Dave Ward provided re-finishing of the main floor of our home. After completing the work and waiting a day for it to dry, the edges of rooms were done completely unprofessionally, with a different coloring and blurring effect that to even the untrained eye one could see was completely wrong and had to be redone. We made a fatal mistake of paying him in full the day he was finishing the work before we could actually see the final result. I wish I could include pictures of the work here because you would laugh at how bad the quality of the work was. His immediate response was he provided no warranty for his work, would not return or perform any fixes to the problem, and would not provide any refund. We have to hire a new company to completely re-do the work, have lost $3800 from this scam artist who left the floors worse than when he started, and will be pursuing collecting our money for likely years to come now through small claims court judgement and collection.

Totally unsatisfactory. Within 6 weeks I began to see white spots (wear spots) on the floors, it is like the finish has worn off. I was not here when he did the work, but I contracted to have three coats but it does not seem to be the case. I have tried to resolve this issue with Dave himself and he refuses to handle the situation.
Description of Work: They finished the floors on my first floor.

The floors look great - better than new. They put a little higher shine on. They moved and put back all the furniture. I would have liked them to cover more of the cabinets, pictures, etc., otherwise they did a great job.
Description of Work: They lightly sanded the entire main floor of the house - kitchen, family room, dining room, and halls. They then applied 3 coats of stain.
