Description of Work: After checking on Angie's List I called AAR because I thought my microwave was not working. Both my wife and I had tried it. The technician, David, came out and when he tried it, the microwave worked. He was exceptionally friendly and only charged the $29.95 service call fee. He could have told me something serious was wrong, made unnecessary repairs and charged me much more. I truly appreciate his integrity and highly recommend the company.

Description of Work: Terrible. I scheduled the service this morning at 10 a.m.. At 10:45, I figured something was wrong when he hadn't shown up or called. He acted like we had never talked or scheduled anything. After reading him the information on the deal, he explained that he no longer worked with the Angie's list deals and I would have to pay him separately. This made no sense to me. This is the last of three bad experiences I've had with contractors with very good ratings here. I'm confused why this is happening so consistently.

Requested that we monitor the situation and report problems after the New Year. All turned out well. Reasonable price for excellent service.

+ -1 moreI had a leaking dishwasher in a vacant rental property I own in Decatur (I live in southern Florida). The company owner, Jay, came out that day to fix the leak. He had tools, and he said he has been in this business over 20 years, but he appeared not to know what to do. Another man was there from another company working on another problem. He worked with Jay, diagnosing and showing Jay how to fix the problem. I was in the kitchen with the two men the whole time and that is how it appeared to me. Once the leak was fixed the other man left. Jay put the lower panel back on the dishwasher, I paid him, and he left. Then when I tried to open the dishwasher after he left, it wouldn't open because the lower panel had been put on wrong, and besides that, the big rolling basket for the dishes had been left out on the kitchen counter (I put it back in the dishwasher, that was easy.) My husband was going to be in Georgia two weeks later doing some work at the property, so he was going to reattach the lower panel correctly while he was there. As it happened, Jay called me about something, so I told him about the panel. He said he would go back during the next week and fix it, which was agreeable to me (he had the lockbox code). When my husband got there it still had not been attached correctly so he did it himself. By the way, we tested the dishwasher for leaks several times and it didn't leak any more.

Description of Work: I called Sears and they were 3 hours late and ask for $86.00 up front. My friend told me to call Jay and he was very professional and 15 minuets early and charge me 60% less than all of the other compaines I called/ DONT CALL ANYONE ELSE! THIS COMPANY IS CHEAPER AND FAST! THANK YOU JAY LEIGH

Description of Work: This company is AWEOSOME. My washer was showing a f35. Jay, came 10 min. early and walked me through to repair. I called several companies and had a company come and look at my washer. They were $120.00 more.! Thank You, Jay for being honest and helping me fix my fridge too,
