The front of the house is only 2-stories above ground. After prepping and painting the front myself, I decided to "bite the bullet" and pay someone to paint the rest of the house. There was no way that I could handle the other 3 sides, each being 3-stories plus the height of the A-frame gables. This was a big move for me, since I usually don't hire people to work on my house. I got several bids for the work. Someone suggested Angie's List. The (East) Atlanta Painting Company had good reviews, so they were one of the companies I called. Based upon the quality and timeliness of the proposals, I narrowed the choice to 2 companies. This company appeared to have lots of experience, good references, and their estimate was around the middle of the pack, a little under what I considered to be my not-to-exceed price for a quality job. Chris was straightforward and thorough with the estimate. The crew that painted the house did an excellent job. Truthfully, I am very pleased with the outcome. The first day they power washed every inch and got everything nicely prepped. All joints were properly caulked, and the painting was very professionally done. The paint crew was on-time and hard working. The carpenters did a good job on the chimney trim and window sill that needed replacement. We did have 2 minor things that needed resolution in the walk-thru. Those were handled quickly in a hassle-free manner. I am quite pleased. Our house has never looked this good, and I'm confident that the work was done right. I recommend this company, and will call on them again for future painting projects, assuming their pricing remains competitive.

Paul Caris provided the estimate. He was thorough, professional and prompt. He made recommendations, but did not push additional services. The company responded to my request for an estimate the day I submitted it, and were completely flexible arranging the in-person appointment. The estimate compared well with others. Frankly, the large number of references held by this company was one of the main reasons I hired them. The adjusted their schedule around my work schedule and the weather and finished as promised. The company uses top quality Sherwin Williams and Porter paints, but would have been willing to use other brands if I requested it; very thorough and professional across the board. They did an excellent job, cleaned up everything, protected surrounding services and landscaping and delivered what was promised. I would hire them again, and their work is backed by a sound warranty.

Chris from East Atlanta Painting was able to come out give me an estimate, set up an appointment for painting, and get my master bedroom painted and cleaned up within a week. I had some new furniture that I needed to have delivered due to arriiving out of town guests. These were the best painters I've ever hired. A new hardwood floor had just been installed the week before and Atlanta Painting took great care in protecting it. - No paint smudges or drops were detected. I have several other interior projects to be painted and will be calling them again, as well, as when it's time to paint the exterior.

Awesome job! Chris came and gave an estimate - very personable and professional. His price was in the middle of the other two quotes I had received, but I felt he would do the best job. The workers arrived on time and worked diligently until everything was done to our satisfaction. My husband is a perfectionist and they were happy to make sure he was pleased as the job progressed. Paul was good to check with us regularly to see if we had any issues. We had some questions about painting the stained cedar and Paul ran out on the spot to buy some stain to see if we should stain instead of paint. The job took a couple days longer than anticipated mainly due to the difficulty of removing the wallpaper, but we didn't mind as we were more concerned with the job being done right. Everything looks fantastic and I would recommend them highly.

overall was satisfied, chris was very professional and appeared to have a good sense of customer service and integrity, i was disappointed though when the workers came, they did not know the details that i had very carefully explained to Chris, so I felt like I had to explain everything again to the workers, and some of the preperation techniques Chris said the workers would do before painting to clean the surface and protect against mold build up were not done as agreed upon, final product turned out fine and workers were respectful, careful and did a good job overall, but i would have felt much better about the work if Chris had been present at the beginning of the job and communicated better with the workers so that everything i was expecting would have been done

Chris was very responsive and showed up at the date and time promised. He provided me with an estimate on the spot and I was impressed with his knowledge. His crew showed up on time and completed the work in only one day. The crew chief, David, was also excellent. Due to heavy rains the next day, there were some spots on the front deck that needed a touch-up and David came out and completed the work. I am extremely pleased with the price, service and results. By the way, his was one of four estimates I obtained.

They did a great job. They came in on time, took a look at the house and gave me a quote immediately. The following day, their painter came over, painted and cleaned the place before he left. He was very charming. I liked their services and will use the same in future.

They did a really good job! Chris came out to give us an estimate, he was on time, very detailed, professional, and answered all of my questions. We had several people come out to give estimates, and this company by far had the best price and they did an awesome job. They started on a Monday afternoon, and were finished by Wednesday morning. Very pleased, and will use them again in the future!

I've used them repeatedly. They have done both interior and exterior painting. They said it would take three days and they were done in two days. He loaded more people on the job. By loading more people, he was able to work with my requests because I had a dead stop in two days. I was happy that they got it done fast. They were fast and responsive for providing an estimate. The last time I did a comparison with other companies and they were probably mid-range. They were not the cheapest or the most expensive. I used them again because it saved me time by not having to go out and do a lot of quoting. They were flexible to my schedule because I am very busy and I travel. They told me that they would do the work on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. They called me on Monday and said they couldn't be here that day, so they were good in following up with me. I told them that they had to be done by Wednesday and they said ok. I thought it was good customer service to load additional people because of not being here on Monday. The cleanup was really good and they took it away with them. They covered all the furniture and moved it. I didn't care about the carpeting because I was replacing it. They had me inspect and did any last minute cleanup.

They did a good job of protecting areas around my home by covering a taping over all windows, door, etc. The painting process took approximately 3 days. Prior to clean-up they requested that I do an inspection. Once I approved they did a good job of cleaning up. One side of the fence was not painted to my satisfaction so the worker got the sales person on the phone. I told him what I didn't like and he had the worker redo the job.

It was seamless. Chris came out, was thorough in his explanation of the quote. He was able to get a team out the next week and get it all done in 4 days! We added on some of the work once we saw the great quality of the job. His price was the best and the work is second to none. I fully intend on recommending him and his company to everyone I know!

I called four painting companies in your mailed magazine and received estimates from three of them. The one I never heard from was the first to see the house and said he would email me an estimate that evening. He had my phone number and never emailed me and called back several days later. I called Chris Camp on Friday, April 11th after we had received his estimate from the Painting Co. I asked for a discount because I was a member of Angie's List. He said he would throw in the upgrade of $300 and 5 year warranty because I was a member and the painters could come on April 14th. I called at 0830 because it was cold out and he said they would be at the house at around 1030-1130. They came at 1030 and power washed the necessary areas and re-glazed windows. The following day they painted and finished the job. The house had been wrapped with vinyl three years ago and is all brick.

Great. Chris, the representative arrived at the time we agreed upon and I received my quote within just a few minutes after he measured the areas and discussed the effect we wanted to achieve. The crew arrived at the scheduled date and time and did a fantastic job staining our porches and deck. The finished product is fantastic.

They did a great job, the only complaint was that they didn't get their dropcloths out and spilled some paint but they came right out and cleaned it up. They are real responsive. Cost is combination of exterior paint job and some deck staining.

They did a great job. They got it done quickly. They worked really hard. The only complaint I have about the company is that they use non-english speaking employees and it was hard to communicate, the one person who could speak english wasn't always there.
