Description of Work: This was an Angies list Big Deal. They did a general inspection of the roof. It's been a while since the work was done. I do remember the follow up phone call from the company that recomended some additional work. The suggestions were all to prevent further damage. I was impressed with their professionalisim. I will use them again.

Description of Work: He checked out the small leak and put some sealant under the shingles to see if that would solve the problem, which it has. He also gave me an estimate should the quick fix not work. He was very pleasant to work with

Description of Work: The Roof Dr. fixed a problem area near the front door of the house. It was an issue with how the previous roofing company did not properly put a guard near the bricks, so when it would rain hard we were getting overflow and moldy bricks. The Roof Dr. did a great job fixing the problem. I was very happy with their work and would use them again.

Description of Work: Replaced a turbine vent that had blown off in a storm. Small job that alot of roofers dont wish to do. Dr Roof was A plus all the ways, came right out, did the job and at a very reasonable price. Prompt, professional and courteous.

Description of Work: I called for an estimate on replacing a roof on a home I am purchasing. They told me that, because I did not own the home, there would be a $95 fee for the estimate. I had already gotten two estimates from other companies that charged no such fee. Ridiculous! I guess they weren't interested in my business. Hard to believe in this day and age.

Description of Work: Don't know if the issue of undocumented labor is important to Angie's members. I have a feeling my comment will not be posted. I asked several roofing companies if they would certify that the crew working on my roof would be composed of legally documented or U.S. citizen workers. Instead of answering my question, a Dr. Roof employee asked if I had made an appointment. When I repeated my question, I received a terse reply: "Please do not email me again. Thank you." Only a couple of the companies I asked were willing to certify their workers were legal, so Dr. Roof isn't unusual. But I thought the response was unprofessional and unresponsive. A simple "No" would have sufficed.

Description of Work: James Crow was the representative who came out. He was thorough, answered ALL my questions (and I had a lot.) Came back with shingle samples another day. He put the ladder against the house, climbed up and laid the samples (about 7 of them) on the roof so I could see how they would look from the street. He was instrumental in speaking with my insurance adjuster and was willing to meet with them (ended up not being necessary) to measure the house and show them a discrepancy in their measurements (the insurance company was using satellite images instead of actual measurements with a tape.) The company was prompt, organized, clean, efficient and very hard working. They stayed late (almost til dark) to make sure they finished on time. Would HIGHLY recommend you consider using them! The estimate was not much different than what the insurance company was reimbursing me for a 30 year shingled roof. James made some recommendations that I found helpful.
