Hired company to install hardwood floors. Job was very bad. Hired an expert to inspect the floors due to problems that started within 6 months of the floors being installed. Company ignored my calls and e-mails during the warranty period so I had to hire a lawyer in an effort to get the floors fixed. Had to go to court in 2008, duirng court the company agreed to pay me and provide new wood and after two years has never fulfilled the agreement. Will be goind back to court in early 2011, hopefully, to get this company to own up to the warranty and settlement. Check out the DeKalb County Court records for confirmation of this report. I found out, after I had the floors done, that this company was also sued by another party. Wish I had Angie's list back in 2005!

We visited Hardwood Floors Center looking for a solution suitable for a basement office in a room set up, as an in-law suite, with kitchen counters, a large room, and an adjacent bathroom. Tom Manicone recommended WilsonArts laminate flooring, a melamine floor that looks amazingly like wood, yet comes with a 20 year wear guarantee. We decided to do the kitchen area and the bathroom with the WilsonArts floors, and carpet the "bedroom" area. We had found some carpeting that we really liked at another store. Though it wasn't one that HWC normally carried, Tom was able to find the exact carpet from the manufacturer and give us a better price than the other store. The installers showed up on time, did an excellent installation job on the hard flooring, and cleaned up their mess. The day the carpet was available more installers arrived, did an excellent job installing the carpet and pad, and removed all their mess.
