Description of Work: They did a terrible paint job. Let trash in my place. Someone have to come and repaint 3 times. They also damaged my sofa. Never use this company.

Description of Work: They replaced the rotting boards on our entire chimney, |Repainted all plus some overhangs on the back of the house and two chimney caps. |We had three quotes and they were the lowest and were fantastic in service and timeliness. Communication was excellent as the head of the project spoke English and was very easy to work with when we added a few things and made some changes at no extra charge.

Description of Work: I am disappointed that after 8 months they still have not replace rotting wood on my home. The trim around the window was rotten and I was told it would be replaced. They just painted over it. I have called about 10 times only to be promised by Shannon that I would be put on the schedule. I even requested they email me and once again promised to put me on schedule and no followup. Description of Work: Called to see if someone could come out to quote on correcting/repairing an old ceiling repair. The woman on the other end said that they don't do small jobs. She then proceeded to inquire about the size of the repair and its dimensions or an approximation.I did not know the dimensions or an approximation so I indicated the repair is large. She wanted to refer me to someone else, a carpenter, they work with until she found out that the house would need painting, but the ceiling repair has to be done first. The overall painting will be the last piece of the upgrades, but she wanted to insist I do all of the home painting with the ceiling repair. The painting has to be last because the entire bathroom is being renovated.

Description of Work: We were completing a kitchen remodel and needed to repair and paint the walls and ceilings. They managed to fit us in on our schedule when they were extremely busy. Their communication with us was excellent. They showed up on time and did a great job. We are already working with them on a second painting project in our house.

Description of Work: I contacted the provider a few times by phone and email via the Angie's List site. The admin I spoke to was very nice and assured me after I didn't get any response initially from the manager, that she would have him contact me to discuss an estimate. The last contact was 10 days ago and I have still not received a call from the manager--the first call was well before that. Angie's should be considering how incredibly poor customer service will impact their credibility, if the provider won't even call potential customers back.

Description of Work: This was a fairly extensive interior painting project, involving most of the house. I was slightly concerned about hiring The Painting Company (note the name change) as their estimate was significantly lower than the next lowest. | |The job was originally scheduled to be 2-3 days. They arrived on a Monday. That day was mostly lost due to a vehicle breakdown. The job ended up taking much longer than estimated: the job ran through Friday into Saturday morning. We were less than excited about having the house in a mess for the extra days. | |That having been said, the job was just more complicated and required more work than originally thought. The overall quality was excellent. All of the trim was perfect. The walls had some significant damage which required repair, and the there was a significant color difference (light from dark) which required several coats of paint. | |So, although the job took somewhat longer than originally anticipated, the quality was excellent, and the price was significantly less than all other bids.

Description of Work: Painted interior, ceilings, and exterior trim and porch. Paint job was excellent, communication by project leader to painters was poor, communicating with painters was difficult due to language barriers. Had to tell them several times to do certain things that needed doing. Their paint expertise was very good, cleanup was just ok, as I'm still cleaning paint splatter from surfaces where they didn't use drop cloths. I would highly recommend their painters, however, they need guidance from their project manager. The customer should not have to be following them around making sure they do the job properly.

Description of Work: Great job and good experience overall. We brought up one issue that we only noticed after about 1 month had elapsed. They quickly came out and scheduled a team to come back in and correct. I would highly recommend this company.

Description of Work: Initial interview went well. Got a estimate and talked about when to get the job done. Scheduled once I got approval from the HOA. On the day before the job, got a call late saying they wouldn't make it the next day (Wednesday) because of a slowdown due to rain, but would be there Thursday. Showed up at 9:30 Thursday and got to work; completed the job around 7:30pm. Good, professional job.

The only reason they got a B was that there was a 3' section behind the front door that they overlooked and it needed both repair and repaint as discussed with the jobber. They came back to fix it and did a poor job there. Otherwise, I was very happy with the overall outcome;
