I’m Eddie Galvao and I started working installing pavers and retaining walls in the Sunshine State more than 20 years ago. Back then, I was mostly a middle man contractor for other larger companies, but felt the need for something bigger. Throughout the process, it became evident that customer satisfaction and effective project management were not priorities for them. Here’s a timeline of the most critical issues I experienced: Excessive Project Timeline and Disruption: This project spanned nearly five months, from early April to late September, turning my yard into a construction site for the entire summer. Yanover's repeated delays and lack of coordination meant that I couldn't use my yard or deck for most of the season, resulting in significant inconvenience. Initial Delays and Communication Issues: After making my first payment in April, I received plans that had errors, were incomplete, delivered late and required revisions, causing delays. After two coats of the semi-transparent stain I chose, I had to settle for a solid stain to cover the poor work, adding even more time to my already delayed project. Throughout this process, Yanover demonstrated poor communication, unreliable scheduling, and a clear disregard for client satisfaction. I expected professional oversight and clear communication from a construction company, but instead, I faced ongoing frustration and an end product that didn’t meet initial expectations.
