Our crew was great, on time & very efficient. They communicated the entire time where they were w/the process.

They did not paint our home as scheduled, and the delay was approximately 2 to 3 weeks. The crew left paint on my cement and brick. A professional company would have covered these areas to avoid paint splatters. They have tried several times to remove the paint without 100 percent success. They left trash in our yard and cigarettes. We are non-smokers and found this offensive. We also took several days off for the painting project which was continually delayed, and resulted in lost vacation days at work.

The good: Job was completed in a timely manner. Quality of wood repair seems to be good. They were $3000 cheaper than another well-know contractor. The bad: Lack of attention to details. Sure, the finished product looks nice, but the process was problematic. They broke the aerial Charter cable line going to the house from the street. They didn't knock on the door and recommend moving cars away from the house before spraying the front of the house, and got over spray on a yellow Corvette. I had to borderline coerce them to completely remove the shutters for proper pressure washing and painting of that area. When the shutters were off and they saw the filth and bees nests behind them, the lead painter exclaimed "Oh, yea". Assumptions were made about how the shutters were attached to the house without actually taking the time to find out that it was just 6 screws per shutter. They mangled some gutter screens and left others completely removed, then took $50 off the bill as compensation. They started to re-install the shutters back on upside down and I caught that error in-progress. They caulked the lap joints of the siding that was replaced, which might be common in newer homes, but mine is 40 years old and none of the existing planks have lap joint caulking...but what do I know, right? They did not paint the steel deck support poles in the rear of the house, and as of this writing the project manager said it would be scheduled, but I haven't heard squat. They've been paid, so I don't have much faith that this will ever happen.

All work was sub-contracted but it went well.

07/26/2017 Buyer beware!!!!! We looked at the good rating this company had and was totally shocked at what we got. We contracted for 2 exterior coats of paint (as well as the interior of a screened porch) along with gutter replacement. On the first day, the gutter people never showed. The painters started to power wash. We told them not to waste their time because they would have to do it again after the gutters were removed. They continued. Second day: the gutter people again didn't show. The painters decided to take the gutters down themselves. They removed the gutter directly over a bay window that we had some issues with earlier and had since repaired. It had approximately 6 inches of dry rot. The team lead, Elvia, insisted that all of the soffits on the house needed to be replaced. We told her that she could not jump to that conclusion. We went back and forth on that with her insisting that all of the soffits needed to be replaced. Then she said something in Spanish to the guy who was taking down the gutters. The next piece he took down had the soffit attached....he didn't even try removing the gutter separately. He threw it on the ground and started to move on. I went over and looked at the soffit and there was absolutely nothing wrong with the wood! I told her that he needed to take down the gutters ONLY and we would inspect the soffits as he went. We also insisted that he had to put the soffit back on the house that he had just taken down and thrown away. After all of the gutters were removed, the only bad piece of wood was the 4 foot piece that had the 6 inches of dry rot. They then started getting ready to paint. I told them that they needed to power wash. The gutters were full of mud and muck and caused a mess. They did. IMMEDIATELY after power washing, they started to spray paint the house while it was still wet. Third day: the painters came back to finish spraying the house while simultaneously painting the trim a different color. They started cleaning up at the end of the day and said they were done. We asked where our second coat was. We actually had to call the office and insist that they paint the second coat that was in our contract and we had paid for. Fourth day: Again, they simultaneously spray painted the house while hand brushing the trim. The second coat was applied very selectively. The painter was trying not to get too close to the trim that had already been painted. If we had to hazard a guess, we would say that we got 1 1/3 coats of paint. In fact, I followed them into the screened porch and touched the wall as they were leaving. The painter told me that it was "fresh". Absolutely no paint came off on my finger and the porch looks horrible. During the painting process, I showed Elvia TWICE that they had not painted the edges of the garage doors. They're still NOT painted. But, after they cleaned up, she called Mike at the office and put me on the phone with him. I told him how unhappy we were and what they did. He wanted to know "just how did I know this?". I told him that we had been outside each and every minute!!! The painters were ready to go and we were ready for them to leave. I have to wonder how many people don't have the time to stand outside and watch what kind of paint job they get. The customer comes home after work and sees that the house looks pretty good and gives them a good rating. Thank goodness, we're old retired military people and had the time to witness this process. We know that we didn't get what we contracted for and what we paid for. If they only spray 1 1/3 coats of paint on every house that the owner is paying for 2 coats, they're making out like bandits. They took the final payment and I'm still waiting on Mike to call back. It's now a week later. I'm sure they're laughing all the way to the bank and have made it obvious that they don't care. We just don't understand why they couldn't do the job that we had contracted for. And we also have been wondering if their insisting that the soffits were bad was a ploy to get more money out of us. OBTW....the gutters look fine from the ground. I guess I get to look forward to buying some paint, climbing up a ladder and painting the exterior (as well as the interior) of the screened porch and then painting the edges of the garage doors. To the gutter issue, we communicated to the customer that the team that was scheduled to remove the gutters was delayed and our solution was to have the painters remove the gutters. In over 9 years in the painting/gutter business, never once have old gutters installed with nails pulled out a fascia board due to improper removal and neither was it the case here. Our team did not recommend replacing all of the soffit on the house either. There were several soft or rotted areas that we did recommend replacing and the customer opted not to. The idea that we put on 1 1/3 coats is baffling. Not only did we put 2 full coats on as contracted, on many areas we put on a 3rd coat in an attempt to please the customer. Finally, before the job was finished and we were paid, we asked the customer multiple times what we could do to please them and make them happy. The response was "nothing, we will pay you and then write a terrible review on Angie's List." We're very dissapointed that we couldn't make the customer happy but in the case we're not sure what else we could have done. ************ We wrote that review at the end of July. They have never contacted us since then. Now they are lying about the gutter situation as well as the coats of paint that were applied. NOT only did we NOT get 2 full coats, but suggesting that a 3rd coat was applied is a bold face lie!!!!! And it's almost funny to suggest that I said that about Angie's List. BUYER BEWARE!!!!

They did an excellent job, were punctual, cleaned up well, and had great communication with us. Excellent company.

They did a good job, but there were some touch ups and cleanup needed, and after several attempts to get them to follow up I gave up. I will take care of it myself and remove them from my list of companies to use in the future.

The estimating and sales phase was excellent. Next was 1/2 day of pressure washing the outside of the house -- the person doing the washing overlooked 2 windows in the rear of the house. I know because the windows still had spiderwebs. The 2nd day consisted of two brothers dressed in non-descript work clothes and an old van with no logos who did repair work, sanding, and cleaning...and some painting. The 3rd day consisted of four men who finished the painting work. The results of the wood repair and painting was satisfactory. The job was done completely and the men invited me to review the work. There were some paint spills here and there and signs of not using painters tape where it would have been useful. Bits of trash and shards of wood remained on the periphery of the house.

They were awesome. Did exactly what they said they would do and the work was done professionally. Cabinets look great. They did such a good job that other tenants in my building hired them also.

Rain was a problem for a couple of weeks but the crew worked as much as they could. I don't believe they pressure washed my house as good as needed, there was still a wasps nest on the porch. But my home looks great.

Great. Weather delayed project and materials changed mid-project, but due to good communication it was not a problem. Great crew!

The guys worked hard, and did a fantastic job.

The paint job itself was fine. Unfortunately, I had a unique situation where the crew left the job due to an "emergency", but didn't communicate matter to myself or the home office/operations manager. This caused some last minute/late evening scrambling to determine how job would be completed the next day. Then, I was mistakenly overcharged, which I had to bring to the company's attention. This is why I rated professionalism & responsiveness lower than the other categories. The quality of the work definitely redeemed the company.

Went very well. Jason gave us an estimate and also added and revised some items without any difficulties. The crew showed up timely and worked over several days to finish the outside and inside work. The crew leader - Enrique - was great. Very skilled at painting and also on the couple of woodwork items we needed completed (door frame and deck boards). They were doing such a great job we added some items as they went along. The project manager - Wes - checked in regularly and was easy to deal with. House looks great.

Went great. Good company. I'd hire them again. My only criticism is that the painting crew on two occasions showed up later than I thought they would. But they got the job done and were very thorough.

It went well! They helped me select paint colors and paint types during our consultation. The crew was extremely efficient and completed the project ahead of schedule. The Project Manager overseeing the crew communicated with me daily to let me know how everything was going. The end result was beautiful and the quality of their work was excellent.

Very professional, quick response to our request and actually showed up in time. Quality of work was excellent and they went above and beyond to paint our stained entertainment center. It was hard to paint and required more coats than estimated to adequately cover the stain

Everything from the estimation process to the completion of the job was fantastic. Then added on additional work based on the recommendation of the crew they had out here. Very pleased with the service and responsiveness. Would definitely hire again and am recommending to my neighbors!
