It takes about 10 to 15 tries before I can get a live person on the phone, if I ever get one. They have pricing that is sky high. I have used them many times and decided to go elsewhere. I have spent $6,173 with them over the years. They are just too hard to deal with and the pricing has made too much of an increase. For example the annual maintence price went from $392 to $731.35 in one year. and that is for replacing about 40 bulbs and checking aim on fixtures cutting branches etc.
Description of Work: I had them do an anuual maintenace on my lighting system.

I had a horrible experience with Firefly LLC. I've tried for the last 8 months to schedule a service call but goes into his voice mail and NEVER replies. I've used other cell phones, in which he will pick up the phone, only to find out it is me, and he's very sorry, and will make the next appt., ONLY to ''no show'' again. It's ironic when calling Firefly, because seldom (Matthew)picks up the phone; It goes into this huge voice mail system, and if you stay on the line, a receptionist will be with you shortly, (only it always goes in to Matthew's voice mail.) It leaves you with an impression, you're dealing with this huge, successful company, when all along, it appears it's a 1 man operation, that does not deal with service calls. On the bottom of the contract, under comments: Lifetime warranty on all fixtures, transformers, and workmanship. It's a nice feature, but useless if the worker won't return calls and avoid service calls at all cost.
Description of Work: Exterior Lighting. When contacted Firefly, they came out, gave us an estimate, and gave us a referral in the area, which we followed up with (even though they had just installed their lighting, and had no "history" with regards to service calls). Roughly, 6 months after installation, 1 lens cracked and another light had a defective seal beneath the lens. I made my first call late April early May for a service call, in which he said he'd come out and fix, but never showed. Each month followed with a phone call but ALWAYS went to his voice-mail. I called from my cell phone (different number) and he picked up, thinking I was a new customer, I told him that he needed to replace the defective lights. He told me he had replaced them, so I thanked him for his efforts, ONLY to find, when I arrived home, the lights were not repaired. I called back, and of course, it went to his voice mail. My wife used her cell phone to set up an appt. for Dec 19th @ 9am but never showed.
