Laura was patient with me and provided good info and samples while I did homework trying to figure out what I wanted to do. I had a flood on the 1st level and had engineered wood installed on top of concrete slab. The adhesive glue (Bostik Greenforce w/Axios) they used was perfect for my situation. The installers (Juan , Christian and Velma. ) liked it because it?s easy to work with and easier clean ups. I liked it because you can apply on dry concrete slab without concern for the higher moisture readings in some spots. It?s also has low VOCs (Volatile Organic Compounds-gases) which can cause allergic reactions, respiratory issues, etc. and it creates a moisture barrier on the concrete slab which I needed. I enjoyed watching Christian figuring out wood cuts needed for tight spots with minimal clearance. He?s very good at his trade. On my next project I won?t hesitate to call Daniel Floors but will wait for the availability of the same crew. They were all professional.

Perfect Job one time and excellent quality

My contact for the project was Laura, who came and measured the rooms and gave me a price. She was efficient and personable. A team of 2 men did a great job in the amount of time that had been projected. The house looks terrific, and the floors are beautiful. The house is old, and the floors were hidden. Now the house is bright and beautiful, not to mention more saleable. The experience of working with Daniels Floors was a positive one. I'd use them again in a heartbeat, and will recommend them to my neighbors on my neighborhood listserv.

From the very first moment of our first phone call , Laura went out of her way to be helpful! She came to give us an estimate in the evening ,on a weekend . She took time to answer all my questions ,and gave me confidence that Daniel's Floors would do a fabulous job. And they exceeded all my expectations ! At a Fair Price! Daniel. and his crew, Santos and Marc, were all personable , hard working, and very efficient. They always arrived on time , and cleaned up the work area before leaving each day . Both Laura and Daniel kept me updated on the whole project as it progressed. . I would use them again, and will recommend them to my friends and neighbors. We LOVE our new Floor!!

They moved all the furniture and did a wonderful job. They were very professional and they cleaned up when they were finished. I would highly recommend them.

Laura came out exactly when she said and gave a very professional quote. Daniel and team came when scheduled and patched in floor where wall was remove and installed new room of hardwood and refinished all hardwood. Very professional job, great communication, went above and beyond services expected. Would definitely recommend !

Laura came to do the appraisal and measuring, and we appreciated that she was available to come in the evening. After comparing her estimates and reviews to other providers, we selected her. Together, we arranged to have them pick up and deliver the flooring to acclimate indoors, and all of this went smoothly and easily. Installation took all day and into the evening. Overall, we were pleased, but in the dim light of night it was hard to see the result accurately. Also, I've been waiting to review because I wanted the floors to have some time to settle with the change of seasons. Some six months later, the floors seem to be holding up. My two small complaints: we ordered extra flooring and had two unopened boxes left over, but they weren't selective enough with which boards they installed. A handful of boards have some ugly knots in them, and at least one in each room is too light compared to the boards next to them. The knots aren't so bad that I notice them often, but the one light floorboard in our bedroom is all I can see when it's light out. I'm hoping it will darken over time, and I don't know that it's worth asking for them to come replace it. Second, the installation was super dusty. I wish I had been warned to put plastic on my blinds, etc. Maybe that's common knowledge; this was my first floor installation. Price-wise, they were an excellent value, and I would easily choose them again. I'd just be more direct and ask them to be choosier about the boards, which I took for granted (For floors with heavy coloration variation, this wouldn't be an issue, though).

Not long after the job was finished we noticed bright yellow spots appearing on the floors. After some scheduling hiccups and mis-communications Daniel's Flooring was able to come back and tell us what caused the strange "highlighter" spots and a simple easy way to fix them. The spots were caused by my drooling bulldog Shug, apparently an enzyme in her saliva reacted with the oil based poly and caused it to amber. The solution, Mr. Clean Magic Eraser and a whole lot of elbow grease. Thank you Laura for taking the time to find the cause and for coming up with an ingenious solution.

After much ordeal, I will now still have to hire someone else to correct the faulty work! Shoe molding trim has a gash cut in it and the trim doesn't meet or come together in the corner (about a 1/8 inch gap) and left water jug & beer cans in my yard.

We worked with Laura and her crew on this project, which was the complete sanding and refinishing of all the hardwoods in our home. The forty-five year old oak floors were a disaster as the house had been a rental for several years and carpeting had disguised their condition. We had been told by other companies that some of the stains would remain prominent after refinishing, but Laura assured us that she could do a great job. And that they did! The transformation was striking to say the least. The one section of floor that needed replacing was done to perfection; we couldn't tell the old floor from the newly repaired. They also did a super job of installing stained toe molding throughout. Laura was especially generous when she honored a price quote given nearly 18 months previous. We have moved into a new house, and I expect that we will be calling Daniels Flooring when these harddwoods need refinishing.

I had a "jack of all trades" refinish the floors on a house we purchased from the 60's. He ruined the floors by bouncing a rented floor sander gouging the wood. Daniels Floors came in and fixed them very nicely. Took us from tears to cheers. Nice crew that was prompt and cleaned up at the end of each day. Thanks Laura!

This is the second time I've used Daniels Floors and I love them. The customer service is outstanding, the installers are polite and very hard workers and the floors are beautiful! Back in November I had them come and remove 20+ year old carpet in the LR/DR and replace with hardwood floors. We loved it so much we had them back in February to remove 20+ year old wood laminate and replace with hardwood. We couldn't be happier. Laura helped me pick the color because there were just so many to choose from. She answers her phone day or night and has even responded to email after 11PM. The crews are neat and polite and their work is outstanding. They put up with questions from me, kids running around and barking dogs and they never complain. There is always at least one member of the crew that speaks English so communication is never a problem. I have been thrilled with their work and their high level of customer satisfaction. Daniels Floors has accommodated me every step along the way and I would not hesitate to call them again and refer them to everyone I know. There is not a more professional, hard-working, dedicated flooring company around. If you've been thinking about replacing or refinishing your floors, you would be doing yourself an injustice if you did not invite them out to give you an estimate.
