I turned in the report to my builder who has already started correcting things such nail pops; HVAC Air Intake issues; re-painting; Hardiplank siding replacement; attic insulation barrier...etc. We expect these issues and others will be resolved by closing.

Very professional and thorough. He was prompt and communicated with me before the inspection to make sure everything was ready for the inspection as well as informed me of what would be covered on the inspection. I was given a complete over view of the report and received a report that night that outlined everything and provided pictures. The inspector use top of the line equipment such as an infrared camera. I was very impressed with his professionalism and thoroughness. I would highly recommend this company!

Scott came out to do a complete home inspection on a house we are purchasing. The home is 3800+ square feet and it was built in 1968. He was very thorough and walked us through everything. His report was very complete, easy to understand and included major issues as well as some less urgent matters that we should look into taking care of at some point once we are in the home. Scott was patient, answered all of our questions and was just genuine and helpful with all of our concerns. I would recommend him and Dana Inspections to anyone who is looking for a very professional, genuine and helpful home inspector.

When we arrived at the home, Scott was already there and had begun inspecting the house. At the end of the inspection, Scott walked us through every problem he found, explaining the severity of each issue as well as typical approaches for mitigation. As first-time home buyers, we felt that Scott did a great job of explaining each issue to a house-illiterate audience. We received his full report in electronic format later that same day. The home inspection report is understandable, well-organized, and will play a critical role in our renovation planning. He got there on time and began working immediately. He was thorough and didn't miss anything. He walked me and my wife through the results and submitted a report promptly that evening. I have contacted him since the inspection and he was quick with all his responses. It was a pleasure to know that when he was done he didnt just ignore us like other inspectors.

We had Scott Dana perform 3 inspections for 3 different properties. All 3 inspections were great, thorough, detailed, and had accompanying pictures associated with each finding. The second inspection helped us see all the issues with the house. The third property already had an inspection report provided by the seller, but we hired Scott to provide us his, trusted opinion. Scott is straight forward and honest. He is also there for you after the inspection report to answer any questions and provide a professional perspective. On the recommendation of our realtor, we used Scott to inspect a potential new home. He was very professional and extremely thorough. He found items that previous inspectors had missed including two builder mistakes that were not observed by the former owners of the home. He uses Infra-Red imaging to find things that I'm certain others would have missed. He also gave us a really comprehensive report with photo documentation of every issue.
