was a wonderful experience and we are thrilled with how it turned out. One thing I appreciated was their punch list process. Very few loose ends -- no nagging about getting stuff done months after the start date.
Description of Work: Home Appreciators took our kind of dumpy house built in the mid 70s and did major, major updates before we moved in. These included:- Complete demolition and renovation of a master bath including construction of a walk-in shower, moving of toilets and other plumbing, new tile floor, new vanity lighting and fixtures- Remodeling of two additional bathrooms including new tile surround in one, new floors in both, installation of new vanities in both- Remodeling of kitchen including significant reconfiguration of cabinets, professional painting, relocating an island, installation of all new appliances, new granite countertops, under-cabinet lighting, etc.- Refinishing an hardwood floors in main floor- significant drywall work - installed three ceiling fans, several electrical outlets, general "fixing" that houses need.
