This is my 2nd time with Redfern. I didn't hesitate to hire again after the great service they gave a few years ago with a rather large job of removing/trimming several large trees in my backyard. This time I had them remove a large maple tree in my front yard that was creating too much shade for my Bermuda lawn. There was a 2nd large maple, but Azur suggested just removing the first one and they'd then take a look at how that affected the shade and trim any necessary lower branches on the 2nd tree, which is what we did. I also had two dead/dying cypresses in the back yard near a fence to remove. The smaller one was easy, but for the 2nd one they had to rope it off from the top and then cut it at the bottom leaving it suspended in the air! They could then move it away from the fence and cut it into pieces. I was really impressed with the professional technique they used to avoid having the tree fall on the fence. There clean-up was great. Very thorough. One guy even walked the yard picking up small twigs, some of which had nothing to do with the tree work! The large maple had stump grinding, which had to be done a couple days later. That two man crew did a fine job, and again great clean up. They don't remove the grinding mulch (which is disclosed up front), but they raked a bit it to spread it out some in the natural area where the tree was located. The only slight disappointment was they couldn't do the job as soon as I would have liked, but that was because of a lot of rain that delayed other jobs in front of me. However, when I later called the office for scheduling status the office associate found out they had a crew nearby what would finish late in the day on that job and they could then fit me in. I appreciated that!

Refdfern Tree Service was hired after soliciting bids, checking references and insurance certificates. We had them remove five 25 year old Leland Cypress trees that were either dead, dying or leaning toward our home. This was not an easy job because of the tight work area and size of the mature trees. Azur was a pleasure to deal with as was his crew. They arrived on time with all needed equipment as promised. From beginning to end it took 6 hours to take down the trees, grind up the tree material and clean up. The crew was professional, cautious and very careful not to damage the surrounding plants or lawn area. When they left, the site was cleaned up thoroughly as if they were never there. We are extremely pleased with the work and they would be our first call if we needed additional work. We recommended them to a neighbor and suggested he come by to see the work in progress. After the visit, he selected them to remove a tree from his property and trim several others. We feel the price pf $2,100 was reasonable given the amount of work required as well as the site limitations.

These guys did an awesome job removing the trees and cleaning up ALL debris, very impressed. They were at the house just before 8:00am and left by 4:30. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again and would recommend with full confidence.

I had called a company I had previously used for a first estimate. Estimate was written on the back of a business card. No written estimate was given to us, and their price was much higher. Just to compare, I called Redfern Tree Service for their estimate. We were so surprised to find out that Redfern was much more affordable. We knew with the many trees that would be cut that this might be a costly project. Amir was on time, responsive to questions. His crew was very punctual, considerate of our property and did an outstanding job! We are now waiting on the underground utilities to locate cables underground for the final stump grinding. We would definitely use Redfern Tree Service again.

Excellent service from the original site visit to the estimation process to the removal of the trees. They did such a good job, I cannot tell where the trees were in the back yard. Very professional and responsive. They arrived on time and finished in one day. I would recommend Redfern.

It went very well. Amir is very professional. The trees were diseased and removed. Amir is not interested in removing trees that are still good. The work was done within the promised time. One of the trees was in really bad shape, but they succeeded in removing it without endangering anyone or anything else. They have a smaller stump grinder machine, the size of a large lawn mower, which was good for us, because there are many trees on our property that stand close to each other. The grinding did not affect the other trees. The other companies we contacted all had larger machines and were not sure the grinding could be done all the way, without affecting the other trees or having to remove some items. I would also like to commend Roberto Austria for the way he handled the payment. This was the second time we contacted this company. Work was done well. Professionalism.

They work on whole or half day. They cut down and trimmed trees.

They were very good. They were recommended to us by our homeowners association. The price was reasonable for the work.

Following a severe storm in our area on June 13, we had some damage to several large trees (as did many neighbors). Redfern was recommended by our neighbors. Angie's list reviews were so positive - I was impressed. I phoned to request an estimate 4 days after the storm. Response was slow, but I understood - all tree service companies were busy. They promised to arrive on Wed, Jun 19. No one came. No one called. I left a message requesting an estimate again, to give them the benefit of doubt for backed up requests. It took a couple more calls to get Amir out - on July 1st! He told me the estimate would be emailed the next morning. Did not receive. It was sent July 3rd, when we were leaving for vacation. On July 8th when I returned from vacation, I called to discuss the estimate and schedule the work. Was told Amir would contact me 'soon' - no later than Friday - to schedule. This did not happen. So this morning I called one more time - and was told 'you have to understand, we are backed up from the storm'. A full month later. No, I do not understand. Terrible communication from this company. If they were too busy to take more work - they should have said so, so I could look for another provider. I did have 2 other estimates from companies with much lower prices (one nearly half as expensive), but they had some poor reviews on Angie's List - so I was going to go with Redfern even though they were the most expensive. I will not be using them now. And I don't recommend them. Common courtesy should be a hallmark of customer service. They did not care to respect my time or my needs. I'm a business owner myself - and if I treated prospective clients this way - I would be out of business.

Azur graciously accommodated me by coming out to my home twice. He initially came to provide me with an estimate, and then he returned to meet with a landscape designer that I will hire in the future. I was pleased with how he and the landscape designer, with whom he's worked in the past, bounced ideas off of each other to help me get the best landscaping design that I could. Azur explained the process for the fairly well. The crew showed up on time for the first day of the work. The only faults that I had with Redfern had to do with: (1) Azur was not on-site throughout the course of the project to supervise the work that his crew was doing and (2) Redfern took a week to return to my home to complete the work that they began. I was not aware that it would take the crew such a long time to return to complete the work, despite the fact that a lot of work was done on my property. And, after initially interacting with Azur, I was not aware that he would not be present to supervise the majority of the work. Although the site supervisor that managed the crew in Azur's absence was pleasant (and a good English-Spanish translator), it was sometimes difficult to communicate things that needed to be done on my property. For example, I had to repeatedly insist that the crew completely clean up all of the tree debris before leaving the job. I felt as though I was the supervisor in some instances, and I felt as though this might not have been the case had Azur been on-site. The price of the work was significantly less expensive than most other companies' estimates. Some companies wanted to charge me as much as $4,500. I received estimates from 5 companies. Although I have no other experience to compare this one with, the quality of the work was good, too. Redfern's receptionist, Katrina, was very professional over the phone. She promptly responded to my inquiries, and her professionalism was definitely a motivator for me choosing Redfern over other companies. Overall, the experience with Redfern was good.

I called Redfern Tree Inc. to get a quote for tree removal. They promptly returned my call and Amir Osmanbasic came to my house within a couple of days for the estimate. He was very professional and gave me a quote immediately on the spot. He offered to submit my tree removal permit with the City of Alpharetta, but I had already taken care of the permit. Amir asked me to mark all of my sprinkler heads so that they would not be damaged during the work and assured me that the grass would not be destroyed (they would put plywood over the grass). I printed a coupon from Angie's list for free stump removal from Redfern Tree, Inc. and Amir honored the coupon with no problems. Redfern's crew showed up and removed 58 trees (differing in size) and ground up all of the stumps within a couple of hours. His crew cleaned up my yard and blew everything with a leaf blower. They also helped my son put his basketball goal back up- it had fallen with the wind we had earlier that day. I am very pleased with Redferm Tree, Inc. and would recommend them and use them again.

They are excellent.The work went so smooth, it was perfection. The owner came to look at the area, gave me a perfect estimate, and it was perfectly set up. The crew was on time and they laid planks down. Nothing was damaged. They cut them down like clockwork.

Redfern came out within a few days of my initial call, gave me a competitive price, and started the work shortly afterwards. They did an excellent job with protecting my front lawn, removal of the trees and cleanup. They also came back a few weeks later to grind the stumps, per my request, due to the timing of the landscape project. Overall, my experience was excellent with this company and I would use them again.

From initial visit and quote, to the work and cleanup this was a professional operation. Azur Oznanbasic was very reassuring about our concerns with so much of the work being near the house. He was also very up front about the extra work that would be required to take down the large tree near the house and the expense involved. The work was done promptly and professionally. His crew was very friendly and when I would go out to see how thing were going the crew-members were all very friendly and willing to explain what they were doing. One important factor I believe was their experience and the fact that members of the crew had been with Redfern for over 10 years. I think that speaks very highly to their competence and to Mr. Oznanbasic's management and relationship with his crews. Well done.

Although, this was a relatively small job, I decided to get three quotes from different local tree services in order to have a good idea of the pricing for this type of work. Amir Osmanbasic at Redfern Tree, Inc arrived promptly as scheduled to prepare an estimate. He took time to walk the property and talk with me about Redfern's methods, and prepared the estimate on site - all in under an hour. The other two services were as thorough with their inspection of the work, but one did not return a written estimate and the other was just slightly more expensive by about $50. Amir and his office assistant, Katrina, provided very responsive communication in scheduling the work and with a few questions that I had. They were able to schedule the work around my schedule and soon after the estimate was done. On the day that the work took place, a crew of three arrived 5-10 minutes ahead of the scheduled time. They set up the equipment, and I spoke with the foreman to review the work to be done. Juan, the foreman, was very conscientious and thorough, it was impressive to watch him climb the large trees. In all, I estimate that they worked half a day, and completed everything that was included in the estimate to my satisfaction. The crew did great work and were efficient, and the trees look much healthier now that the dead wood has been removed. I really appreciated their attention to detail and was happy with how they cleaned up all the leaf and limb debris afterwards. Thanks Redfern - I will happily recommend you and will call you again if we need more work done in the future!!

The owner was extremely nice and very professional. At first I thought the quote was a bit high, but they had about 5 men working all day on the job, so I changed my mind. They cleaned up nicely and managed to save the landscape lighting I had embedded in one of the trees.

I set up an appointment with this provider for Fri., 6/15, which was yesterday. I was very much looking forward to the appointment because of their great reviews. If I didn't take yesterday's appointment, I was going to have to wait another week. I had to be away from home all day and evening yesterday so I made arrangements to leave and come home for the estimate and return after. That meant a 30 min. drive home, 2 hr. wait time, and 30 min. back. They didn't show up!!!I called the the Redfern office at 10 min. prior to the window closing. The girl told me the computer had done something wrong concerning my appointment. She said that she was sorry about the mix up and called the owner immediately. She then called me back and said that he would come to my home tomorrow even though they usually didn't do estimated on Sat. I told her that he could give me a call. I have never heard from him. It is now 6:22 pm on Sat.I cannot imagine being the owner of a company and not calling a customer that had just been stood up AND not calling the next day when the customer has been told that you would call.This would not be as bad if I hadn't had to make special arrangements to be here.His response to the mistake bothers me more than the mistake as we can all make them.

The crew was professional, able,seemed to work very safely, and took care not to crush some sapplings and small trees that were surviving between the tall pines that we were removing. That means that we could keep some of the small hardwoods now that the diseased pines are gone. They were easy to communicate with, such as when the dog needed to be let out, and they were very good at protecting the property. This is the best experience I've had with a tree service.

They don't service Tucker, GA and they are located in Roswell. It is only 20 miles!!
