The contractor was significantly less expensive than other quotes that I received. I also could not imagine them doing a better job. Everything was done so well. They were so very courteous and even did extra wood repair for us without charging us. I would highly recommend them to anyone with a critter in their attic. It has been about two years since the work was done, and we have had no problems.

Great experience. Called, left a message and got an immediate call back. They did not have an immediate appointment, so the company told me what to do about my issue and the smell. I appreciate the fact that they helped me over the phone rather than just charging me for something that I could do myself.

The rodents are gone and have not returned. I like the fact that there is a lifetime guarantee, even if I sell the house. Overall, it went well.

We had a problem with squirrel in our attic: they damaged fascia board, got in the attic through the gap and the chewed some electrical wires. Ken came the same day and did a very thorough inspection - he explained in details what he discovered and the process of taking care of the problem. The following day he e-mailed me a comprehensive estimate for different options and with pictures showing the squirrel nest and the damage done by squirrel. Within two days Sean Caruso and his co-worker Luis sealed the house, got rid of the squirrel and the squirrel nest by installing one-way tunnel, repaired fascia board and closed the gap, repaired chewed wires. Very professional, very efficient.

Sean and his crew did a great job with our animal exclusion and gutter replacement. I was extremely impressed by the thorough inspection he did of our attic and roof, and his experience and knowledge of the issues. We had grey squirrels and flying squirrels in our attic, and multiple entry points. We also were due for new gutters. The job took a total of three days. The guys were neat, friendly and efficient. It has been several weeks, and all is quiet in the attic. The gutters look good, and the color they selected was a good match for our existing trim. Extremely satisfied.

Animals B Gone did a thorough inspection of the entire house and provided a well prepared written quote that specifically detailed the proposed services. They confirmed the presence of gray squirrels in the attic and submitted a detailed plan to seal any entry points and repaired wood damage caused by squirrels and woodpeckers. They arrived at the time promised and kept us informed of what they were doing during the job. All of the repairs were performed satisfactorily and Animals B Gone followed up after the job t make sure we were satisfied.

This is the second time I've used Animals B Gone. The first time they did an impeccable job removing rodents and sealing our house, and this time they came out and installed a vapor barrier in our crawl space. They did an amazing job, and the vapor barrier should keep water in the ground where it belongs.

This company did a great job for us. I can't say enough about them. The project manager on the project was so polite and kind. I would absolutely hire this company again (but I hope I don't have too). They completely rid us of the problems we were having and we have not experienced any more intrusions by unwanted mammals like rodents.

They just came back about a month ago, on warranty, because we saw a mouse. They were very prompt, very pleasant, and they took care of it. We haven't had any further episodes.

Ken and his colleague were very thorough and very professional. They were unable to locate the dead animal, because it was eventually discovered to be in my neighbor's backyard. However, Ken and his colleague were committed to tracking down the cause behind the unpleasant odor. I appreciated their information and process of elimination to get to bottom of the stench.

The actual work went very well, with a big crew to complete the biggest part of the job in one day. There were other appointments to check in the attics to be sure they were cleared. They missed some of these shorter appointments, but at least they called when they couldn't get there to reschedule. Overall we were very pleased with the results and felt they really understood the problem and how to address it.

They sealed up spaces in my foundation. They were very proactive. They spent a lot of time in my attic sealing up potential entry points as well. Their price was reasonable and I was happy with them, overall.

I first called Animals B Gone back in March when we heard and saw a bird(s) living in the wall of our bedroom. I talked to Ken Boone. I didn't want to harm them unnecessarily. Ken said they could remove the birds & eggs or babies but the chicks might not survive. We decided to wait until the birds had moved out. Called again in May after the birds had gone, and made an appointment for them to come out and seal the hole. Lee came out on 5/30 and sealed up the hole, 28' above the ground, where the birds had been along with 2 or 3 other holes in the siding on the same side of the house. I had some left over paint that matched the siding which I gave him to paint over the affected areas. Now it looks fine and should last until the next time the house needs to be painted.

I had tried another service unsuccessfully in the past and was not satisfied until Animals B Gone came out and did the job right this time.

They did what they said. They are a little expensive but the do incredibly good work. The guy who serviced me was Shane. They come when they say they are going to. They do good work and clean up real well. They have good integrity and it was a good experience all the way around.

They came in, found out what we needed, and took care of it. They also sealed the house for us. If anything goes wrong we should be able to call them and they will come back for no charge.

We recently closed on our first home and found out that the house had some unwanted visitors (roof rats). These varmints had made their way from the attic to the basement and had made a mess of the insulation and some of the ceilings. Due to the health concerns and annoyances associated with rats I wanted them out of the house. I contact two wildlife removal specialists that were highly rated on Angie's List to give me an estimate for removal and cleaning.The first company came out with high tech infrared gear. They found a number of rats in the attic, as well as several in the basement. They also pointed out several locations where the rats were most likely getting in, and they gave me an estimate to exclude and trap them. The price they quoted seemed pretty resonable for the amount of work that was to be performed. The technician from Animals B Gone showed up a few hours after the high tech guy and didn't have any fancy infrared gear. At first I wrote Animals B Gone off because they didn't have the high tech gear, but when the technician (Sean Caruso) gave me his feedback I was blown away. He provided 3x the amount of information w/ no high tech gear, and as he pointed out they use their extensive field experience to figure out how to get rid of rats. His thoroughness during the initial inspection as well as his war stories made me want to use this company. After we settled on a fair price I scheduled the work with Animals B Gone. They showed up Saturday morning at 9am and began the "exclusion" process. This included putting mesh over every possible entrance to the house (you would be amazed at how thorough they are with this!), they cleaned my gutters and installed rodent guards on top of them. This process took 3 guys an entire day (I didn't realize how much work was involved!). On the second day they sucked out all of the tainted insulation in the attic and gutted the contaminated ceilings in the basement. After everything was removed and disposed of they came back and used their atomizer to disinfect and deodorize the attic as well as the basement ceiling. The atomizer is supposed to kill any nasty leftovers from the rats, and the deodorizer made both the attic and basement smell quite nice. I just paid Sean for the work yesterday, and while it sucks to part with 3k I truly felt the work they performed was worth EVERY penny! This is the first company that I have worked with that is 100%focused on customer service, and it shows before, during and after the work. Their work is first rate, and Sean Caruso is an amazing guy. He's honest, tells you like it is and shows you what they are doing each step of the way. I can't recommend these guys enough, and if you have rats, bats, bees, etc. you should give them a call. Make sure to ask for Sean, since he's the only sales guy I met (can't vouch for the other sales guys since I only worked with Sean). *** UPDATE 07/15/12 *** I just wanted to note here that Animals B Gone stands by their lifetime guarantee. They've been out 2 - 3 times to address issues after the initial service call, and it hasn't cost me a dime. We are now rat free, and I'm still overjoyed with the experience!!!

I was referred to this company through a neighbor. I had agreed on a handshake with Shane Moss to do the job. Shane came out and crawled into both my attics actually seeing the "critter" in one of the attics where we knew he was. Shane took time explaining to me the different ways they could be getting in and how more than ever squirrels are being born in attics and now consider these locations home and come back time after time. It's important to mention that it's best left to professionals to do the job and do the entire job. Trying to "piece meal" a current problem either yourself or having them do a partial is not a good idea. It's best to get the job done completely and not have to deal with it anymore. He showed me the materials that would be used. They were the first and only company I had out. Sometimes you can still do that kind of business these days, but not often. I later called Kenneth Boone (owner) somewhat by accident when I noticed a different address listed on the internet for the company. I was concerned there might be another Animals B Gone so I dialed the number and Kenneth answered informing me they were indeed the same company. He took a lot of time telling me about the company, the employees and how important Angie's List is to them. I came to Angie's list thru Kenneth Boone. I joined later that day and was convinced that I had made the right decision and was glad for the call. All the employees are longtime with the company. The day they came out I was fortunate to have Shane, Julio, and Omar doing the work. Julio and Omar were as pleasant and professional as one could hope for. I asked them questions and they took the time to answer and show me why there were doing something. At times they found possible problem areas that needed to be done that weren't originally detected and did the work and I was charged no more than my initial agreement. Small things that made a difference but some companies would try to charge for. These guys were great. When they finished the initial work, they set up the one way "installer" to allow any squirrels to exit the attic that might have remained inside. Kenneth came by 2 days after the "first" part of the job was complete with Luis to see how everything went and Luis did a few more things that were extra "insurance", little odds and ends. The other day Lee came by to complete the work. He removed the installer and sealed the vent. He was as professional and friendly as the rest of the crew had been. He cleaned and deodorized the attics. One attic is a very difficult one to enter but no complaints, Lee when right in. I highly recommend this company and I wish them continued success. As far as their prices are concerned I don't have any other bids to compare them with but I will say I have talked with other people and I think their prices for all the extra work they did was very fair. I am confident that my problem is solved and if not they will come out and re-investigate. They are as good as their word. Thanks guys. jp

We had a problem with gray squirrels in our attic. Entry points were damaged fascia board and gaps on roof where gutter attaches to house. Curtis came out and diagnosed our problem. The following week he was out here with a crew to install one-way tunnels that would allow the squirrels to exit our house and not return. Additionally, our fascia board was repaired, gaps were fixed and all vents on house were properly closed off. About a week after first visit the crew came out and removed tunnels, vacuumed, sprayed and disinfected the attic. The crew was thorough and efficient in their work. A month has passed and we no longer have the sound of squirrels running around in the attic (early mornings and evenings). We are very pleased with the work done and it was a great joy seeing the angry squirrels in our front yard that could no longer get into the house. I would highly recommend Animals B Gone.
