He was excellent. He worked around my schedule. He did sample colors on the front door and when my color look good, he had a better suggestion which we actually took. He was very professional. He cleaned up and didn't mess anything up. It's what you really hope for in that situation. His pricing was reasonable.

The crew arrived on time. They removed their shoes prior to entering the house. They paid close attention to detail. The workmanship was excellent.

So happy with the finished product. The crew were professional, responsive, and were definitely interested in my satisfaction. They cleaned up every day and the project manager was always available if I needed. It rained a little throughout the project so there were some delays and the project took longer than expected, but that couldn't be helped!

Customer Service (A+): What would make me hire The Painting Co again is Chris and his superb customer service. For every road bump, he addressed and fixed them immediately. Promptness (A): The crew of two was scheduled to arrive between 8-9am and showed up promptly before 8:30am every day. Professionalism (A): Over-all everyone was professional The work itself (B): This would have been an "A" if it weren't for the bathroom paint job referenced below. Quote (C): I ran into a few road bumps on getting a quote for the right areas. It took three quotes to get things right even after I provided what areas needed to be quoted in writing to Andrea, but due to Chris' great customer service, he was on top of fixing everything immediately. Communication (C): I feel all the road bumps were due to poor communication between Chris, Andrea and the crew. Upon returning home to what was supposed to be a completed paint job, I ran into another miscommunication problem. I thought the crew had accidentally omitted the downstairs bathroom and called Chris to schedule them to come back a fourth day. All was scheduled and Danny was there the next morning, but upon arrival Danny called me and had no idea he was supposed to paint the bathroom and although very nice seemed a bit annoyed that he had to do so and said he needed to call Chris to confirm even though it was in my quote and I had setup the additional appointment with Chris. Upon arriving home this day, I saw that the lines in the bathroom were not as clean, there was paint in between my wood slates, paint on the floor where all the trim was painted and powdery paint all behind the toilet - I still haven't gotten it all out. All the other work was an A, except for this last room.

The Painting Co did a great job! They were on time, and they did a very nice, professional job. The Painting qoutes great. Everyone was also friendly, and easy to work with.

William came on time, surveyed the areas needing retouch, prepped the area and immediately began the touch-up process using the punch I provided. Very personable.

We were very thrilled not only with the work product and the reasonable pricing but very pleased with the owner and crew. We were extremely impressed with Chris the owner, Marcus the crew foreman and Cesar and his crew and Andrea in the office. They were punctual, hard working and very nice people. Not only would we hire them again and again but we would highly recommend them to anyone!

Chris was very good to work with. Attention to detail and making the customer happy was his main focus. Great work by a good group of painting professionals. Painters cleaned up well after the job. Touch ups and follow ups were scheduled and done promptly. Would definitely use this company for other painting jobs. Thank guys.

I called for an estimate and received a call-back the same day. The estimator showed up on time, walked through what I wanted done and then provided an estimate. I called several days later to accept and was given a target date for the work to be started. They called and actually we were able to get them started a day earlier than expected. The crew showed up the morning they were due, were introduced, and shown around the house and given instruction on what work was to be done. They then spent the next four days painting the exterior and trim and the living room ceiling and garage. The painting jobs were thorough and to my satisfaction. During these work days, the quality manager also stopped by several times to check with me on how the job was going. Miguel and the painters showed up each day on time, consulted me when they had questions, and in general did a good job. I would recommend them and would also use them again.

The overall experience was terrific! The guys showed up everyday early and left late! Hard workers! Great job!

Spoke with Andrea, very nice, set up a time to get a quote. Paul came out give me a very good price. The painting crew came out on Monday at 8:00 a.m. Start working and the were very neat covered up shrubs used drop cloth everywhere. They were thru on Thursday. Jorge the foreman was very nice. I was really pleased I asked him to paint my garage door two colors he did. I didn't like my choice of color scheme. And he painted one color for me with no problem. Marcus was also came out to check jobs and was very nice to work with. I definite would have The Painting Co. back any better to others. Edited as of 5/18/17 - Sixths months after they did the work, I noticed that the paint on my windowsills was coming up. I called and left messages, but no one has gotten back to me. I guess when they closed the windows; they closed them too soon, so when you opened them; the paint came up. They did a good job painting, and everything else looks good. I just wish they would get back in touch to fix the windowsills.

These guys are very professional and polite. Plus they were the lowest bidder! They pressure washed the first day, and then came back the next day to prime and put on the first exterior coat. The next day they came back and put on the second finish coat. Paul came out to give the estimate. Ask for him. He is great! The job was done beautifully with great attention to detail. They cleaned up every day at the end of the job. Out of three bids, they were the only company that recommended the specific type of paint made by Sherwin Williams specifically for stucco. They are honest, very professional, and no B.S. like some other companies.

Chris was prompt, personable and knowledgeable. And patient with my innumerable questions. He was also supremely gracious when I informed him that we are going with another provider. It was a close call and I would go back to Chris in a heartbeat.

This review is lengthy but I wanted to give as much detail as possible about our experience. The initial experience getting an estimate and scheduling the service went very smoothly. Although we were initially just going to pay per room, when I noticed this coupon and asked them about it we decided it would be a good way to get started on our painting projects. However, the problems began the day the painting was scheduled to begin. The two painters were scheduled to arrive between 8 and 9am. I was admittedly running a bit late that morning and didn't arrive to the house until approximately 8:30. As I was driving down the street I saw one of the painters get out of the van and walk to the front door. When I pulled into the drive way I apologized for being late and they explained that they had just arrived. (Later the same painter would tell me that they arrived at 8am but were not going to call until after 8:30. Although that isn't impossible, it seems strange that if they got there at 8am at no one answered the door, and no one had pulled into the driveway, they would return to the front door again just before 8:30 as I came down the street.) I invited the two men into the house and walked them through each room in which we needed painting done. I explained that given we hired them by the hour I wanted them to work on projects in a particular order so that the highest priority items were completed first. I gave them a written list of the projects in priority order. They began bringing in supplies and I explained that I needed to run an errand to Home Depot to purchase some items for projects they might have time for towards the end of the day. I left them my cell phone number to call if there were questions, offered to bring back coffee and breakfast, and left to run my errand. When I returned just over an hour later, they were still taping and patching holes and hadn't even begun painting yet. This seemed strange to me given the relatively small number of items there were to patch and that, given there were two of them, essentially more than two hours of labor had passed. I explained that I would be working in an upstairs bedroom if they needed anything. A couple hours later I came downstairs and found that they had one coat of paint on most of a couple ceilings but that was it. I offered to order pizza for lunch and they politely declined saying that they brought their lunch and were going to take a break then. They hooked up a microwave and hotplate in the driveway and had their lunch. I returned upstairs and they came back in about an hour later. As they began working again I left briefly to go get lunch for myself. When I left they were beginning to paint a foyer wall. When I returned less than 30 minutes later, they were not much further along on that same wall. Again, I went to work in an upstairs bedroom. A while later one of the men came to the room I was in and indicated they were finished. I was surprised because they had not been there for 8 hours yet and also took about a 1 hour break for lunch. When I walked through the home with them I quickly realized that they had painted several areas that not only did I not ask for them to paint, but specifically asked them NOT to paint. Also, in nearly all the rooms where they painted the ceilings they had also gotten ceiling paint on the walls. When I asked them about that they said they had assumed I would be painting the walls. I am not sure why they made that assumption but of course given I didn't have matching paint for those walls I have now had to purchase additional paint and repaint those walls. Although both of the men had been polite and friendly up to this point, they did not seem to understand why I was disappointed in the work and that they were stopping prior to the end of 8 hours. This is when he explained that they arrived at 8am (although there was evidence to the contrary) and that they usually get paid for their lunch break. He said he did not keep track of how long they took for their lunch break. I explained that although they certainly were entitled to take a lunch break and the company may pay them for their lunch break, I didn't believe it was fair for me to lose a full hour of my coupon (effectively 2 hours of labor) for their lunch. He disagreed and said that was how it was typically done. He offered to continue working and at that point I was frustrated and simply asked the two men to pack of their things and leave. Neither of them lost their temper or raised their voice (which I certainly appreciate) but it took quite a bit of effort, time, and repeated requests for them to gather their things and leave. Despite very clear instructions to leave they kept trying to continue working. Eventually I began carrying their items outside and placing them near their van. As a side note, the two painters regularly spoke in Spanish to each other. Obviously, this is mostly irrelevant. However, I would caution them from having inappropriate and unprofessional conversations in any language while at work. I will spare you the details of their conversation and just say that their apparent assumption that I do not also speak Spanish was wholly incorrect. After they left I called and spoke with a manager (I believe his name was Paul but I cannot remember for sure) and had an extremely pleasant experience. This was perhaps the ideal way a company should handle a dissatisfied customer. He apologized profusely and asked for the opportunity to make the situation right. In the event I did not want someone from the company to come back, he offered to refund a portion of my money or purchase some additional painting supplies for me. I decided to accept his offer to have two different painters come back for 4 hours. When they came out Paul met the three painters here to make sure instructions were clear and showed them each area to complete. Paul helped me select an amount of work that was reasonable to expect to be completed in 4 hours. The three painters worked quickly and carefully and completed the tasks in just over an hour. I was happy with the work they did, however, seeing how fast they worked when they had a set list of tasks really highlighted how little was done during the first visit. I wholeheartedly appreciate Paul's method of dealing with the situation and sending several painters back to finish the work; however, I cannot say I would hire this company again. I also learned my lesson about hiring painters by the hour.

They did a good job. They got there on time and called to make sure that everything was ok.

Excellent service all the way around. I was contacted quickly by Andrea who is a delight to talk to. Chris, the owner, met me for a quote and was punctual, personable, efficient, and gave me a quote on the spot. Then once the job started, Marcus the supervisor was very professional and communicated with me throughout. Finally, Jorge and his crew were wonderful--prompt, friendly, and did excellent work. They finished the job a day sooner than expected. I chose this paint contractor over 2 other that I contacted. I would hire them again in a heartbeat. Absolutely the only thing that has gone flawlessly with my mom's condo purchase has been The Painting Company's role in all of it, and for that I am truly grateful. I hope to hire them for my own home soon!
